A experiência neste hotel foi simplesmente terrível. Desde o primeiro momento em que entramos. O voo chegou às 22h20, neste hotel depois das 22h você só pode pegar água, sem comida ou bebida. No segundo dia, todo o restaurante, menos um, estava fechado por causa do tempo, choveu apenas pela manhã. Terceiro dia, sem água quente (pelo restante da viagem 6 dias no total), não leve bebê para este hotel. A porta de vidro deslizante de um dos quartos não estava aberta. Os ventiladores eram de 1800 e não funcionavam. Uma tarde, não conseguimos beber nada porque o hotel não tinha gelo. Nos fins de semana, no café da manhã, você precisaria chegar às 7h15 ou metade da comida acabaria. Além disso, eles se cansaram de nos enganar no check-out com um táxi, 2 contas extras, eles não sabiam onde ou de onde apenas data e um número. O nono porque (fizemos o check-out às 5h) fomos à recepção para garantir que tudo estava claro (pagamos duas contas que achamos agora fraudulentas também), então das 21h às 5h da manhã seguinte, mais coisas aconteceram do que fizemos não sabem ou saberiam, negócio extremamente obscuro. Não correspondeu à minha expectativa. Hotel degradado ..precisa de muita atenção. Sem máquinas de gelo ... sem elevadores de trabalho, espreguiçadeiras em frente à praia em mau estado e sujas. Ventilador do quarto não funciona. As portas da varanda não abrem e fecham com facilidade.
Os funcionários foram simpáticos e prestativos. O café da manhã era bom. Buffet noturno caro, pois é culinária local.
Má experiência geral. Não vale o dinheiro pago.

The hotel is very spacious. The main pool is gorgeous. I booked the 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi for my 29th wedding anniversary. My cousin also accompanied my wife and I who utilized the second bedroom. The jacuzzi was inoperable which was very disappointing ! The living room floor kept encountering condensation on the floor. Our room 242 had an unbelievable view of the ocean! The buffet breakfast was ok. The let down for us was few choices of Trinidadian food. Saltfish, baigan choka and roti. The drinks were very good at all of the bars. Looking foward to another stay very soon!

A beautiful property, friendly staff,breakfast staff was great,supervisor of breakfast area was superb.Like many places their effort to keep plastic bottles from the grounds,especially the mangrove bordering the golf course is an ongoing challenge,though not bad in effort.A very nice place to visit.

The minute I got into my room it smells really musky a kind of damped , don’t let me talked about the bathroom towels . First of all my bathroom mats at my home is stark white , so having to used these towels for my body was very disappointing an disgusting, those towels needs to be THROWN OUT like yesterday, The restaurant staffs were so sweet and amazingly pleasant to us . For the price I’ve paid to stay at the Magdalena Resort an to find there isn’t a microwave is beyond useless in these times .

The food was excellent for the most part although limited for vegetarian diet. The first 2 days air conditioner was not working. The management did state that they will work with ******* and refund one night stay. The maid service was excellent although during the 5 day stay they never changed the sheets. WiFi was very spotty. The pool was beautiful and warm. Loved the pool area. The bar staff by the pool was excellent. The service in the restaurant was horrible. The staff are not being trained properly. It ruined the dining experience eventhou the food was so good. I had to wait 90 min for a drink order during lunch. After one hour I cancelled it. 20 min later when we were ready to go they brought the drink over. I told the server that I cancelled that drink 20 minutes ago so she said that she would take it off the bill and that I could keep it. Moments later a supervisor Pamela comes to the table and demands that we ordered it so we have to pay for it. I told her I had already cancelled it over 20 minutes ago. She grabbed the drink in front of me and off she went in a huff. Totally unprofessional! The rest of the supervisory staff was friendly and professional.

The Magdalena Grand is beautiful, staff are polite and the breakfast is delicious. The downside is the Air conditioning in the rooms did not work at all and the hotel restaurant service was not very good at all. They should service the a/c in the rooms and have better chefs and faster service.
