The Buyan Inn is a great place to stay in order to fully experience Dapeng’s old town. My partner and I stayed in a loft suite which was a great experience as it felt like you were surrounded by history. The room was beautiful, cosy and artistic. The location is a short walk to the seaside and is within the shops, bars and restaurants of the old town. The hotel itself has a lovely bar and restaurant. The host at the Buyan Inn was incredibly helpful. I received a call from them the day before our trip was scheduled requesting my WeChat in order to offer help getting to the hotel. The host speaks good English and nothing was too much trouble for him. He provided us with extra shower stuff, water and supplies when we needed it. We would recommend the hotel and the loft suite room to anyone wanting to experience Dapeng old town, particularly the loft suite room for couples.

It's my first time to stay in a homestay in Jiaochangwei. It has a Zen Chinese style and is quite cozy. The store manager also provides very good service. He picked us up at the store. The Blue Coast is our favorite homestay. There is a sightseeing car transfer. The public area and rooms of the whole homestay are clean and tidy. The sisters and aunts at the front desk are warm and loving and smiling, like family members. Breakfast is rich, there are coffee, milkshakes, and delicious. The location and scenery are so good. It’s the beach when you go out. After catching the sea, you go directly back to the room to take a hot bath and sit on the balcony to see the sea view blowing the sea breeze. I am so happy.
