Premier Inn Torquay Seafront

Amazing stay. It's a great location and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Checked straight in, no queue. My room was huge. Premier Inn have taken over a previous property here so while there is all the usual Premier Inn furniture the rooms are a bit different. My room was so, so quiet. I didn't hear any other guests at all, no doors closing and no traffic. It was a blissful haven. Had breakfast - the usual buffet offering, all cooked items were hot and there was a good choice of hot and cold breakfast items. Wonderful stay all round.

Rhys m,barman,was a asset to hotel.Always helpful and friendly.Lovely Hotel in prime location,couldn't fault anything.

Great location across the road from the beach, lovely clean room with very comfy bed. Had breakfast and evening meal, food was very nice and the service was exceptional. Couldn't of asked for anything more.

Good location right on the seafront so easy to just cross the road Good parking spaces very smart Pub closed at 10pm most nights

We had a super room with amazing views. Our checking in was very slow, about 20mins. More staff was needed, as so many guests arrived at the check in time.

We stayed in a family room during the easter holidays for 2 nights. Room was fine, but this was my least favourite Premier Inn that we have ever stayed in. There wasn’t anything hugely wrong and the room was one of the biggest we’ve had, but it just felt a bit lacking. We were disappointed not to have a sea view (although we wouldn’t have been able to see the sea anyway because the window was so green and filthy, probably for the best as it blocked the awful view we had of the top of a roof). Beds were comfy and lots of wardrobe space. Restaurant for breakfast was lovely and they had a great system in place. Views of the sea from the restaurant where we sat as well, so that was nice. Lots of seating outside if the weather was warmer. Plenty of parking spaces.

Understaffed hotel where staff are demoralised and guests are allowed to queue for long periods. This applys at reception, bar area and restaurant. Some of the staff are unhelpful , management appear to be saving money on proper staffing levels at the expense of guest experience.

Booked a plus room for an extra £10. Not sure if the room had even been cleaned, bed was made but I picked up a green grape from the floor and the toilet was disgustingly dirty under the seat. It was booked as a double room for 2 people but only supplied 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel.The coffee machine (which is supposed to be a perk of the *plus* rooms) dispensed cold coffee 5 times out of 6 attempts. All reported to the receptionist, twice, nothing resolved. Just got a shrug of the shoulders and " nothing I can do, I'm the only member of staff". Totally disinterested. All reported again to reception on checkout, at least got an apology then. Not happy with Premiere Inns at all!

Great location. It's an older building with decent sized rooms. Quick checkin. Breakfast in the adjoining Beefeater is very good and great value breakfast. Once again isdue with dirty looking soap dispenser in the bathroom.
