"When entering the reception area of the Livermead House Hotel you encounter a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and polite, the room we stayed in had all the facilities that were advertised with a stunning sea view. The lounge area is large and the garden area and pool a definite plus point. We did not have dinner this stay, the breakfast menu has lots of choice and the food very appetising, the hot food served hot and in a timely manner. Will definitely be staying again."

"Ficámos no Devonshire de 03/07- 07/07, depois de visitarmos várias vezes antes.Na nossa primeira noite, tivemos que mover-nos, porque houve um ruído que nos manteve acordados. Gostaria de agradecer à porta-voz Da Noite, que compreendeu e conseguiu nos arranjar outra sala. Ao passar para o jantar, por essa ocasião senti que não era tão boa Como visitas passadas, MAS é só a minha opinião pessoal ....., o pequeno-almoço é sempre bom.Obrigado Charlie, o nosso assistente, que era tão agradável e eficiente. A sala que ficámos estava limpa durante a nossa estadia, por isso, obrigado pelo nosso guarda-costas durante esta estadia. Há alguns lugares bonitos para visitar perto de Torquay, Nesta estadia, fomos para a aldeia incrível de Cockington e também viajamos por ferry para Brixham Harbour.Outra bela multidão do Midlands Ocidental sempre faz UMA viagem melhor. Muito obrigado a todos OS funcionários do Devonshire, que estão fazendo o melhor para garantir que você TEM boa experiência lá."

The Caledonian Torbay Hotel

"This was our 2nd visit as the 1st visit 3 yrs ago was a positive one. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly gentleman at reception who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We then went up to our room,as we entered we were hit by a blanket of heat. We immediately opened the window which sadly didn't make much difference. There was no air con in this room also so if you like it cool or cold double check with the hotel before booking if the room will have it. We didn't check so that's on us. The bathroom sink didn't drain either,took ages for the water to go down after washing your hands. We didn't report this at the time as it didn't really impact us that much but we let them know at reception when we checked out and the gentleman there logged it so hopefully that'll be fixed ASAP. Breakfast I'd say was average, tasted nice but not a massive variety of foods. One choice of egg which was scrambled but they did taste good. No pastries and basic cereal no museli, just Wheat biscuits,rice crispies, corn flakes. No continental available. It all tasted ok though 7/8 out of 10. Overall the stay was nice and ok for the price we paid."

"We loved it here. Amazing location, great rooms and every request met by the host! Cannot fault. We rebooked on leaving - Highly recommended! It's a small and very friendly Guest House. The room we booked was one of the smaller ones, but even still perfect for 2 people and 2 dogs. It's in a perfect location and if you like live music, there is a venue just meters away! Can't wait to go back"
