I stayed at the hotel between 29/06-04/07 for a business trip. The location is very nice and next to some wonderful walking areas. The room was small but nice and I liked the minimalist style. The personnel were very helpful with a strong professional attitude and made my stay very pleasant. I want to thank them all and especially the front desk employees Max and Alysha! For sure I recommend it to others and will choose it again for possible reservations in the future.

I was there at 3.3.-4.3.2023 with a wife and an adult son. In total, 2 rooms already paid by credit card. At arrival we were asked by a clearly over-exigent receptionist to pay the roommaster cash because something doesn't work with credit card billing. And bar please because her own credit card machine doesn't work. Because we were very hurried, our grandchild was just born in Rotterdam, we paid. Two weeks later my credit card was charged 2x!!!!. After massive protests, a burden was reimbursed. But not the cash payment. I have been in telephone and written exchange with the hotel director for 2 months. Although the error was acknowledged in writing and payment promised, with always new excuses the transfer is delayed so the impression has emerged, they want to crush me until I give up nervously. I do not! My report should be a warning, please, not to persuade you to questionable payments on the ground. Obviously, you have incompetent staff and little willingness to solve the problem customer-friendly. I'm now giving it all to a lawyer.

Was a short stay for covid isolation prior to work. Reception was very welcoming, clean, roaring fire, and friendly staff. The room was clean and more than suitable for a weeks isolation. As I was bound to the room itself I had to rely on asking the staff for things! On hand was Bowy. Lovely young man who replied to my requests promptly and couldn’t do enough to help. I didn’t have a travel adapter with me and initially reception staff said they didn’t have any. Bowy, however, went out of his way to find me one knowing how important it is to keep phones charged. He will do well if he stays in the hotel industry. Not much else I can say as didn’t leave the room until it was time to go! Many thanks.

We booked the Captain suite with a balcony, which is a nice, light room because of the many windows with lots of space and a beautifull view on the Nieuwe Waterweg. One minor point were the high pillows. In advance we looked forward to the breakfast, during our last stay in 2019 we enjoyed the large amount of different kinds of food to choise from and the high quality of the food. However, this time it was different: The breakfast was from average quality and the amount of food to choise from was very, very much reduced compared with our experience with the breakfast in 2019. Sadly, one thing has not changed which is the price. The current price is definitely to high for the breakfast which is offered.
