An absolutely amazing hotel!! It's located directly opposite the JR station, which is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly convenient!!! The surrounding amenities are super handy, and the room was spacious, clean, tidy, comfortable, and warm. This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Japan. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, especially the crab roe which was incredibly sweet and fresh. I genuinely love this hotel, highly recommend it!

This place is value for money. With a large public bath and sauna area ideal for the winter climate, it is such a big deal. There’s also a restaurant inside that offers an affordable meal, but it is only open from the afternoon to midnight. You can stay at the hostel the whole day if you want. And one of the things I like about this hostel is the view from the outside, where you can see streetcars passing by. Amenities are on point. Overall, the location, amenities, and cost are advantages of this hotel.

The environment and amenities were excellent! I really enjoyed my stay. Our family room had a balcony with a beautiful sea view, and the morning sun streaming in was absolutely lovely and comfortable. Plus, there's a hot spring to relax in.
The kitchen was incredibly convenient, with fully equipped cooking facilities including pots, pans, plates, and cutlery. My only suggestion would be to provide dish soap.
The front desk had a young man, who I believe was *********, who was super nice! He was very gentle and polite, answered all our questions, and gave great recommendations! Truly fantastic! I would definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Hakodate.

The hotel was really clean and in a great location!! Most of the attractions are within walking distance, except Goryokaku Tower, which also can easily reach by bus~ It’s also super close to the bus station, so getting around was very convenient. And the breakfast was really good!!! Me and my mom like it✌🏻💙💙💙

Who would've thought our last night in Hokkaido, at an airport hotel, would be the best night? The room was huge with a direct view of the planes from the window. All the snacks and drinks in the room were complimentary. There's a hot spring and the facilities are very modern. Breakfast at the hotel costs extra, and the food selection wasn't as extensive as I expected. However, it's super convenient as the check-in C counter is right on the third-floor lobby exit of the hotel.

We went to Noboribetsu and left our luggage at the hotel for one night, then came back to stay again. Unfortunately, we didn't get the same treatment as our previous stay because it was the weekend and the hotel was almost full, so we didn't get a room upgrade. We stayed in a compact twin room where we couldn't fully open our suitcases at the same time, but considering the room rate, it was acceptable. Staying at Keihan always feels small but cozy.

The room was nice, and check-in was smooth at the front desk on the second floor. It was very convenient that the front desk had self-service amenities like toiletries, pajamas, and an ice machine. However, there were some hairs under the mattress, so the cleanliness could be improved.

Traveled with friends and we were very happy with the hotel; it was conveniently located for getting everywhere. Hakodate's million-dollar night view is definitely worth seeing. The hotel is also very close to Hakodate Station, and the onsen was great – a really comfortable stay.

Beyond expectations! I booked this hotel specifically for the breakfast, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The fresh, all-you-can-eat seafood was absolutely amazing.
The only minor drawbacks were its distance from the station and the quiet surroundings. We visited during the off-season, and the streets were quite deserted when we walked back to the hotel at night.

For a Japanese hotel, the room size is quite spacious. The location is excellent and very convenient, with a subway station right at the entrance and the airport shuttle stop directly across the street. The outdoor scenery is also beautiful, with a large park perfect for taking photos and playing in the snow.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel for a special stay for our Christmas Day abroad and it did not disappoint. The rooms are cozy, spacious and quiet with very comfy beds. We appreciated the entry way with the closet and shoe rack. We also appreciated the shower with great pressure, the large sink counter and the Japanese style toilet. There was also a good amount of toiletries provided. We had Japanese style pajamas, slippers for the room, sandals to go around the hotel in and even slippers specifically for the toilet area. The room has a large TV and you can connect to it with an HDMI cable or screencast but we could not figure out how to screencast. The hotel primarily caters to Japanese so the important stuff was in English but the little things like the remote control and temperature control were not.
We booked our stay with the buffet dinner and breakfast and for our stay it seems that all the greatest hits for Japanese cuisine were out. For dinner they had a steak grilling station, a BBQ scallop station, a sushi chef, crab dumplings and all kinds of accompaniments. For the dessert they had an array of tasty sweets but we enjoyed the macarons and Hokkaido ice cream the most. The breakfast was equally fantastic with a miso soup station, all kinds of sashimi, black pork dumplings, fried chicken and all kinds of crowd pleasers. There is a juice station and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of drinks so we were very pleased with the meals. We appreciated the plates and small dishes that allowed for small portions so we could pretty much try everything. Some items at the buffet did run out and these were specifically the small dishes - it is worth going early for breakfast and dinner because some items are not replenished and I found quite a few of these very delicious!
There isn't much around the hotel other than a 7-11 and a small botanical garden across the bridge but it is definitely a hotel meant to stay in and enjoy. We went to the onsen at night and in the morning and really enjoyed the outdoor bath which was sea facing. At night you could hear the waves and see the stars and during the day you could enjoy the beach and mountain view. The onsen baths have a variety of temperature pools and saunas and good bath products. There is a machine that dispenses a few pop flavours, cold tea and mineral water in the change room. There was a variety of self care products available in the change rooms as well like toothbrushes and razors.
Our room was very cozy after our bath and we found that the temperature for the hotel was possibly centrally controlled and not adjustable according to Google translation. It was set at a balmy 24 but we did figure out how to turn it off and got a comfortable night's rest. I wasn't a big fan of the hard toothbrushes that were provided mainly because the toothbrush used a coating rather than toothpaste which makes them truly single use.
The hotel offers quite a few amenities outside of the onsen area but the onsen was the highlight for us. They have a lounge area with lots of seats looking out to the sea near the front desk, a separate restaurant from the buffet restaurant, a souvenir shop that sells drinks too and luggage storage. We aren't sure if there are multiple floors with laundry machines but the one laundry room we did find only had one machine so this might not be a hotel to do your laundry at.
The hotel is easily accessible from both the train station and airport. From the train station you can take a bus or the tram which would take about 30 minutes and from the airport there are some dedicated busses that will take about 15 minutes. The bus station and tram station closest to the hotel is Yunokawa Onsen.
This was a great stay for us and we felt one night here was perfect. There is a lot to see in Hakodate and had we stayed longer we would have chosen a more economical option but this truly was a special treat for us.

The ground floor has a kitchen, a dining area, and a backyard area. The upper floor is a bedroom with a large window for sleeping and watching the snow. If you go in the winter, you have to push your luggage in a cart yourself. It's fun. The atmosphere around the accommodation is good, but it's more suitable for people with cars because it's quite far from the city.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to Odori Park and Susukino commercial district, making sightseeing and shopping incredibly convenient. The rooms are modernly designed with expansive views, and the bedding comfort is top-notch. The front desk staff are fluent in English and proactively offered maps and transportation advice, providing thoughtful and professional service. The breakfast selection is extensive, featuring both Japanese and Western options. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is an ideal choice for an efficient and comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back.

LLern ChongWe faced major comfort problems unique to this establishment. Having stayed in six different hotels during our trip, this was the only one that presented these issues.
The primary problem was the temperature control. Despite setting the room to a cool 18^{\circ}\text{C}, the room remained stiflingly hot. Staff explained that the system was set to heat for the winter, leaving guests without adequate cooling control. We were forced to request a standing fan just to achieve a bearable sleeping environment.
Furthermore, we both experienced significant itchiness while sleeping on the bed. This is unacceptable and suggests a concerning issue with the bedding or mattress hygiene

GGuest UserWe had a really fantastic time at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort which was a once in a lifetime experience for us. The area is beautiful and the spa has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxing stay. We stayed in a Premier Suite and the rooms are fantastic - fully equipped and spacious with all amenities, and a fantastic private Onsen to relax in.The staff at the spa were extremely friendly and helpful, and attentive to all of our needs. We'd love to come back some time and would highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near Hakodate JR Station, making it easy to reach attractions by bus or tram. They also offer a free shuttle service to Goryokaku and the Red Brick Warehouses. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room size was decent, and there's a communal water dispenser, plus you can boil water in your room. The onsen (hot spring) bath is quite unique with its yellowish-brown water, and the outdoor bath is excellent. Another highlight is the second-floor common area, which features information about Hakodate's historical sites. It's a great spot for friends to gather for tea or to relax after a hot spring soak. There's even an outdoor heater. Breakfast offers a good selection of seafood, and despite being busy, it was well-organized.

The hotel's decor beautifully reflects the local culture. They offer complimentary ice cream and an open bar with free-flowing drinks. Both breakfast and dinner feature carefully selected local ingredients; while portions aren't huge, they are incredibly refined and exquisite.

The scenery was breathtaking. It was one of those places you never want to check out of. They even offered complimentary snacks upon departure, and the bar had a wide selection of food in the evening. Strolling in the snow after dinner was also beautiful.

GGuest UserThe hotel, the room, and the bathroom were all spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were also very accommodating. It was a huge plus to have a washing machine in the room with a drying rack by the window for my kids' clothes. The sun was out, so everything dried quickly. The microwave was also incredibly useful for warming up baby food. Having a water dispenser on every floor was great because I could make formula milk without having to boil water. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, but the curry was especially good. The restaurant staff were also quick to provide a high chair for my child, which was appreciated. I'd definitely like to stay at this hotel again.
