Right in the old ghetto, 200m walking from the parking San Giorgio and squeezed between Piazza Nazionale and Piazza Bursa, one could not get a more central location. The entrance was abit confusing as there is a Via del Pane and a forking Androna del Pane. You should take the latter #3. Th eappartment is well restored and modern, fully equipped and all amenities are there. However the working of the airco was a bit of a mistery, but it worked. Should we come back to Triëst, we do not need to search for a better place to stay.

Worst travel/accommodation experience ever! Arrived in the evening to open windows in loft apartment, after having spent some stressful minutes trying to get in and not break key. Bitten alive by multitudes of mosquitos through the night, resulting in all over body red sores and several pharmacy visits over following days. Contacted hosts to complain next morning and asked for refund, as no sleep and sore. Host acknowledged they knew of issue caused by nearby construction work, but refused to provide apology, let alone refund. Avoid this place for the sake of your health.

Mosquito alert! We were eaten by mosquitoes all night, resulting in distress and zero sleep. Very poor, dismissive reaction to complaint by host who blamed construction site nearby but did not acknowledge problem beyond "inconvenience" and took no mitigations. Windows were wide open on arrival even though they knew about the problem. Our holiday was punctuated by visits to pharmacy as a result of a one night stay. It's well appointed, but sadly bad for your health. Avoid!

The building is located in the old town but looks nothing like the photo on TripAdvisor. It's basically an anonymous apartment house on 5 levels. The apartment was ok but no lift. I found this place noisy during the day due to building work next door and noisy at night (weekends) because there is a bar nearby. Would not return.

We spent a single night prior to our cruise at Locanda alle Beccherie. This property was ideal, being clean and homely, comfortable and safe. Access straightforward, dealing with owners was excellent and checkin and checkout simple. No problems encountered

Amazing place, overall top notch. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Little difficult to find the actual entrance initially but owner sent good directions.

Well the entrance is at the BACK of the building - and NOT at the front but that is the ONLY thing which could be kind of called not good. the location is AWESOME and the rooms are wonderful - very nice design. Spatious and in the middle of everyting. What also earns special cudos is the service. Although due to corona there was no personal greeting the service via SMS was super nice, friendly and Helpful..

Posizione ottima anche se in un vicolo non proprio pulito e maleodorante, appartamento situato al quarto piano carino e pulito anche se dalla cucina l'affaccio e' su una costruzione fatiscente.Dotato di ascensore non funzionante per i quattro giorni di soggiorno nonostante le nostre lamentele e richieste d'intervento.Privo di prodotti da bagno(bagnoschiuma e shampo) anche se previsti nella prenotazione e richiesti invano all'arrivo.Altri appartamenti fittati da amici in viaggio con noi nella stessa situazione
