"Very convenient hotel for those travelling by train. They were really nice and prepared take away breakfasts for us at 6:30 because our train was leaving before the breakfast opens in the morning. There is a good restaurant called Baifushun teahouse nearby to eat noodles for lunch and barbecue in the evening. Right down the hotel on the right, there is a convenience store. I really liked the 2 paintings in the room. I recommend this hotel who is very close to the railway and bus station."

"I booked a room with a window. I spent more than friends to have a better room. However their cheap room had a window but mine did not. Instead it had a glass wall that looked into the hallway. When I first arrived the room door was open. They solved that problem and my friends and I went out to eat. When we returned (3 hours after checking in) none of our room keys worked. I had to go downstairs to reception twice to get it working. Then at breakfast a man started smoking in the breakfast area and no one stopped him. I would pass on this hotel the next time I’m in Xining."

"The hotel room and its bathroom are very large spacious and they would meet four star hotel standard if they were kept clean and well maintained. But the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be changed and only one (and two later) out of four elevators was (were) working that caused big problems when all room were occupied. Guest reported the problem to the local police and a second elevator started to work one day later. Overall a great asset but very poor managed."

"Great location and very good service from front door and the cleaner Warmly asked us for anything we need and try to fulfill our requirement at their best We requested water for drinking and hanger to hang our clothes after washing and dry with dryer and the hotel management helped us with it. The room is big enough for 5 pax and clean Breakfast provided for every day too."

"Clean room, good location, helpful staff who printed a document for me and tried to arrange courier service. I would definitely come back. Only thing is that the breakfast is just okay and no coffee. Need to pay separately for coffee."

"The Hanting Hotel Xining Railway Station Zhongfayuan is a brand-new Hanting 4.0 location, and I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel boasts a superb location, very close to the train station, making transfers and catching trains incredibly convenient. The Zhongfayuan commercial area is right downstairs, with a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores, so you don't have to go far for food or shopping. The guest rooms are newly renovated and bright, meticulously cleaned, with no unpleasant odors in the corners. Each room has individual air conditioning, allowing for independent temperature adjustments. The mattresses are of medium firmness, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the blackout curtains provide excellent light control in the morning. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, a stable 24-hour hot water supply, and ample water pressure from the showerhead. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, checking you in efficiently and patiently answering any questions. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, which is especially useful for travelers on long journeys. The public areas are clean and quiet, creating a comfortable overall atmosphere. It offers excellent value for money, making it suitable for both tourists transiting through the Qinghai-Gansu loop and business travelers. If I ever visit Xining again, I will definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!"

"The location was quiet enough so there's no traffic noise. It's close to shops and restaurants. But to find the entrance to the hotel was confusing because it's at the back of the building. The room is very old and they tried to decorate it with an American theme with old furniture. But the walls seem to have recently been re-painted. The jacuzzi might suit some people but we find it a waste of space. One of the staff speaks English so it's a bonus. Breakfast was good with a variety of selections."

"Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff."
