Just returned from Torquay, our group of eight girlfriends had a fabulous time together enjoying Giovanni at the Princess Theatre. We stayed at the Berburry., perfect location within walking distance of theatre plus free parking.Such a Warm welcome including Banana cake made us all feel at home.Very comfortable rooms. Superb quality breakfast, homemade yoghurt was gorgeous. Only thing to improve - the weather!! Absolute deluge walking back so we made good use of the cosy honesty bar in our pyjamas! Definitely recommend , can’t wait to return. Thankyou Stuart and Wendy . 👌

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this fabulous small hotel. Steve and Wendy were great hosts, very professional but friendly without being intrusive. We had a deluxe room on the first floor and Steve assisted us with our luggage to our room when we arrived and from the room on departure. The hotel and room were spotlessly clean,bed had beautiful linen and very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked by Steve and was fabulous, I had pancakes and bacon one morning and the pancakes were the best I've ever had ,and I've eaten pancakes all over the world! Could go on raving about this gem of a hotel but I think you have an idea now how good it was. We will be visiting again in a few months.

This beautifully presented small hotel was top notch & I would highly recommend. The owners made you so welcome, the rooms were lovely & stocked with all your toiletries, tea, coffee & biscuits. The bed was so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay so much so we booked again.

Excellent accommodation, lovely friendly hosts and an amazing cooked breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. Easy location/short walk for the Theatre, where we were going to watch a show.

Lovely spotlessly clean hotel, beautiful fluffy towels, comfy bed a lovely toiletries. Nice honesty bar with good choice of drinks. Fresh milk for room if required and cakes available. Wendy and Steve are very accommodating and friendly. Great choice of both continental and hot breakfast. Such a great stay we have booked again for next year.

What a fantastic stay we had at the Berberry B&B last weekend. Modern, bright & airy, spotless clean room. Lovely views of the Tor from our window. Parking easy, great breakfast menu, caters for all appetites. Wendy & Steve are wonderful hosts. Perfect location. I can not fault this place in any way. It was so lovely to get away from the hustle & bustle of the City, we hope to stay here once a month. I CAN NOT GIVE THE BERBURRY ENOUGH CREDIT!! *****

Wendy and Steve are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast, super comfy rooms and an ideal location for exploring Torquay. They even recommend places to eat and visit, we will be again soon.

Very clean and nice rooms, Wendy and Steve are very friendly and a good laugh. The breakfasts is first class with ingredients locally sourced. The Hotel is located in a very nice area with of road parking. We will defiantly stay again when visiting this area.

This is the best place to stay in Torbay. As well as being spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, spacious room and well equipped bathroom, there are the fabulous breakfasts. Great choice with many healthy options, fresh fruit and homemade yogurt, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. The hot food is cooked to order, all high quality local produce, so delicious. Other features include the honesty bar in the lounge, fresh milk and drinking water always available in the fridge, also homemade cake which was totally yummy and moreish. Located just a couple of minutes walk to the abbey and then 10 minutes along the sea front to reach Torquay harbour and some great restaurants. The high number of returning guests is testimony to Wendy and Steve and the thoughtfully considered detail that makes The Berburry feel like a home away from home.
