"The owner was very friendly and responsive. We contacted them to ask for direction to the accommodation and they gave clear direction. Do have wechat app available on Yr phone for communication with them. The owner personally fetched us from the bus stop. She gave us very good advice on how to tour ard putuo shan. She even helped to send our luggage to the port on our last day. Very good personalized service."

"Overall experience was good.
20mins walk from putuo jetty and also puji temple. It's in between these 2 locations. Easy to find vege food as well.
Soundproof not too good but generally was quite calm at night. Sometimes people checkout or leave the room quite early in the morning you will hear some sound from outside.
Room is clean and quite clean.
Guesthouse owners are nice and friendly"

"When I came to Zhoushan to step on thunder all the way, it was very random to choose this hotel. I didn't expect the price to be cheap, the breakfast was good, and the most important thing was that the clean bedding was comfortable to sleep. Although I won't come to Zhoushan again and won't come to Nansha, this is the only light in the tired journey. Very recommended"

The B&B near to some restaurants, little noisy at night but they have soundproof windows therefore no issue at all.

The view is very good, each room faces the sea, and the facilities in the room are very new, modern and very convenient. Este hotel era tão limpo, o serviço diário era cuidadoso, mesmo com as minhas crianças areias que entravam da praia, cada vez que voltámos para a sala, era inspotável.O proprietário do hotel foi acima e para além para nos ajudar a compreender o autocarro e a reserva de ferry, Ele deu as melhores pistas para onde ir e para ver.A ilha estava ocupada, mas encontramos as praias vazias e as crianças estavam brincando com as ondas. Eu vou Voltar e recomendo que todos querem relaxar.

SShirleyanI stayed in Other People House on my second night. This is an excellent place to stayI stayed in Other People House on my second night. This is an excellent place to stay as it offer a great view overlooking the beach and harbor. The vibe is very different from my first night stay which happened to be next door neighbor. The people here know what makes the customer happy, they upgrade our room when it is not full occupancy. This place is more homely and comfy and you can just chose to laze around on the ground floor in front of the big projector screen to watch a movie or at a quiet long table for reading, or just to day dream while looking out at the sea. The precinct has a nice cozy area for meals too.

IIp Eda我會比足101分，東主郝先生的辛勞，熱情款待，另到有家的溫馨。他的細心顧及照顧客人十分無微不至。
我們訂的房間是一普通的雙人房，因為當時同一層有六伙房間，他恐怕這六伙的朋友太嘈雜，會另到我倆夫婦影響睡覺，所以upgraded 我們到另外一座別墅，如附圖的照片，我們真的十分感恩🙏，出路遇貴人，我們連住二晚，因為早上會出蜈蚣碼頭坐渡輪去普陀山，他又辛勞的鴽車送大家一齊出碼頭，十分仰慕他的辛勞及感恩。
真是不是一間普通民宿，細心看圖，是一間溫馨的別墅，我介紹推廣給我的朋友，他們也👏👏大讚不絕。
至於飲食，十分方便，無論行前或行後，大約15分鐘左右，海鮮臨立，十分多選擇。下次會再來享受舒適的假期。

OOrangelilihStayed there for two nights between 23-25 Dec with two friends. The family room has two double beds and a private bathroom, and is spacious enough for three of us. We were very happy with our stay and will recommend it.
- The room was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and the shower worked perfectly. Can't fault it
- Location - The B&B is in a residential complex off Mei Qin Road, about 10 mins walk from the wharf and Puji Temple. 2 mins from the bus stop. Very convenient
- The host Xiao Xiong was intentative and very helpful. It was our first time to Putuo Island, she gave us great advice about how to get around and which temples to visit
If I were to nitpick, the sound proof was poor. However, the B&B is in the middle of the complex and Dec is off season, the noise was tolerable.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

QQingqiuruhuatuikeaiThe boss is very nice, and there are two lovely volunteer sisters. It's fun like a dream. The boss and the two lovely volunteer sisters live a loving life by the sea. I like their atmosphere very much. I want to give my cat to the boss sister so that the cat can live a good life. Although it is a youth hostel, it is no worse than a hotel. (The hotels on the island are of varying quality. Instead of spending five or six hundred to find a so-so one, it is better to have the boss sister's youth hostel.) The house is warm and romantic, and there is a breath of life everywhere. It's so romantic to face the sea and watch them paint.

UUsuário convidadoThe hotel does offer a sea view as advertised, but it is more of a port view rather than a scenic ocean view. The rooms are not clean enough, we noticed that the air vents were extremely dusty. When we turned on the air conditioning, there was a noticeable dusty odor, making it difficult to breathe, which forced us to turn it off despite the cold weather.
Additionally, the towels provided were not up to standard—some were visibly aged, worn out, and even torn. This significantly impacted the overall comfort of our stay. Improving towel quality and ensuring better air vent maintenance would greatly enhance the guest experience.
