Deadvlei
燃燃烧生命的小胖妞Namibia's Death Valley is located in a white depression in Sossusvlei. There is no grass growing in it and no signs of life, hence the name. Death Valley was not always so dead. More than 900 years ago, there were rivers and lush vegetation here. Unfortunately, something happened later, and sand dunes moved here, blocking the river. In addition, due to climate change and no rainfall for many years, the trees and grass here quickly died.
Independence Museum
MM32***23【Scenery】Spend 1-2 hours learning about Namibia's country, history, wildlife and many other interesting facts.
【Fun】The museum is well organized and we think it is well worth a visit
National Museum of Namibia: Owela Display Centre
MM32***23We arranged the visit and we were on a very tight budget. We went during the free entry time at 6:00pm and we arrived to a long line, at least 400 meters long, we entered without any trouble and started to enjoy one of the largest world art galleries. The museum is huge with many different pavilions and lots of sculptures on the art filled walls and the best works are all here
St Mary's Catholic Cathedral Church
MM32***23【View】We visited this church, one of the most beautiful churches we have seen so far. The details and stained glass are breathtaking. It is free, but please donate to help restore
Christuskirche
MM32***23【View】Christuskirche The church is located in the middle of the roundabout. It is a beautiful building. It is the starting point for city tours around the museum and the nearby Capitol.
TransNamib Museum
TtravelerererNamibia's Quiver Tree Manor has one of the most beautiful starry skies in the world, with the Milky Way visible to the naked eye. It was really cold at night, so a few people squatted in a pile of rocks for 2 hours and took over a starry sky!
Joe's Beerhouse
MM32***23This place is a great place for everyone, we parked in our overland safari park in a group of nine people. The food was very good, the variety was great, especially the wild, and the price was reasonable, the layout and decoration made it the most memorable, even in the menu, it described the story behind some of the items you found in it, including the cars on display! It was fun, quirky and not to be missed!
Alte Feste
MM32***23We performed with the Royal Philharmonic and the Royal Ballet Birmingham on “Tchaikovsky Beauty”. It was fantastic and perfect for the wonderful place RAL. On the hour side, with its unique architectural style, its interiors are even more surprising, with classic decor, circular display areas and striking lighting. Choosing a program to watch and watch the house is well worth the work, with the audience, the audience (no platoon) and the lighting aspects. The agenda has a variety of flavors on the show. There are tours that show the interior of the house but we didn’t go. But it also has to be very interesting. Beautiful place. Definitely worth it!
