The hotel overall is amazing. Pros: Very nice room with wide balcony, facilities are great, there is ATM BCA inside the hotel (very nice), beside the small palace which has historical value (great one), beside big mall either, nice pool, good garden, hospitality of staffs, and located near center of Jogja. Cons: Shower selection problem (need maintenance/replace), parking way to turn on inside parking building is smaller than ideal (hard to turn for Pajero, Fortuner or big cars). But the total rank is vety good. Thanks.

Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you

Como membro da Accor Hotels, reservo hotéis Mercure em Jacarta e em outros países em geral. Aqui, fiquei 2 noites neste Grand Mecure, Yog Yakartha. Primeiramente, este hotel é super bonito e decorado, valorizando a cultura e as placas de patrimônio. Em todos os lugares, os artefatos do hotel combinam com o patrimônio de Borobudur e Prambanan. A equipe é muito simpática, educada e sempre com um sorriso no rosto, prestativa e prestativa. Os quartos são excelentes. Destaque especial para o café da manhã. Você tem várias opções, incluindo comidas e bebidas ocidentais, orientais e tradicionais da Indonésia. Acho que as melhores opções de café da manhã que já vi até agora. A equipe do restaurante também é muito simpática. A equipe do bar também é muito boa. Ela, de alguma forma, conseguiu fornecer comida e bebidas no último momento ontem à noite. Além disso, a equipe de segurança também é simpática e prestativa. Mesmo sendo um pouco longe da Rua Malioboro, a estadia aqui vale muito a pena.

Over the course of 2 day stay, we had to switch room 3 times before getting a proper room (the 4th room) without any issues. The issues were ranging from broken toilet flush, strong humid/musty strong room smell, old musty sheets and towels in the room, etc. The staff at the front desk were helpful, but we left feeling unimpressed by the experience.

Menu sarapan yaitu Nasi gorengnya, menurut saya, enak dan pas di lidah. Utk kamar agak sempit ya. Kebetulan di lantai 3 viewnya atap bangunan sebelah hotel.

Only 2 good things about this hotel: service and breakfast spread - these are 5 stars! 👍 The rest are not up to expectations. 1. Location is far from town and airport. 2. Amenities are very old. A lot of things are spoiled and yet not replaced or repaired. 3. Because everything is old and dated, they look dirty too. Bedsheets are full of stains! 4. Water pressure of shower is very low. Take a long time to bathe. I booked here just because the event I was going to was hosted in this hotel. Glad that I didn’t extend my stay after the event. I am sorry but I won’t recommend this hotel.

I am going to my sister graduation, this hotel is near uin jogja and I really loved all the new facilities ************* will be back soon.

The hotel feels a bit old, the lobby is OK, but the lighting in the room is too dim and I'm not used to it. The service staff is very good. My friend left the things he brought in the lobby and almost forgot about them when we left. Thanks for reminding me.

Overall is good. The facilities are a bit old. But it does not affect normal use. Most of the time is also outside. Our family is also informal. Mainly the children can play more happily. When you rest, you can chat in the yard or eat together. The service is also very good. Everything is the first time to reply.

Hotel dengan bangunan lama yang terletak di Kaliurang, apabila tujuan Anda adalah Lava Merapi Tour maka ini hotel yang sangat direkomendasikan. Kamarnya bersih dan luas walaupun perlu ada peningkatan kualitas untuk beberapa item di kamar mandi. Secara keselurahan ini adalah hotel yang sangat bagus dengan kisaran harganya. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
