Very clean, new and spacious room. We’ve been stay in for 6 nights for our trip. The staffs here are friendly and always helpful. Also, the location is convenient and close to many well-known sites in Kyoto. Special thanks to Ms. Mazutani and Monju. We’ll definitely come back :)

O hotel tem uma excelente localização, mesmo em Shijo Kawaramachi. A villa tem entrada independente e elevador. Ao sair, vire à direita e você encontrará trilhas que levam ao rio Takase e ao rio Kamogawa. Além do último andar, um dos banhos públicos também tem vista para o Rio Kamogawa e para a Torre Kiyomizudera/Kodaiji/Yasaka. Os quartos da villa estão bem equipados, com varandas independentes para relaxar, e existem fontes termais nos quartos, para que possa tomar banho a qualquer hora, o que é muito cómodo.

Fiquei em um hotel onde sempre quis ficar. No check-in, fomos recebidos com macaroons e chá fauchon enviados diretamente da França, e havia muitos doces e vários tipos de chá e café fauchon no quarto. As cores eram rosa choque, preto, dourado e branco, tornando-o elegante. Por favor, aproveite os doces e leve o resto com você. Como esperado do Fauchon Hotel Além disso, a chave do quarto é feita de madeira, o que é uma boa colaboração com Kyoto, onde fiquei na França. Houve também um Yatsuhashi especial feito em colaboração com Yatsuhashi que estava disponível apenas para convidados. Embora seja um hotel pequeno, possui restaurante, café e boutique de doces. A localização era conveniente e perto de todos os lugares. Gostaria de ficar lá novamente se tiver oportunidade.

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Grande quarto, limpo, amável e amável pessoal, especialmente o japonês. Seria melhor prestar mais atenção à reciclagem e ao ambiente, e reduzir a utilização de um DOS acessórios.

Everything was good except the service in hotel restaurants, which was exceptionally bad: 1) breakfast: waited for food for 40 mins, reminded the server 2 times - still nothing; 2) bar: a too long wait for a cocktail. the server said that as apology said cocktail won’t be in included in the bill… but it was there; 3) afternoon tea: told the staff that I dislike dairy products, but have no allergy. So, for example I can eat most sweets, but not the ones with a strong taste of mascarpone cream. In the end they gave me just a plate of fruit and when I remninded them of the above they… did nothing ) I stayed at this hotel and had afternoon tea there last year too - everything was fine then. All of the above are 3 different restaurants inside the hotel, so I wouldn’t recommend going to any restaurant there. In all other aspects except services related to food the hotel is good.

Reservei um quarto duplo premium com vista para a cidade neste hotel do Banyee Tree Group, no bairro de Kyoto Sanjo. A localização do hotel é ótima, a apenas 5 a 10 minutos a pé dos shoppings da cidade de Kyoto, o que é ótimo para minha família, já que podemos fazer caminhadas e procurar comida japonesa de qualidade todos os dias quando saímos, sem perder tempo procurando transporte. Além disso, há uma estação de metrô Sanjo bem ao lado do hotel, com conexões para outros pontos turísticos e até mesmo para Osaka e outros lugares, se desejar. A qualidade do serviço de hospitalidade é boa e alguns funcionários são atenciosos e conseguem se comunicar em inglês. O interior do quarto é aconchegante e confortável para minha família, e eu gosto da cama confortável e do chuveiro com efeito de chuva e água quente suficiente, e tanto eu quanto minha família dormimos bem lá. A velocidade do Wi-Fi é aceitável e o serviço de limpeza dos quartos também está acima da média.

I quite like this resort. They are very near a train station and the bamboo forest. There’s free amenities like comb, cotton etc. Drinks machine provided at the lobby which is a great touch from the resort to the customers. Love their private onsen bath. They have 5 different private onsen bath rooms and most of the time it is available. We opted for breakfast and dinner and it was a great decision. It changes everyday. For dinner it’s like a semi buffet, you can order the tempura free flow. They provide ramen for supper. Overall I will recommend this hotel and will come back if there’s another chance.

The hotel had an authentique Japanese feel to it , very spacious rooms , kind staff , and perfect location ! If you are coming from Tokyo to get another feel of Japan then this must be the perfect location ! Being used to major hotels in Tokyo , this came as a contrast , it felt like a traditional home but with all the luxuries you need. I highly recommend
