Sarah Dacey 1/5 a week ago on Google This place should be shut down. Upon your arrival you are instantly locked out as this is not a manned place. I can’t even call it a Hotel. You literally have to wait for somebody to let you in, Within an hour if you’re lucky. The room!!! My god. I’ve had better camping trips. On opening the room door (after a 50 minute wait outside and a 5 hour drive ) we were met with a dirty quilt left rolled up on a disgustingly dirty bed ( hair and filth all over it ). There were wet used towels and dirty bedding left on the side table. No one was available to do anything about it. They do not cook breakfast ( not that I would eat there ) so that’s a complete lie and you’re paying for it. The blinds on the windows have been fitted by Stevie Wonder and don’t open or close. The place is run down and generally filthy. The water is constantly freezing cold and your unable to shower. Even the electric was off. So at times we had cold water with no electricity. The owner is the most disgusting and rude person I’ve ever met and will not converse or do anything about your situation. PLEASE DON’T BOOK HERE. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. !!! It’s vile and unsafe. I paid £800 for an executive room for 7 days to be close to my partner who had an operation in a local hospital. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. You will be ignored by anyone that occasionally works there. A DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE!!! The 1 stars I have given it are actually minus 10 and more. 1 star is way too good for the place. The worst hotel stay I have experienced! Arrived after a hectic day at work only to be greeted by the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. I travel and stay in London on a weekly basis and have never experienced customer service like it. Receptionist was agrresive in attitude and demanded a cash payment of £100 on entering the hotel. I explained I had paid in adance in full via booking.com with no notification at time of booking that a deposit would be required. Rudely demanded of photo ID and notified a charge of £250 would be taken for evidence of drug use. I am a professional business customer and this was so poorly judged by staff. I was told I was emailed on booking that cash deposit of £100 would be demanded on booking 2 weeks prior. Communication was provided on the day at 9.00am via booking.com email and was not seen due to being at work. Was told I should walk to a cash point in the rain with little direction as to where the nearest cash point was. It was pouring with rain, getting dark and I was a lone female customer. Receptionist replied that she was happy to cancel my booking if I preferred . The day of the queen's return to buckingham Palace with no chance of securing an alternative hotel. After returning with the cash I was given a key card with no holder with room number on. I made my way to my room after clarifying room number twice, staff area doors in corridors left open exposing dirty laundry, key card device broken off door, semen stains on wall, public hair on top of bed sheets. Mortified, so much so I didn't get under the sheets for fear of what I would find. Tried to have a wash to find the shower gel had been topped up 3 quarters with water from a previous guest. Worst stay of my life!!! Unsafe and should be closed down!!

View is what sold it here other than that for a 5star hotel it's more like a 3star pushing onto a 4 star the whole inside / reception & hallways really needs renovating they have holes in the carpets and some graffiti on the walls , the room I booked (Thames premier deluxe room) had an amazing view which is what made the room worth the money but interior was outdated also there was just holes in the ceiling / walls & the woodwork needed to be replaced even had a burn hole in the mattress this 5star hotel should be a 4star at maximum won't be visiting again until its been renovated

The location and sanitation are very good, that is, the furniture is a bit less, and there is no place to put things. In addition, the hotel displayed an address on the webpage. At the front desk, it was said that it was not their order. It was an order for another address. It was about 100 meters across a street, pushing four suitcases.... Imagine how painful it is. Later, I stayed for two nights, and the same path was booked. This time it was right. I needed to push the big bag to the first hotel. After the negotiation, I didn’t change the hotel. I want to say, please Ctrip and the agent confirm the address, do not let the user get the false information, thank you

The first time we ever had a short break away here was in 2012 and it was amazing. On arrival, we were checked in by a person who gave us wristbands and told us everything we needed to know about early park access, breakfast check in, times, and everything you needed to know. We also had access to the walk around the zebra and giraffe (and the other animals) enclosures after the park had closed. Which was amazing. This time around it was completely different. We had to check ourselves in, which also cost an additional £15 for room keys. (which you do have back once you check out) No one behind the counter had informed us that some things had changed, so we went about things like it was back in 2012. On the second day, the day we were supposed to be granted 1 hour early in the park the early access gate was closed and locked. We decided to try the main entrance and after fighting our way to the front of the main entrance and trying to explain to staff that our entrance was closed, we still had to argue with one of the staff members to gain access. By the time we got to someone who was willing to let us in they were letting the public in anyway. So we lost our early access. The park was amazing the staff there were lovely and the rides were great and we really did have a cracking day. At the end of the day when the park had closed, we decided to go back to the hotel and change so we could enjoy the walk among the zebras and other animals. But again, the gate was closed and locked. I went to ask a member of staff on the main desk what was going on and why the gate was locked both times we attempted to use it and was informed that they don't allow hotel guests to have that privilege anymore. I was very disheartened by all this and this probably could have been avoided if we were informed during check in like we were in 2012. I get that it may be easier for some people but why am I doing hotel receptions jobs for them by checking us all in and trying to scramble the Internet and my email inbox to try and find out information. Everything else is fantastic and I really do love this place. They just need to make more effort to inform people about their stay and not just lump us with 100's of emails and expect us to go through them all for one tiny piece of information they could have easily told us in person.

Stayed here with family while visiting Chessington theme park. The hotel is located in nice quite part with beautiful views. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Staff recognised my membership status and explained all benefits. The room had few stains but overall was comfortable. Note the place has no restaurant or anything at walking distance but few local places offer delivery. Breakfast was unfortunately a bit letdown for us 2 days in a row as the hash browns were cold and croissants not warm! Being vegetarian that were the options I went for as didn’t have much choice. Thankfully good coffee machine so had lovely cappuccino. I will however stay again more for the great staff and the location of the hotel.

I love the kitchen with cutlery provided. Microwave oven and dishwasher (5 tablets provided)/ washing machine with dry clean provided but pls bring your own wash tablet. They also have detergent , a cloth for dish washing . No rubbish bin bag provided but can ask for one at reception as you need to clean your own rubbish. Everything was fine as I can open the window at my side of rooms. Don't know if it applies to all room in adagio. The only downside is the very slow wifi speed which only has a max 4-5mbps through out the day. If possible choose the room facing the west as you can have a unblocked view of southwest London

On arrival there was a new girl on Reception (black girl) and she told me that the room I had reserved was room only and I knew I had booked a b&b rate. Although she was very pleasant she said she was new and needed to check with a more experienced receptionist. A white lady came into the reception area and was telling me that the new girl didn't know how to check was was included in the room rate and started showing her - how to check for this while I was there. This white lady (had a foreign accent) was quite abrupt to me and I thought to myself, maybe if you trained the new girl better, she would be able to check these details. The new girl was apologizing, I said to her its not your fault, you need to get trained better in your role. She was a beautiful young girl and very friendly and tried to help as much as she could. The kettle in my room was not working but was replaced quite quickly. I went to get some milk from the trolley and the Housekeeper (Spanish) screamed at me - your are not allowed to touch the trollies and if you need anything, please contact Reception, I said shall I leave it back then and she said - No its OK!. Had to advice Reception if one, needed their room cleaned. Breakfast was nice except the mushrooms they were too hard and difficult to eat. Staff tend to move trollies and talk to each other when guests are around and they use the guest lift as a service lift. They got in the way at times when I was trying to get out of the hotel, they apologized for getting in my way. Majority of staff were friendly, rooms need updating. On my last day, I was getting some tea at breakfast time in the dining area and when I returned a staff member (Small Indian lady) was clearing away my food and I had only went to get a cup of tea and had not finished my breakfast, I told her I was still having my breakfast. I was annoyed as my room card was still on the table but she never noticed this and was clearing it away. They spray and clean empty tables very close to you as you eat your breakfast which is frustrating as the smell of the cleaning liquid is quite strong, It was my first time staying at this hotel, however in the past I have had coffee/tea there but never stayed before. I would rate is as a 3 star Hotel and not a 4 star Hotel.

It was clean, and the location is great, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. The price was cheaper than other places around, if you’re on a budget may be a good option. But don’t trust the pictures — everything was very old, the pictures are from better days. They did some renovations, but the furniture was ancient, and the bathroom had moldy smell. Also, there was a mistake in my booking, instead of 1 person it said 3, so I had an extra trolley bed in my room that took most of the space. In addition, the walls are very thin — I could hear the neighbors all the time, and even when they tried to put something in the outlet on another side of the wall, it was super loud. Overall, not the best experience.

It is a good hotel without any particular fault. However, they only provide 30 minutes of Wi-Fi and tell you to pay GBP3 to buy it if you need it. No matter how little it is, I still feel bad. I'd rather spend that money on hotel fees in advance. If you use such a strategy of including and providing unlimited Wi-Fi, the company will also benefit from I think it would be good for all the guests as well. I think this hotel is not very pleasant because of the Wi-Fi. However, the female employee named ANA who works at the restaurant there is very good at cooking. I would like to praise you for being kind.
