I really liked the oriental-style hotel; it's very beautiful, with clean, cozy rooms, polite staff, and a beautifully designed interior. I really liked the owner, Anvar, who helped us exchange money and took us to the center of the old city, suggesting interesting excursions. I definitely recommend this hotel; it has a very luxurious interior. If I ever return to Bukhara, I'll definitely stay here.

Great hotel not far from downtown. Very easy to call yandex taxi to everywhere. Good swimming pool too. Saved out lives from heat of the Bukhara.

I am so glad to have chosen this guesthouse. It was our best experience among all the other hotels. The owner, Iha, was so hospitable.
The rooms were not big given that there were 3 beds but it was comfortable. The toilet was clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated too.
I was having sinus problems and Iha made a pot of mint tea for me, complimentary. Very kind!
He also took us on a tour to the Summer Palace.
Som reviews has said it was difficult to locate. That’s because the entrance is facing a side lane. I am putting a pic here so that you can recognise how it look like as your taxi drive past.

Не понравилось. В номере чисто, во дворе -нет, я бы лестницу помыла, стулья на веранде, где завтраки оставляют грязные пятна на одежде. Завтрак - обычный, нормальный, но и ничего особенного, покупная еда в основном. В номере была сломана стойка душа и не работал телевизор. При обращении к администратору было обещано отремонтировать, по факту - ничего, восточные сказки. Ещё неприятность с оплатой турналога, на сайте указана стоимость в сумах, а в отельчике 5 долларов с курсом в переводе в сумы - какой захотел администратор + НДС, который был оплачен при бронировании, это все копейки по сути, но по факту - бизнес по -восточному, причем ссылка, что тут не правильно подсчитано и бронь - это ничего не значит, как будто в Узбекистане турналог платят в долларах.

The hotel is in the new town, but only 3km away from the old town. There is a shopping mall next to it with a large supermarket and a fast food restaurant upstairs. The hotel room is quite large and relatively clean, but the mattress is a bit hard. Locals like to come to the hotel lobby and garden to take wedding photos. The water in the swimming pool is not very clean.

Очень уютный семейный отель.Комфортные номера со всем необходимым( фен, шампунь,мыло,зубная щётка, тапочки).Очень хорошие завтраки.
Единственное, чтобы мы рекомендовали учесть отелю = шторы= они сильно пропускают солнце и с самого раннего восхода это не даёт спать.
В остальном отель просто отличным с очень доброжелательным обслуживанием!!

CCatchthefartMost hotels in Bukhara have rather questionable interior designs, but Mercure isn't one of them. This hotel is beautifully decorated and bright inside. The lobby offers complimentary water and local dried fruits, and the service is excellent. The rooms are a bit small, but that seems to be the norm for hotels of this caliber on this trip. The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the edge of the old city, avoiding the crowded traffic within. It's a 10-minute walk to the square with the Afanti statue and 15 minutes to the Chor Minor Mosque – all easily walkable if you're up for it.

NNari.I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Old City, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers convenient access to major historical attractions, local restaurants, and vibrant الأسواق, all within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience.
The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas.
One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination.
Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean, and the interior and doors had a lovely, authentic Uzbek design. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of vegetables and fruits, allowing for a hearty start to the day. The courtyard was decorated with elements that truly captured Uzbek culture. The shower had good water pressure, and the bathrooms were clean. The hotel staff were incredibly kind; although there's no elevator, they helped carry our heavy suitcases both upon arrival and departure!
During breakfast, other guests were celebrating a birthday with a surprise party, and at check-out, we were even given snacks. The owner and all the staff were very kind and attentive. We had a small issue, but they handled it professionally and earnestly.
The hotel is close to the Ark Citadel, and it's about a 20-minute walk along the main street from the Lyab-i Hauz area, so you can easily explore without needing a taxi. Underneath the Ark Citadel, there was a festive light-up from the end of the year into the new year, attracting many locals. The area around the hotel is quiet, which was perfect for a relaxing stay.

The staff were friendly and spoke fluent English.
Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of food and was delicious.
I'm sure the hotel room walls were designed to resemble Bukhara, but the one thing that bothered me was the white powder that would stain clothes and other items when they touched the walls.

Excellent, yet peaceful, location right in the middle of the ‘old town’, surrounded by shops and restaurants and most , if not all , of the important sites within walking distance. Friendly service, comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. ( note this is Rayyan 1 hotel, next to the Synagogue, not sister hotel Rayyan 2, which Yandex taxi might take you close to, but still within walking distance)

The Lyabi Hauz Hotel is located just a stone's throw from Lyabi Hauz in the old historic city of Bukhara. The streets are narrow, nestled between closely packed houses, often other hotels, and cars are not allowed. So the taxi driver dropped us off near the edge of the old city, and we then wheeled our suitcases to the hotel. Apparently, the Lyabi Hauz Hotel is a former madrassa converted into a hotel. A small part of the hotel is occupied by the Aivan restaurant, which apparently serves primarily European dishes, but at lunch you can try Bukhara pilaf, which is not on the menu.
The location right next to the tourist center is a definite advantage. It was very convenient to walk to the nearby attractions, of which there are plenty. We also walked to Samonid Park and the Ark Fortress.
Our room was comfortable, with windows overlooking an inner courtyard that could be screened off with curtains. The Wi-Fi worked well. The only downsides I could find were that the bathroom exhaust fan was loud and turned on with the light, and that there wasn't enough space in the bathroom to hang two sets of towels—there weren't enough hooks or anything else to hang four towels. But those are minor details.
We really enjoyed our stay and relaxation at this hotel, thank you!

IiiiiriiioIt was a wonderful stay. It's very close to tourist attractions like the Ark Fortress, all within walking distance. The owner was very friendly and kindly accommodated our requests. Regarding dinner, we hadn't made any reservations, but when we asked, they went to the bazaar to buy ingredients for $15 USD per person, providing plov, four kinds of salad, herbal tea, and various fruits. The quality and quantity were excellent; it would definitely cost more than $15 USD at a regular restaurant. We were able to fully enjoy the local cuisine. Although we declined as we are poor students, they also offer a master class on plov for an additional $10 USD per person. Please note that prices may change as this was a last-minute request. Breakfast included salad, soup, and coffee, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. While they do offer typical sausage breakfasts, I recommend trying the local soup if you're in Bukhara. Again, the quantity and quality were superb.
The guest rooms were new and spotlessly clean, as the hostel only opened two and a half years ago. The design was also very nice. I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel, which is perfect in every aspect: food, accommodation, and hospitality!

The quilts, sheets and pillowcases are all very clean and white. The hygiene is clean and tidy. There are cleaners cleaning every day. GGuest UserGreat 3 nights stay at the lovely Alexia Suite Unesco heritage list hotel. Really convenient and inside the old town but not too close of the busy area so really peaceful hotel. The young reception guy is really smiling and helpful. The terrace is really appreciable where you can read and enjoy the freshness of the morning or evening. Our room 102 next to the lift (not noisy) is really spacious with twin beds and sofa, the bathroom is spacious and equipped with shower and bathtub (no amenities as it is an eco-responsible hotel with no plastic usage).
