The Julius Prague is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. Its location is perfect—just a short walk to major attractions like Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, and the Old Town, yet tucked away enough to avoid the heavy crowds. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped. One thing that stood out is their unique concept—there’s no telephone in the room. Instead, you connect with the team through their hotel app or even WhatsApp. It was surprisingly convenient and worked perfectly for requests and housekeeping. The suite came with full amenities, including a great rain shower. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and after a full day of exploring Prague, it was exactly what we needed for a good night’s rest. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was generous, but we must especially compliment the chef for the sautéed mushrooms with onions and the broccolini—perfectly cooked, lightly seasoned, and among the best we had in Prague. If you’re looking for a place that’s close to all the main sights but still feels like a retreat from the crowds, The Julius Prague is an excellent choice. Overall, The Julius Prague offers the ideal balance of convenience, comfort, and quality.

The best experience ever! Big thank you to the hotel for all the kindness and attention. Will definitely come back. The room was spacious and very beautiful with all necessary amenities. There is a valet service for the car, just come directly to the hotel and the stuff will help you to park the car, parking fee is 41€ per day. The breakfast just amazing, delicious and a lot of choices. 10 stars for this hotel!

No geral, este hotel era uma mistura de ótimas vibrações e alguns incômodos. Tive sorte com um quarto no último andar com duas claraboias e uma bela disposição interna (era uma escrivaninha comprida atrás da cama) — superestético e com uma atmosfera agradável. Mas a ventilação era um pesadelo. Não sei se consegui descobrir o sistema ou o quê, mas o quarto ficou extremamente abafado o dia todo. Não quente, apenas sufocante, como se o ar estivesse preso sem circulação. Mesmo fechar as cortinas da claraboia durante o dia, quando estávamos fora, não ajudou; era como se o quarto estivesse acumulando o calor de um dia inteiro. Não consigo imaginar que eu estivesse suando à noite com 12°C lá fora... Se pudessem consertar o fluxo de ar ou adicionar um pouco de refrigeração, este lugar seria quase perfeito. Prendi a placa de ”não perturbe”, mas deixei garrafas plásticas vazias do lado de fora para retirada. Na segunda e terceira manhãs, elas ainda estavam lá — parecia que nenhum funcionário sequer vinha a este último andar (apenas dois quartos aqui em cima, no 4º andar). O check-out foi meh; a equipe só se importou se eu usei o frigobar, sem perguntas sobre a minha estadia. Eles pareciam bem juniores. Agora, a localização? Absolutamente surreal. Não importa qual atração você visite, você estará de volta ao hotel em 15 minutos — incrivelmente conveniente. O hotel em si é deslumbrante, o tipo de lugar que deixa as pessoas com inveja quando te veem entrar. Sinceramente, tirando o quarto abafado, eu estava bem feliz.

We had a lovely stay here! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions and tips. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk or quick ride to Prague’s city centre. While the interiors feel a bit outdated, some mugs weren’t properly cleaned.

Hotel room is spacious, clean and the design is modern and we all love it! During the check in, there is some light bites provided near the reception area and it was super tasty! The location is walking distance (around 5-10mins) to many tourist spots.

Nice big rooms, and big beds, relatively comfortable beds. Location is ok with 2 supermarkets very nearby. Hilton hotel is directly opposite. Most tourist attractions are not very far away. There is a good Chinese restaurant called Moon in Prague, around 9-10 minutes walk away. The curtains let in light a bit from the top all night. The shower is not good it's very squashed, i could barely turn around in the shower and the hand held showerhead is low, a lot of water goes out of the shower area onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom sink is good with a big counter. Prague is a more lively and active city that Budapest, especially at night. We liked the Mucha exhibition, although not many artworks, because we are fans of art nouveau.

We booked three rooms for a group of six and stayed for three nights. Upon check-in, we immediately found that the rooms were significantly smaller than what we had booked. After having contacted front desk and Trip.com, rooms cannot be changed and we were only offered very minimal compensation without clear explanation for the discrepancy in room size. We felt very frustrated not to mention the time wasted seeking for remedies. The hotel’s central location is perfect for exploring main attractions but several aspects of our stay did not meet expectations. 1. Room Size & Cleanliness: The room was small and the overall cleanliness was below average. For instance, the hairdryer full of fingerprints and grease (no hygiene bag) is put right next to clean bath towels. 2. Privacy Concern: An uninvited housekeeping staff entered our room without knocking to promote a €25 hotel branded teddy bear, which is totally unacceptable and lack of respect for privacy. 3. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast had a wide selection but it was served in the bar area (where is the main entrance of the hotel to reach hotel front desk) and mezzanine floor with fairly limited seats. Food was laid over bartender’s countertop that created a chaotic and stressful environment especially during the breakfast peak hours. 4. Security Concern: As the hotel was modernised from a historic building, there are structural limitations e.g. the staff / housekeeping lift and dedicated lift to the rooftop bar share the same lift lobby for hotel rooms. The bar lift somehow also provides access to hotel room floors. This poses security concerns since non-hotel/bar guests could potentially access hotel rooms without any security checks. This hotel would suit travelers who prioritize location than any things else. Based on our experiences, it should not be classified as a five star as it claims for.

The hotel is not bad, old but has its own charm, we actually liked the decor, the location is very good, the breakfast though is very average, nothing special. We had the worst chek-in experience in our life with Mr Nader, who was very rude, we have booked a superior double room and paid the full amount in advance, when we arrived he simply said he had no room available, and that he will move us to another hotel of theirs, and it was far from the location we chose to stay in for it's proximity to everything we wanted to visit, and that of course without even asking for our opinion. We said no and that it is unacceptable to move us to a hotel on the other side of prague, not in the same category, he even lied and said that it was also a five stars hotel but it was a 4 stars hotel. He was very unfriendly, extremely rude to us, he even insinuated that it was our fault because we had booked the room on the same day and he repeated it many times with a bad attitude. We did, but it was at least 8 hours earlier than our arrival, we even checked several times that the room was still available hours after our payment. He finally silently gave us a deluxe room with twin beds, without explaining anything, when we saw the room we told him that we are a couple on a romantic trip we want to stay in the same bed, he yelled at us saying that we insisted to stay in the hotel and not move to another one, and that the room he gave us is way better than the room we booked, which was a superior double room, we didn't really care about the room type more than we care that we got a double bed, but we finally accepted because we got no choice but to move to another hotel that night. They made the beds closer, but they kept moving away the whole night which was very weird and uncomfortable. He could've at least offered us free breakfast, but he instead made us pay for it, and told us if we want something we could go speak to the manager. It's never about money for us but the way he dealt with unsatisfied clients is the worst, and we work both in the tourism, in fact we are both managers! His colleagues the day after were more friendly and they moved us to a room with double bed with a great view, which we liked much more. A thing that we noticed is that the staff of this hotel are very unfriendly with no reason, they make you feel that you're bothering them just by walking by (the young blond girl in the reception, the breakfast staff, except for the young guy in the reception and the concierge, who was very nice welcoming and friendly and kept smiling the whole time. We would only recommend the hotel for its location and the artistic decor, but never for the service.

Os funcionários são muito simpáticos Apesar do meu inglês ser ruim, recebi um longo texto traduzido por um tradutor e um drink de boas-vindas. Reservei porque a vista era boa, mas a localização foi um pouco decepcionante, pois ficava a mais de 10 minutos de caminhada do centro da cidade. Mas tudo bem, pois era tranquilo. As condições do quarto eram boas e eu gostaria de ficar lá novamente se eu voltar a Praga.
