We had a wonderful stay at Aden Motel. The room had all the necessary amenities (electric blankets, heater, warm shower, fully equipped kitchen) for a good night’s rest, along with parking right at the doorstep. Met Irene at check-in and David when checking out - a very friendly couple and excellent hosts! The lovely painting of an autumn tree was also a nice touch (didn’t get a photo unfortunately). Overall, we highly recommend Aden Motel.

Great location. Friendly and attentive restaurant staff. I really appreciated the use of the laundry. I’d definitely stay again if I’m back in the area and would recommend to friends and family.

Location: The hotel is located across from Lake Te Anau which also leads to Manapouri which is our intended destination for Doubtful Sound cruise.
Parking: The 2 BR cabin was conveniently located at the front of the park (which is huge) and parked right in front of the cabin.
Rooms: The cabin is split into 3 distinct areas - 1 large bedroom with queen bed, 1 bathroom in center of cabin, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds - since I was with family we had the whole cabin with the bathroom in center of the 2 cabins.
Facilities: It was nice that they have fast Wifi and laundry rooms across the park. Used the laundry facilities and it was well maintained. We also rented their lockers to store our luggage as we had to take an overnight cruise at Doubtful Sound.

酒店很新，房間中規中矩。就是前台服務的印度人女士很隨意，説了換牛奶瓶，記錄房間號，半夜也沒人，還是攜程給力馬上溝通後處理。附近離漁業局很近，領鮑魚刀可以去布拉夫試***，我那天風浪太大撈不到。鮑魚刀但是記得還回漁業局。

Adoro este Lugar Muito.Com um quarto Muito limpo e espaçoso, havia um banheiro e banheiro amigável para idosos (temos outro banheiro com banheiro).
A cozinha está bem equipada, o lago é Muito bonito.
Jetty para verrugas apenas a pé (1km). Muitos restaurantes e supermercados também a pé (1-1.5km). Você só Pode estacionar o SEU carro no apartamento e andar lentamente Ao Longo do lago para desfrutar Da cena incrível.

Please inform customers before you change the rooms for them. I had booked mine for the bath, then you gave me a different room on arrival, not even explaining why you had to change the rooms. So I had to see staff at the reception again after checking to sort it out. In the end, i got the room with the bath.I am sorry to say that your place smelt musty that is not right for accommodation for the health and safety reasons. I have also found mould in the bathroom you might want to look at. Hope all gets sorted soon. Thanks. Best.

The hotel is perfectly situated right on the lake, boasting fantastic, unobstructed views. Although it's classified as a motel, it felt much more like a star-rated hotel. Free parking is provided, and the glow-worm boat departure point is within easy walking distance. Generally, the hotels lining the lakeside appear to be of comparable quality.

Небольшой, но уютный домик , кровать удобная, белье чистое, было очень комфортно. На общей кухне есть всё самое необходимое для приготовления пищи. Общие душевые и туалеты чистые. Есть зона для отдыха и настольных игр, также есть отдельная зона с настольным теннисом. Расположение отличное - прямо на берегу озера, виды превосходные! Персонал очень приветливый и дружелюбный!

GGuest UserNice stay at Aden Motel. It’s a small, family-run business, but everything was clean and well-equipped. Although there’s no lake view, the motel is very close to the lake, which was great. The kitchen and living area were spacious and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.

HHickeyThe room was small being disappointing from other good IBIS Hotels have had bigger. In this case the ceiling had mould which is not good at all being left there. I should have asked to change rooms but stayed in it with little window viewing as well along with ventilation. The hallway stinks of cooked Indian food they need to put in air fresheners to take that bad ordour away. The staff were friendly and amenities were very plentiful. Suggest to have bigger bowls and cups being very little to eat from. Car parking is a problem at this place either on the street paying for it from 8:00am to 5:00pm or over in a mall car park for $10.00 a night. So factor that in if staying here. Better to get a place that provides it as it was a hassle to be up at 8:00am to go downstairs and pay for this each morning. Overall for money and value feel could have done better else where.

The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax.
One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay.
Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

AAnonymous UserInitially, I was hesitant to book this hotel, thinking it might be a motel. But I really couldn't find any other hotels available. Upon closer inspection, I realized this room type was great: two bedrooms – one with a king bed, one with a queen, plus bunk beds. It was more than enough space. The environment was lovely, and we even had a little cat visit us!

GGuest UserWe got a basic cabin (our room didnt have a personal ref. other rooms beside ours had one.
Overall, our stay was great (we even got to see the clear sky with stars in the evening from the camping ground). The shared toilet is great-- clean and with many stalls; also has hair blower available). The shared kitchen is busy during peak hours-- you might want to bring your own pan or pot since the ”nicer” ones are usually being used.

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at Kingsgate hotel in Te anau. We were greeted with cheerful manager and check-in was smooth. The location is great as it is right opposite lake and it is about 2.5 hrs from Milford sound.
The room was spacious and nice. Did not get to try their dinner or breakfast. Would have preferred if the bathroom had some ventilation as it could smell for some time.
Would definitely stay there again in future.

GGuest UserThe main reason to go to Invercargill is to check in at the world's southernmost Starbucks. Etc. The hotel parking lot is in the public parking lot diagonally opposite. You need to register your license plate at the front desk before you can park, but it is free. There is a shopping mall in Invercargill and the world's southernmost Starbucks near the hotel. There is also a Queen's Park to visit. The town is not big and not crowded and very quiet.

The toilet is convenient for elderly.
Well-equipped kitchen with nice dining/living room that we can have meals while enjoying the scenery.
Restaurants and shops just in walking distance (1km). Jetty to glowworms also within walking distance.
