I came to Shanxi following the Black Myth route, and this homestay really amazed me! The night view inside Boya Residence is so photogenic that every shot feels like a blockbuster movie! It is one kind of scenery during the day, and it is another kind of scenery when you come back from the busiest main street and enter the courtyard at night. It is really beautiful, absolutely stunning. I took a lot of great photos in the courtyard, and I didn't have to retouch them. The courtyard was really comfortable and quiet. It was really leisurely to have a cup of tea in the courtyard and enjoy this moment of tranquility. Every detail in the room of this store is really pleasing. The beautiful boss will stand from the perspective of the guests to prepare everything in the room. This trip to Pingyao Ancient City is really worth it. When you come to Pingyao, you must stay in the courtyard of the beautiful sister's house, which is also an ancient courtyard with a history of the Qing Dynasty.

Os quartos eram limpos e arrumados, e o pátio era tranquilo e silencioso. Se precisar pernoitar na Cidade Antiga de Pingyao, esta é a melhor opção. Excellent stay, perfect location in the middle of the anscient city. The owner is very helpful and flexible. He helped us to arrange oir visit to meishan mountain and helped with anything we needed. The room was clean, modern, and hot water was abundant with good pressure. I would come back anytime.

This is a brand new hotel. Everything works well in the room, and the smart AI assistant is both amusing and practical in controlling room functions. The room furnishings are of good quality. The hotel is an amazing location, as it is just a short walk to the ancient city as well as the You Qian Ping Yao show, which is highly recommended. The hotel staff will book the tickets for you at a slight discount and it is not part of the hotel package, whichl makes it appear to be free. There are many eateries next to the hotel, and there is even a night food street just 100m away, but it was only open during the weekends during my stay in winter. There is also a big supermarket about 300m away, and many bakeries and bubble tea joints. There are plenty of food options.. Most importantly, the owner will fetch you to and fro from the train station. The hotel staff are also very warm and friendly, and will make you feel most welcome. The hotel owner also provided a humidifier, which really provided me much relief from the low humidity Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Very good location. Within the old town and close to many attractions and to the lower west gate where taxis can drop passengers. Very good services from staff. The hotel was converted from an old mansion which is a tourist attraction in itself. Do note that there are steps between the entrance and most rooms. Also, our room was over two floors. While these steps and stairs do not bother us it is something to note.

O hotel está localizado na cidade antiga. Não fica longe das ruas principais e das atrações, mas em uma área mais tranquila, longe do barulho. O pátio é ótimo para relaxar ou tirar fotos. A equipe é super prestativa e atenciosa. Eles nos ajudaram com tudo, desde nos apresentar a cidade antiga até providenciar transporte para nós e nossas malas grandes, e até nos ajudaram a tirar algumas fotos. Um agradecimento especial a Fanny e Helen por tornarem nossa viagem ainda mais maravilhosa!

My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was absolutely beautiful and allowed me to experience the authentic atmosphere of traditional China. It was thoughtfully divided into a living area and a sleeping area, making it both spacious and comfortable. The elegant furniture, decorations, and sculptures added a unique charm to the room. The bathroom was excellent as well, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower. The staff at the reception spoke English very well, making communication easy throughout my stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions of beautiful Pingyao. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the heart of the city.
