The best pub in Whitby and one I always make a beeline for when I visit. Staff are always lovely and friendly and so are all the people who frequent it. There's a great choice of beers, nice and traditional inside with a great screens for sports.

If you *love* loud house parties and drunk people—this is your place! The smell of fresh paint just *barely* covers up the reek of cigarette smoke wafting in the open windows. On the plus side, there’s a busy street right outside and no parking. If you simply have to stay in the heart of Whitby, you probably could do worse, but you’d pay a lot less than £125 night. The room is nice enough, clean and fairly well-appointed. But you’ll be trying to sleep over a very noisy bar that appears to be very popular with the gauntlet of smokers you’ll have drag your bags through to check-in. Caveat Emptor: I am a woman travelling alone and I really didn’t feel the access to guest rooms was sufficiently secure. The only reason I stayed after realising that guest security wasn’t a priority is that I’d pre-paid.

Such a lovely pub the bar man was lovely and charming and definitely deserves a pay raise and a gorgeous smile james has and has good banter and was very helpful with the different Jins and with which one was best one for me as I don’t really drink

This was our 2nd stay at the station hotel. We stayed in room 1 looking out on to the harbour directly opposite railway station handy for everything. The room was spotless with all mod cons the staff can’t do enough for you will definitely return.

The most beautiful little inn and lovely little pub in the prettiest town. We were only there for one night in our way down from Edinburgh to London. Very welcoming and comfortable, close to everything. Great vibe in the pub, super staff. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the station inn for one night. The room was really lovely and clean, great location. If you want an early night may not be the place for you as it is the upstairs of a pub but we were out until late so it didn't bother us. Only disappointing thing is we did ask if we could get a slightly later check out and they said no. But overall really good value for money and a good experience.

We went for an overnight stay, never again would I stay in this place in Whitby. Over bearing door staff bordering on bullies and a bar manager short in stature with a massive chip on his shoulder. The worst experience I’ve EVER had at a B&B. Take my advice and avoid, the experience hasn’t put me off Whitby but there are so many other places to stay instead.

Went into The Station for a late night drink and music session. Seemed friendly enough to start, but the security/doorman had a really bad attitude and was actually quite intimidating. I'd suggest he needs retraining in his people skills. Seemed quite agitated most of the time and was extremely rude to customers for no obvious reason.
