"We had a truly wonderful stay at Kashikojima Hojoen. The Japanese-style hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and the dinner was absolutely fantastic — a full Japanese-style meal experience that was both refined and satisfying.
The facilities are reasonably maintained, and the highlight for us was the outdoor onsen — incredibly relaxing, peaceful, and enjoyable. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this ryokan/resort to anyone visiting the Ise–Shima area for a true Japanese experience."

"Spectacular view of the ocean... a bit difficult to find this hotel as it was up on a slope (wasn't expecting that) and likely because I was driving in the dark. Signs were kind of hard to see. Beautiful hotel, buffet dinner and breakfast were good."

"We were quite happy with the hotel, which was fairly new and service staff were very helpful. While preparing my toast, a staff came back again to offer a tray. The common area was fairly adequate with a lot of seating, access to a microwave, small stove and fridge. As an added bonus, there is aluminium foil and plastic wrap available.
Room size was decent, and the design of the layout was good.
The hotel seems to be in the middle of nowhere, and it was noticed staff were extra careful to explain with the restaurants nearby."

The changing room, shower room, and balcony
open-air bath were all connected, which was great.
The air purifier and the corners of the room were a little rough, but it wasn't too bad.
The staff were very helpful and polite when I checked in!
There were some shops open until around 10 PM, so I could go for a walk even after relaxing at the hotel!
I couldn't go this time, so I'll save it for next time. (T_T)
I was shocked that the room service I ordered was cold.
The room didn't have a microwave, which was a problem! The food was delicious!! There was also a snack and drink set that looked delicious!

TTravelbugXIf you’re looking for an authentic ryokan experience with modern comfort, Shiojitei is an exceptional choice. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed. The staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to help, creating a level of service that truly stands out.
The rooms were beautifully maintained, combining traditional Japanese elements with contemporary comfort. One of the highlights was definitely the Pearl Aurora Onsen, which was incredibly relaxing and left my skin feeling amazingly smooth. The complimentary welcome tea and cheesecake, along with the evening marshmallow roasting by the lobby, were thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special.
Both dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations. Every course was beautifully presented, featuring fresh local ingredients and refined flavours that made each meal feel like a special occasion. Dining in a peaceful, private setting made the experience even more memorable.
The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service from Toba Station, making it easy to reach despite its tranquil location. Overall, Shiojitei perfectly balances traditional Japanese hospitality, excellent cuisine, and a relaxing atmosphere. It was one of the most memorable stays of my trip, and I would gladly return on my next visit to the Ise-Shima region.

WWilliam HT SiuI had a wonderful stay at Suzuka Circuit Hotel. The room was clean, neat, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a full day of activities.
One of the biggest advantages is the location — close to the theme park, which is incredibly convenient, especially for families with children.
The dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of choices available. Breakfast was particularly impressive, offering something for everyone and a great start to the day.
Another highlight was the free parking, which made the whole trip much more convenient and stress-free.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Suzuka, especially those planning to spend time at the circuit or theme park.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience.
What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality.
If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

AAnonymous UserWe used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating.
The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day.
Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar.

GGuest UserIt's a clean and nice hotel. However, the bathrobe-style loungewear is easy to come undone, and the knot hurts when you lie down, which is annoying. It's quite stressful for someone who has come from far away and is tired and finally arrives at the hotel. I look forward to the future.
The staff's service is polite and elegant, and the location is very close to the station, so I would like to use it again in the future.
Personally, I don't think it's necessary to serve customers with masks. I remember that the WHO also announced that masks are not effective for either coronavirus or influenza. Japan is the only country that is lagging behind in wearing masks, and it has become part of the etiquette at work, but it's scary to serve customers without seeing their faces.

GGuest UserDuring my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks.
One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness.
Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel.
Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay.
In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

アアイドルOur room, complete with an open-air bath, allowed us to truly relax and forget about our daily lives. The water temperature and the view were wonderful, making our stay a great pleasure. The hotel was clean and meticulously appointed, providing a comfortable environment.
A large bee unexpectedly appeared during our stay, but the staff responded quickly and courteously, allowing us to continue our stay with peace of mind. Their sincere attitude gave us a deep sense of security and a strong sense of hospitality.
The food was also incredibly delicious, and each dish made use of seasonal ingredients, and I savored the warmth. The seasoning was exquisite and the food was visually stunning, making us look forward to mealtime.
The staff were always warm and attentive, making our entire stay truly comfortable. We would like to express our gratitude once again. This hotel offers a wonderful experience, and is a place we will definitely return to.
