It was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️

The homestay is a short walk from the bus stop (for buses No Red 1 and No 2 from the main Kinmen town of Jincheng) and a 7-11 convenience store. The traditional Fujian building is beautiful and an attraction in itself, with an atmospheric courtyard where guests could chill with coffee and/or a meal. But it has been newly renovated with modern amenities, and the place is very clean and well kept. The host was warm and really very helpful. When he heard that we wanted to walk up Mt Taiwu, he drove us to the start of the walking trail. He also gave us a contact for a taxi driver in case we needed a ride back. And when he learnt that we were tracing our ancestors, he brought us to meet an elder who might have a family register. Really thankful to have met a host like him.

The hotel clearly pays attention to detail, ensuring every guest enjoys the same level of luxury. The room layout was practical yet stylish. There was ample space between the beds, allowing us to move freely without feeling cramped. A well‑placed desk provided a convenient spot to catch up on emails or jot down travel notes, while the seating area offered a cozy corner to relax with a cup of tea. The lighting was warm and adjustable, creating a welcoming atmosphere whether we wanted to read, work, or simply unwind. Cleanliness was impeccable. The housekeeping team maintained the room to the highest standard, with fresh towels, spotless surfaces, and a bathroom that gleamed. The bathroom itself was modern, equipped with a powerful shower, quality toiletries, and plenty of counter space. It felt more like a spa than a standard hotel washroom, adding an extra layer of indulgence to our stay. Noise insulation was another pleasant surprise. Despite being in a bustling city, the room was wonderfully quiet. We slept soundly each night without disturbance, which made a huge difference in how refreshed we felt each morning. The air conditioning system was efficient yet unobtrusive, keeping the temperature perfect without any distracting hum. Service throughout the stay was consistently excellent. Staff members were attentive, friendly, and eager to help, whether it was arranging transportation, offering local recommendations, or simply greeting us with a smile. Their professionalism elevated the experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Location also deserves mention. The hotel is situated conveniently close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet the room itself felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle. It struck the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. In summary, the twin room provided everything we hoped for and more: comfort, cleanliness, thoughtful design, and outstanding service. It was the perfect choice for two travelers seeking both privacy and shared enjoyment. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, whether they are visiting for business, leisure, or a combination of both. The twin room is proof that luxury and practicality can coexist seamlessly, and it turned our trip into an experience we will fondly remember.

I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic. Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again.

The first time I stayed at Golden Gate Guxuan B&B, it was really special. Eighty-eight ancient art is well preserved, and it feels like a golden gate as soon as you come in. Because there is a vacant room boss to help me wait for the big room, The room was clean and comfortable, the boss was very kind, and he also introduced a lot of delicious and attractions. The location of the homestay is also very good, about 5 minutes drive from the city, Carrefour, 7-11 are very close, and it is very convenient to go to various attractions. This time I lived very comfortably, I highly recommend everyone to come to Golden Gate to play, and I also recommend staying in 88 Ancient Art!

下訂後打電話都沒人接原以為會被放鳥，在checkin時間內到達住宿位置，發現原來是有開，接待小姐姐很親切的介紹環境，房間乾淨舒適，真是不可多得的住宿點。

pros: 1. Located in city center and walkable to everywhere. 2. Free transportation from and to the port 3. Bed and room cleanness is okay Cons: 1. Soundproof not very well, was weakened by others guests talking outsides. 2. Shampoo, shower gel and toliet tissue quality not good. 3. The shower holder can’t change direction that you have to hold it one hand all the time during shower. And not dry/wet separation in the bathroom.
