"I lived in Doha many years ago, so I booked the rooms in this hotel for the location which is excellent. I have also paid a good rate as I booked those quite in advance (about 50 quid per night, per room). Unfortunately our staying was not that great. I am not really happy to write this review, because all the staff are extremely polite, courteous, and well mannered, all of them, really nice staff. However, feedback and reviews are given 'here and now', so to better describe the circumstances encountered during the visit. PROS - Very easy/hassle free check in/out, strong wi-fi, polite staff, super location, amenities near by and on site, comfy bed, super shower, overall cleanliness of the hotel. CONS - Upon check in, I asked for two rooms not near the lifts, as it could get busy and noisy. The receptionist said 'ok no problem' and, guess what, one room was far from the lifts, but my one was right next to it. Upon entering the rooms, in my room the bath mat was missing and I had to call them asking for one. In the other room, there was a tray with food leftovers in the fridge. Considering that the rooms were just been cleaned up, it is really bad. We had to call the house-keeping to have it removed and the fridge cleaned. The hair drier is kinda secured/clipped to the wall and it cannot be taken to the bath. I asked how we are supposed to dry our hairs if the drier is not in front of the mirror, they replied 'use the TV screen as a mirror!'. The coffee mugs and drinking glasses were never changed or washed, we had to wash them ourselves. On the kitchenette top, there was some coffee powder, that was never wiped off during our entire stay. Once back in the room, on the first evening, I realized that there were 3 pillow cases missing out of 4. I had to call them up asking to bring some and put them on. The house keeping were always missing something everyday, and we had to call them many times. The lifts are key-operated but they only allow the guests to their room floor. Mine was on 9th floor, the other was on 7th floor. We had to use the staircase if we wanted to go to each othe room which, by the way, was dirty. They have a metal detector at the entrance which is very noisy. The lobby is kinda smallish and gets cramped and busy at a times. Overall, it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, but more of a budget hotel. The house-keeping needs to improve and so the room cleanliness."

"The hotel is conveniently located at about 15 minutes drive by taxi from the Hamad international airport. The front desk staff are 25/7 smiling and ready to be of help and assistance! Facilities are well in order. Room was spotless clean. Size of it was very bigger than the photos and much bigger than the other hotels! Bathroom is is also very well designed and all is in good order! All together the perfect choice for the stay over night to catch the flight next day!"

Another highlight was the incredible coffee—definitely my favorite part of each morning. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of flavorsome dishes, perfect for starting the day right. My room was cozy and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. While there were slight signs of wear-and-tear here and there, they didn't affect my overall positive experience. Overall, Movenpick Hotel Doha provides a fantastic balance between price and quality, especially recommended for those looking for quick and relaxing breaks while enjoying the city's charm."

"O hotel fica a apenas 20 metros da estação de metrô, que conecta as linhas Ouro, Vermelha e Verde, facilitando muito o deslocamento. A comunidade de arte árabe moderna em frente ao hotel é fantástica e vale a pena explorá-la. Além dessa comunidade, encontram-se mercados árabes tradicionais e a mesquita flutuante projetada por I.M. Pei. O hotel dispõe de sauna, piscina e academia. O preço é bastante razoável. Inicialmente, imaginei que seria antigo e decadente, mas, na realidade, as instalações são muito bem conservadas."

Its impressive facilities, top-notch customer service, and prime location combine to create an outstanding hospitality experience—one that I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Qatar."

"Serviço muito bom. O Sr. Jonathan foi muito gentil e me cedeu o quarto para fazer o check-in às 8h, em vez de me deixar esperando até as 15h. O quarto é limpo e tem uma vista linda. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e sempre sorridentes. Voltarei ao Catar e acredito que escolherei este hotel novamente. Obrigado a todos."

"Wonder Palace Hotel, Doha I stayed at this hotel but decided to leave due to two main issues: 1. Late Checkout Problem – They strictly ask guests to check out by 12 PM and do not allow even a 30-minute extension. This is not flexible or guest-friendly, especially for frequent travelers. 2. Parking Issue – The hotel does not provide valet parking. No driver or parking assistant is available during day or night. The hotel has only 27 parking spots in the B1 basement and around 6 in front of the building, which are usually full. So we are forced to park far away and walk back to the hotel – very inconvenient, especially with luggage or in hot weather. Why can’t the hotel keep just two valet drivers – one for the daytime and one for night? This is a basic service that many hotels manage easily. If they really don’t have drivers, I’m happy to provide one from my own company. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their services for future guests."
