One of the reliable things in life is what you get from a chain hotel and this was everything you would expect from a very well located Novotel. Nothing remarkable but comfortable clean rooms and efficient service. As the location was so good we would stay again

Convenient location, right in the city center with the view of the city landmarks. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The only disappointment was the swimming pool/ sauna rules which are not specified while making a booking on trip.com. We came to find out that the pool is only accessible for one hour per guest and additional time must be paid extra and cannot exceed 3 hours per day.  In addition, an advanced booking must be made in order to use the pool and spa facilities. These restrictions should be transparently stated as the inconvenience left us with a feeling of mis-advertisement, which is a shame for such a nice hotel.

The most amazing hotel experience, after leaving a horrendous airbnb at 1am me and my boyfriend went to the Mecure to find a room. Leszek on the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful in finding an affordable room for us as we are only students. The best customer service I’ve ever received, he was sympathetic to the situation we were in and gave us the best deal possible. The room was lovely and the location is perfect. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I chose this hotel as it's quite new. So all is in good condition. The bed is very good, not too soft or too hard. It has a very nice view on the City with those huge windows. The tv has chrome casting functionality which is perfect to go for netflix. Breakfast choices are very decent with wide variety of food. Very good quality as well. The downside that I have come across so far is: Restaurant service is poor. I stood in the front waiting for someone to bring to the table for a long time. Then when I was brought to the table, I found the chair being too low while I'm short, so I knew it would not be comfortable. I asked the waiter if there is another chair or table for me. He said it was not possible, while I could see many tables still available. After that, when I wanted to order, there was a lot that was not available from the menu. The presentation of the food was just so-so. I did also have to wait very long for service from the waiter. When checking in, I was asked if I wanted one more card so I could keep it in the slot for the room. I thought that was very good that they asked. But the next day, I noticed that the cleaning staff already took it away from the room. The desk lamp was not working, so I went to report it at the reception. The receptionist asked me if I tried to turn it on, which I felt it was a very silly question. So I told her yes, and I informed her that I checked it was also plugged in. When checking out, I had the same girl whom I went to for the light. I didn't feel very welcome by her. No smile or asking if everything was alright. And after she finished issuing the invoice, she didn't ask if I wanted an envelop for it, so I'd to ask for that.

Old hotel but still keeps high standards. Rooms big enough and clean but there is no electricity socket close to bed. Which is inconvenient. Pro for women: Rituals cosmetics in the room.:) Breakfast was ok, but there was no one at the egg station for almost half an hour and i couldnt order my eggs as i had to leave already.

We spent 1 week in this lovely hotel and our experience was really positive. It’s located about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. We ordered an Uber and the cost was under £10. The hotel is not quite in the centre of Warsaw but everything is close by and the public transport links were excellent. A real revelation was that most of the taxi rides with Free Now were under £3. Great value, especially if you are feeling lazy! Electric scooters are also available outside of the hotel and £1.80 for the day gets you unlimited free unlocks and 60 mins of free riding with Tier. Bolt, Lime and Dott also have scooters with similar offers. Warsaw has many bicycle lanes making cycling and scootering relatively safe. As others have noted, our hotel room was small. However, it comfortably accommodated 2 adults and a 14 year old. The bed in our room was king sized and our 14 year old slept on the sofa bed, which she said was very comfy. Housekeeping is every three days as standard but can be daily on request. All the staff on reception were lovely and friendly. Things like toothbrushes, sewing kits, sanitary products etc are available free of charge on request. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the room. Our room had multiple power points and a few USB charging points. This meant that we didn’t really need to have a European adapter with us. The hotel is dog friendly and dogs can stay in your hotel room for a supplement of 100zl per night. Light sleepers beware! The hotel rooms don’t seem to be sound proofed so you will hear trams, emergency sirens etc from about 5am onwards. This didn’t bother us at all. More of an observation really. Breakfast is included in the room rate and we really enjoyed it. The offering is the same daily but there is a lot of variety. Lots of cold meats and cheese, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes, pastries, breads, cereal, fruit, yoghurts etc. Juices, water and coffees are also readily available. Vegans have a section all for themselves and this includes tofu scrambled eggs. This hotel shares the same building as The Crowne Plaza hotel and you can access the restaurants for the Crowne Plaza. We went to Nova Wola on the first floor. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the environment very classy but it was definitely pricey. There is a bar with terrace on the 21st floor. It gets busy, especially if you want a terrace table, so book in advance.

The welcoming and communication is a mess! 10 emails also in fb, IG for confirmation of the room, 4 days in advance. At the desk, the hostess told me they are overbooked so they can not answer right away, 4 days ok… I also book a dinner table 4 days in advance, the same mess… I have experiences in many NOBU, always fantastic but this one in Warsaw I really do not recommand!

Over the years I stayed several times at this hotel, although its location is not very convenient for a tourist in Warsaw or for people having business downtown. Nonetheless, in the past I choose often to stay here because, in my opinion, this was the hotel of the Hilton group providing the greatest comfort, luxury and good treatment in all Poland. I come back after two years of absence due to the pandemic, and I discover that it is no longer so. Let me anyway say that the hotel remains pleasant and comfortable as before, but its top-quality performances are over. The first reason of my present discontent is in the food, once a strong point of this hotel. Breakfast now appears sloppily conceived and prepared: I stayed at the hotel 7 days, and for 7 days I had to eat my omelette without any accompanying side dish because the baked potatoes, the stewed beans and the bacon were definitely undercooked, and I was forced to leave them on the plate, untouched. Then I turned my attention to the sweets, which were nicely represented by the Belgian waffles and the pancakes, but I had to renounce to both of them because they were offered either without any topping at all (like the Belgian waffles) or with totally inappropriate ones (enough to say that the main toppings made available for the pancakes were ketchup and mayonnaise !). The rest of the breakfast was reasonable, but nothing special. Anyway, based on the experience made with breakfast, I avoided having any other meals at the hotel, even if this involved taking a bus and going downtown, several kilometres away. Another reason of my dissatisfaction was the evident change in the way of relating to customers. Formerly, relations were warm and welcoming, as it is appropriate in a classy hotel, but this time all contacts were cold, detached and strictly functional, as if taking care of the customer was considered an annoyance to be disposed of as quickly as possible. Certainly I was served correctly, but during my 7-days stay I never got a smile, nor was I ever greeted with a welcoming ”hello, how are you to day ?”. Upon departure, no one took care of asking me the classic question ”was everything OK with your stay ?”, and, having transmitted in writing some comments to the management (including the praise for one member of the staff who still maintains a high-profile style in its relations with the customers) I did not get any reply from them. Simple lapses in style, of course; but these lapses normally occur in hotels with few stars. To complete the picture, I shall also mention that at check-in I had enormous difficulties in obtaining such a modest advantage as a room with external view, although I am a Diamond member of the Hilton Honors program. Lastly, I was really disappointed with the elimination of the ”executive lounge”. This is the best ibis hotel I have ever stayed in. The room is large and equipped with a table, sofa and kettle! The transportation is also very convenient. You can reach the train station in 20 minutes by walk and very close to buses station. 10 minutes to metro. There is a restaurant next to the hotel and there have a “food towns”, supermarkets, etc. within a 10-minute walk nearby. In short, it is very convenient!
