Lmh TiffPros:
* Great location at a great price, very close to shopping areas. There is a 7-Eleven right next door, and it is easy to book an Uber. The bus stop is also only about 30 meters away.
* Automatic check-in and check-out, which is very efficient and convenient.
Overall: 8/10
* The room is quite spacious.
* Plenty of power outlets in the room, which is very convenient.
Cons:
* The room is quite old, and the paint on the door was already peeling off.
* They use a very strong diffuser scent in the public areas, which I found quite unpleasant.
* No bath towels were provided; they only offered one size of towel.

Generally good commmnents for Astar hotel. Not far from airport (around 3KM), Taxi to downtown and restaurant streest is more convenient (around 20-30 RMB). My daughter likes breakfast because of fresh orange juice, korean dishes, reheating bread and sausages. Like looking smiles everyday from waiters and waitress of restaurant.
It's clean and efficient for room service everyday; front desk service also quite good, quick check in and out, I always see the looks GM sir walks around at loobby and restaurnt saying hello to guests in the early morning. I appreciate this atmosphere in Jeju trip.

BolanaidaFor my first trip to Jeju, I opted for a branded hotel, which was very convenient as it's located in the city center, right above Lotte Duty Free, and close to the airport. This saved a lot of travel time, especially on the way back when there were long delays for check-in, baggage drop, and security at the airport.
The hotel breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety.
I stayed in a sea view room this time, and it was great; I even had the good fortune to see a double rainbow 🌈.
Very satisfied, highly recommend.

Guest UserThe room floor was quite dirty and sticky to walk on. The bathroom mirror and crevices were also dirty. Everything had a charge, no complimentary water. The exterior environment was very nice, with large green spaces and woods. The pool was good, but it cost money to use, and parents with children had to be present and also pay. Even the lounge chairs had a fee, which was my biggest complaint. The location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free, and there are many delicious restaurants and cosmetic shops nearby.

Guest UserFirst, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations.
Now, for the pros:
1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance).
2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes.
3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English.
4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious.
5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport.
Areas for improvement:
1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them).
2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better.
Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

The Hide City was a comfortable place to stay that is less than 15 minutes from the airport via taxi. There was a washing machine and a place to cook if you chose to. There is also a place to store your luggage before you check in. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would consider staying here again if I go to Jeju City.

alwayflyingWe stayed in Jeju for an 8-day, 7-night vacation, 5 nights at Parnas and 2 nights at Marriott. Our whole family preferred Parnas. The Parnas pool is huge, and breakfast is abundant with a rotating menu every three days, so even after five days, we didn't get tired of it. We booked a club suite, and the executive lounge food also had a rotating menu every three days, so our family loved going there every evening for some food and drinks. Parnas has plenty of public seating for guests to relax, and the staff are very professional and warm. After check-out, I quickly received an email from Parnas surveying satisfaction across various aspects, showing their dedication to service and focus on customer experience.
Marriott, despite being the most expensive hotel in Jeju, was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was exactly the same every day with no variety. The brunch, while plentiful, was also identical on both days, which would definitely get monotonous if staying longer. Plus, the Marriott's layout is a bit complicated and involves a lot of walking around. If anyone is torn between Parnas and Marriott, I'd definitely recommend Parnas; it's more satisfying in all aspects. The welcome fruit and wine at Parnas felt much more thoughtful compared to Marriott's three oranges and a snack box.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. There's a 7-Eleven on the second floor of the building, and a bus stop right outside. You can get here from the airport on bus 600 or 601, it's just one stop away. A 24-hour pork backbone soup restaurant and Olive Young are just a few steps downstairs, and a CU convenience store is across the street. The room is clean and comfortable, and you can see the sea from the window.

Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market.
If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.
