We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

I booked a 5 star hotel to ensure there are the full facilities. When I arrived the pool and gym were under maintenance. I complained to Trip as they and the hotel should inform guests of this when they book. When Trip raised this with the hotel, the hotel refused to offer any level of compensation. So for this reason, they receive a low score. I also told Trip they need to change their T&C’s.

This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

Nice touch of hospitality from the manager ibu Chandra. I can confirm the service extremely friendly and personalized. Smooth check in process by the reception Nilam. She greet us with warm smile eventhough we arrived in the evening. We got comfy room as requested. Clean room and the best view of Malioboro. Location was good. Just next to Malioboro street. But it’s alittle noisy as it’s not a very tall floor hotel. Need to get hairdryer from reception. Toilet was big and only shampoo provided. Toiletries pack include toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap. Towel was old, better bring own towel if fussy about it. Pillow and quilt was pretty old. Overall, value for money!

We stayed at this Novotel because of rave reviews mostly in Google and other sites that Malioboro street is “the place” in Jogja. But don’t expect much if you are an international /western tourist. I will write a separate review on Malioboro Street next. This review is about Novotel. It is a nice hotel. An ideal location to get started in Jogja if you’ve never been here before. We arrived late on our first night, which means we had only 1 full day in this area, which we found is more than enough in this area. I will explain why in my Malioboro Street review. We like everything about this hotel. The staff, the service, the room, the rooftop bar and swimming pool located on level 10. The best is the price. Great value for money for the 2 nights inclusive buffet breakfast, which was 2,555,501 rupiah booked through Accor. But don’t expect much from the buffet breakfast. It was limited in choice. Mostly cater for Indonesian. Good enough for a short stay.

A recommended hotel for holidays in Jogja because of its strategic location. Located in Malioboro. Connected to Plaza Malioboro. The staff is friendly, the security is helpful. Although the rooms are not very big, they are clean, aesthetic and modern in design. Likewise with the bathroom. The amenities for this 3 star hotel class are very complete. There is a bathrobe, a hair dryer and a mini refrigerator. There is a swimming pool on the rooftop, there is a restaurant with delicious food and there is also a bar with a nice view, you can see the atmosphere around Malioboro. Affordable price, not expensive.

Choosing Grage ramayana hotel as a place to stay when being in jojja (jl. Malioboro) is the right choice, a comfortable hotel to rest when cape after a whole day of traveling around tourist attractions in jojja and central. One of the points when staying in the grage is that there is no need to worry about finding food at night, because there are many walking vendors selling food around the hotel, starting from the s/d cafes, the hotel location near the bicycle rental. motorbikes and cars (lk. 200 m), and many travels that offer tours around joja can offer points plus hotels. Strategic hotel is only within 1. lk. 150 s/d 200 m from malioboro road, 2. Lk. 300 m from yogya tugu station 3. Lk. 350 m from vandrberg fort, the presidential palace of yoga. Varied breakfast and many menus (flavor matter depends on taste) Room: large, clean, cold air conditioner, water heater ok Staff: friendly, informant, and responsive. Overall, this is one of the recommended accommodation places around jl. Malio boro yogyakarta.

Best accommodation for 1 or 2 people. If you had a packer lodge outside of Indonesia, you would only have to stay there. The facility is very new because it's a new building. There are plenty of sofas and tables that are well maintained, clean and have a cup of tea or a bottle of beer. The bathroom shower is shared, but I've never been waiting in line. The bed is capsule type so it's private. I don't know the faces of travelers in the same room. Staff are good at English and friendly. I'm local college students. I applied for a jomblang tour and the article came late. Thanks to my friend who kept checking on the phone. One of our staff recently fell in love with IKON, so K-pop often comes out of the lobby. In Jakarta, I also attended Grabta all the time, and it's just located on Malioboro Street, so it's great for exploring or dining. If you check in, we will give you two pamphlets. The price is not much different from other travel agencies, and the contents are similar. The reception and payment were easy, so both Jomblang and Sunrise tours were done through the property. It's much better than a guest house in Korea for 2 ~ 30,000 won per night. If you are a Yogyakarta traveler or backpacker or not a hotel, this is a good choice! Claen and Good position (Street Malioboro). kindly Stuff, airy bed. Good for you.
