出羽三山巡りにあたって利用させて頂きました。当方ノープランの急な旅だった為、予約無しで伺いましたが、ご主人が快く受け入れて下さりました（宿坊では予約が無いと厳しいと断られました）。下調べが浅かったため、今回は羽黒山のみの参拝となりましたが、三山を巡ったような体験が出来る博物館を紹介してくださったり、次回の旅の参考になる情報を教えてもらいました。建物についてですが、昔ながらの旅館といった感じでとても味があって◎です。はじめて来たはずの所なのに、こんなに「居心地が良いな」と感じた事を不思議に思います。また、他の方も書かれていますが、広い旅館にも関わらず隅々まで清掃が行き届いており、「清潔感」がありました。キレイな喫煙ルームもあるので喫煙者も安心です。お料理についてですが、「すべてにおいて平均点を上回ってくる」洗練された味がしました。旅館の料理といえば大抵１つ２つはクセのあるお品が出されるイメージがありますが、ここは日本人なら誰が食べても「美味しい」と感じると思います。特に茄子の天ぷらは絶品でした（衣はサクサクっとした仕上がりで、中身は口の中で「ジュワァ～」ととろけます）。全体として、ご主人や女将さんの優しさを感じられるとても良い旅館です。こういう旅館はいつまでも日本にあり続けてほしいなと思いました（文句なしの星５です！）。

All rooms have an ocean view, and the view from the window is like a moving painting by Kaii Higashiyama. There was a wide variety of meals, and the menu was pleasing to the eyes and tongue (both at night and in the morning). The coast is just a stone's throw away, the service is well-considered for corona, and the employees are very pleasant. I got on the bus to go to the next sightseeing spot, but even though it had been more than 15 minutes since I checked out, three employees came out of the way to stop the bus passing in front of the inn. I was surprised when he shook me, and then I was moved by myself. If I have the opportunity to go to Tsuruoka, I definitely want to stay here again.

1 night 2 day, to go to Sakata fireworks festival I used 3 rooms for 6 families. I was saved by changing the check-in time zone for this convenience. Although it is a very old building, the exterior has been renovated and the inside has been cleaned cleanly. The corridor was shiny even if I walked barefoot. I didn't use it because brown water came out of the water supply in the bathroom in the room. I think it is better to bring earplugs when sleeping because I can hear the voice and snoring of the next guest. There is no toilet in the room. There was one bath for men and women, and it was a bath with a slightly larger bathtub and 3 showers for women. About 4 people entered at the same time. It was available until 12 o'clock at night.
