This time I stayed because of family travel. Overall, the room was small and the bathroom was smaller. The sound insulation is not very good, and the air conditioner is not very comfortable to blow on the bedside. The bed is still good to sleep but the pillow is low and the quilt is thin. In addition, the parking lot is not enough. Although it can be parked in the underground parking lot of Hai'an Road, it is difficult to park at night, and it is not convenient to walk up and down a road.

I stayed in a double room with 2 medium beds that can be combined into a large bed. It is located opposite the Tainan City Hall. It is in the Phase 5 rezoning area. There are many hotels nearby, and transportation into the city is not very convenient unless you drive yourself. Leave the station. The expressway is very far away. It is at the end of Tainan City. There is no view on the 3rd to 7th floors. The low windows are only as high as the home next door. The facilities in the room are worse than ordinary motels. There is no hot water in the shower and it is only 40 degrees. The warm water on the left and right side reflected in the hotel and the only answer was that the constant temperature could not be adjusted, and there were very few breakfast items. I often go back to Tainan and have stayed at Yuanqi Shangri-La, Dayi Landis, Taiwan Sugar Evergreen, Tianxia Hotel, Holiday Motel, etc... .With the price in Taibang (I bought it for 2999 at the travel show), I was very disappointed after staying. It cannot be compared with other high-end hotels and can only be regarded as a new business hotel. The only advantage is: there is no increase in price during holidays, but you have to book a room. .

The room has its own sense of design, but not everyone can accept it. The front desk staff are friendly.

Because of the work relationship, I stayed at the hotel very late, but the lady at the counter in the evening shift was still warmly greeted and received, as if I felt like I was home. After I checked in, I thought it would be much worse than I thought, because the experience of the backpacker inn I have lived in before told me, The situation inside is not necessarily good, but after coming here, it completely subverted my idea. In the blink of an eye, today marked the end of my 5 month stay at Changyu. It’s a bittersweet feeling for me. I am finally headed back to the US, but this little compact and quaint hotel had grown on me so much. As a business executive who used to travel worldwide staying at different 5 star hotels pre-Covid, I rarely feel motivated to leave a review, unless i get super upset by something. Except a few selfish guests that smoked in the room next to mine, my stay was so immaculate that 5 months just flew by. It was definitely my “home away from home” as I spent most of my time in Tainan holed up in my room working day and night. The mattress and pillows were very comfy and the room provided everything a typical business traveler would need. The WiFi could be faster but I had no issue tethering 4G from my phone for video calls. The Western breakfast choice for complimentary breakfast was tasty enough for me to have the same thing consecutively for 3 weeks straight once. Next time I am back to Tainan solo, I will not hesitate to call the friendly and caring front desk up and request my room 602 back. See you next time, everyone! Thank you for taking exceptional care of me. TL;DR: highly recommended by a picky traveler. You def get your money’s worth.

Location is just right next to Tainan train station. Very new hotel, and the family room is extremely huge with 2 large king size beds and even a play tent for kids corner. The bathroom is separated with bathtub and standing showers, with the toilet in another room. It even has a walk in wardrobe. Breakfast spread at the hotel lobby restaurant is both local and international, with plenty of tables. Hotel even offers free drinks and supper snacks. Plenty of car rentals nearby.

Come travel alone as a young single person...don't want chaos...quiet accommodation with no noise. I recommend coming here...a Japanese style room...soaking in hot spring water before going to bed, very comfortable...only thing is the map on google. Not updating the location of the accommodation...traveling for hours...must study the route carefully before the time to check is over...good thing this place uses a keycard system...press the code as sent in the message...for people IT era 2000 I have to learn a lot this time...
