The hotel was so lovely, clean excellent food, location was beautiful-I had an injury and the staff ensured I was well looked after and went above and beyond - family run hotel with staff that are exemplary!

Shared dormitory doesn't fit ”deluxe” category: no towel, no safe box, no A/C control available by default.
Good things are: kettle, friedge in the room. TV may be important for some guests.
Breakfast was minimal, no tea nor coffee.
Kitchen is good, interior of the house is beautiful.
Close to the coast and the local public transportation station.
Nice stay, in current setup feels as overpriced.

巴巴多斯，布里奇頓，今天坐小巴兩人7本地刀去市中心議會大廈及市場轉了一圈，沿途海灘很美，加勒比海都藍，旅遊基礎設施薄弱，遠不如三亞、泰國布吉蘇梅島、馬蘭西亞檳城，新加坡，跟斐濟差不多，高檔酒店多！坐郵輪到此一遊可以，專門來，不如去墨西哥！英美人喜歡是因為這是他們的殖民地，穿的很英國，雷鬼音樂文化對東亞沒什麼吸引力，希望快點飛出去！
這家酒店不錯，門口就是大路，去哪都OK！

O hotel Dover Beach é UMA escolha de meia-série muito adequada.As quartos são grandes e limpas de Alta qualidade e as instalações estão EM conformidade com um hotel de meia-size.Encontramos o pessoal de recepção Na principal personalidade e amigável. A localização do Lawrence Gap e do aeroporto é boa, MAS um carro é aconselhável se você quiser visitar o Lado Oeste Da ilha.
Tudo o que pensamos é que gostamos de nossa estadia curta neste hotel.

O Hotel Maxwell del Mar estava confortável e posicionado, e tínhamos tudo o que precisamos e ficaria lá de novo. Embora o restaurante e o bar estejam abertos apenas no fim de semana, há muitos outros excelentes estabelecimentos muito próximos. A sala também está bem equipada com um frigorífico, microondas e cozinha, para que você possa se acomodar se você quiser uma noite.A praia local, que é incrível, é a Maxwell Beach e é apenas um passeio muito curto do hotel.

BBarbs1406The hotel is located on st Lawrence gap which has a few clubs and restaurants. It can get quite noisy at night. If you opt for the sea view apartment you are less likely to hear the club on the opposite side of the road. The room itself is great, there is a kitchen where you can cook your breakfast and make tea, a working tap, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave. The balcony and the view is lovely. Woke up each morning looking out onto the blue water and blue skies! I went with my friend and so we had a double bed each which is very comfortable. The shower is a bit slow with water but if you run it for 3-4 minutes the water will get warm. We didn’t opt for the breakfast so cannot comment on what the food is like.
Overall positive, my only complaint is beware when ordering taxi they quote in US dollars and not Barbadian dollars. The female receptionist misled me despite me asking her twice is the price quoted Barbadian dollar and she said yes. Then when we finished the taxi ride we were told it was in US dollar and not Barbadian dollars. I think that is a fundamental error by the receptionist and cost me unnecessarily. For that the hotel did not deserve a 5 star.
In terms of location it is good but expect noise as you are directly opposite a nightclub called halo that is very noisy at the weekends especially the dj and his microphone shouting into it.
The island is very small so everything is not far. It is worth hiring a car to get around the island otherwise the taxi fare will be expensive. A taxi fare from at Lawrence gap to the north of the island would cost you 120 Barbadian dollars one way.
The hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and private chill out area and a restaurant to order drinks.
Would I stay here again? Yes I think i would stay here again.

RRebeccaB48The hotel is in a great location, right opposite lovely Rockley beach and close to many restaurants.There's also a supermarket nearby. Staff are lovely and very helpful. They will help arrange excursions and have good recommendations for local restaurants.
My room was very comfortable and quiet and the balcony is a lovely place to sit to watch the world by. I also had a pleasant drink in the bar one afternoon and the wine was excellent (South African chenin blanc).
I heard no noise at all from either other rooms or the street, and the aircon was pretty quiet.
Breakfast was adequate for me as I'm not a huge breakfast eater but some may find the choice and variety rather limited. The granola was very tastynand fresh eggs can be cooked on request.
The only negative was that there was no hot water from the shower for the short duration of my stay which was disappointing (I did let it run for several minutes as advised by front desk).
Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

DDeniz CaymazOn arrival i had problem with incorrect bed size as per my reservation. The gentelman in reception and the gentelman who show me the alternative rooms were very kind and caring. Some more issues happened to: such as giving the wrong card for the room, had to come back and fix again. Dirty towels left in the room, fixed quickly. No water was available, that was fixed too. Although it sound bad, It did not bother me much. They were quick on actioning. Then, i have been told there were a mistake for the room again, i actually had the correct room reserved for me from the begining. But i was happy with the room i had, so, i did not change it. One thing i can say the water does not have enough pressure in the tab and shower head. These were some negative parts. Besides these, hotel generally very clean, AC working well, no flies or bugs or mosquitos. I would recommend this hotel for all, only possible registeration issues you might face.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Southern Palms Beach Club (beach-view suite). The suite was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a kitchen with all the basic essentials and two bathrooms—making it incredibly convenient. While the interior had a more traditional, older style, everything was impeccably clean. What really made our stay exceptional was the staff. Their attentiveness and consistently positive attitude created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. The vibe of the entire resort was laid-back and friendly, perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. A special highlight was the live music performances on some nights, which added a festive and memorable touch to our stay. Enjoying great music with the ocean breeze in the background made those evenings truly magical.

GGuest UserMy stay at Melrose Apartments was nothing short of wonderful! The staff went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant experience. They were incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting me with printing some documents I needed, which made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.
The apartment's is well equipped with everything you might need, including a full kitchen for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—very central, with a grocery store conveniently close by.
What makes this place truly magical, though, is the beach right behind the property. Watching the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from there was an unforgettable highlight of my trip.
I highly recommend Melrose Apartments to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and scenic place to stay!

JJess McAuleyThe location was brilliant. Right on accra beach which in my opinion was the best beach in barbados. Just down the end of the beach you had the tiki bar, sells great food and cocktails. Location was close to st Lawrence gap and not too far from oistins which was an amazing experience for the fish friday.
Service wasn't great so only decided to eat at the hotel once. Took us an hour and a half to get our food! Others in the restaurant were complaining about the service too. Other than that they provided me with a spare room to shower and change at 6pm when I had already checked out at 12 which I was quite shocked and grateful for. All in all I really enjoyed my stay and kind of used the hotel for location and it's amazing beach.

GGuest UserThe Hotel Maxwell del Mar was very comfortable and extremely well positioned. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay there again. Although the restaurant and bar are only open over the weekend, there are plenty of excellent other establishments very close by. Also the room is well equipped with a fridge, microwave oven and kettle so you can provide for yourself if you want a night in. The local beach, which is stunning, is Maxwell Beach and is only a very short walk from the hotel.
