Located in the center of the city on the main road. It is about a 5-minute walk from the train station. But the view of the Matterhorn peak cannot be seen from the room. The restaurant on the ground floor has good taste and is authentic Swiss food. Breakfast has many options to choose from. Fresh fruit smoothies are very delicious.

This hotel offers a decent location, although it requires a bit of a walk from Zermatt train station. I was charged for an additional 288 Swiss FR for “additional guest”. when I checked out. only because I did not put My Son’s name when I did the booking, but I booked a twin room and my son naturally stay with me. not to mention he’s my 13 year old son. they can charge me for additional breakfast. That’s totally OK. but additional person for twin room?really? And Main thing I was not told I will be charged when I checked in. That is not fair I will reflect this to Swiss tourism office. Btw. The staff are 100% good. Very friendly but I am sickened by the strange policy.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in during my trip to Switzerland. Take the train from zermtt and get off at Riffleberg station. After informing the hotel front desk in advance, someone will help you with your luggage. The reservation includes two meals, and the food is good. The room is very big, on the top floor, and has no balcony. (There are balconies on the lower floors, but the hotel says they are higher-class rooms.) We love the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony of our room gave us a clear view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is easily accessible from the Zermatt train station and the Town centre . We loved the room allocated and found it extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was pretty extensive. Staff was really pleasant and helpful at all time. Our receptionist even escorted us to the room by stairs because their lift was not functional when we checked in. The only regret was that we were unable to utilise the sauna and swimming pool facilities due to time constraints. Will highly recommend the hotel to those who are looking for value for money stays whilst in Zermatt.
