LOOKING FOR CONVENIENT AND MEMORABLE STAY IN YOGYAKARTA ? Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you

Front desk is friendly but lack care or professionalism. Waited a while without being told that the golf cart was already there. My wife slipped at the high staircase where the mat skidded because of water beneath. It was scary to imagine what could have happened. Told the front desk a, she did not care or show any concern. TV had no channels. The housekkeping restaurant staff were very very sweet but unprofessional was the pool area. No one there knew how to go all the way through to complete their job in a satisfying manner. When leaving the front desk guy did not ask if we gave deposit or id. Just waiting for us to forget. The best: bathroom, the woods, the bed, the pool, room service, resto is not bad, but pizzas sold out and NO SPA, why? for the price we paid in the holidays. This spa trick, unfortunately, many hotels play it.

We enjoyed our stay here with excellent service with a smile always. The room is very spacious and clean although the floor is not carpeted. The housekeeping services were prompt and exceeded our expectations and special mention to the staff Andri. This hotel is well centrally located next to the shopping mall and my room has an awesome view of the Merapi. However, the breakfast selections and tastes still have room for improvement. Also, the towels provided a little worn out and discoloured.

Ms. Indah & Ms. Bertha the receptionist who helped during check-in process also Mr. Isdiono the security was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The other hotel staffs I've met such as the chef, room boy, and the office worker also very friendly and helpful. As this hotel has a very large area, sometimes you may ask direction to the hotel staff. This hotel is new so the room condition is super good, comfortable, and clean. The pillow was very big, soft, and comfy. Each non-smoking guest room features a flat-screen HDTV, coffee/ tea maker, mini-refrigerator, desk, sleeper sofa, safe, slippers, robes, bath products, hair dryer, bottled water, and a very fast wi-fi connection. Beside this hotel there is Wyndham Garden Hotel & Conference and Sooji the instagrammable restaurant. Stay active with jogging and BMX tracks, a gym, outdoor pool, and outdoor children's play area. Como membro da Accor Hotels, reservo hotéis Mercure em Jacarta e em outros países em geral. Aqui, fiquei 2 noites neste Grand Mecure, Yog Yakartha. Primeiramente, este hotel é super bonito e decorado, valorizando a cultura e as placas de patrimônio. Em todos os lugares, os artefatos do hotel combinam com o patrimônio de Borobudur e Prambanan. A equipe é muito simpática, educada e sempre com um sorriso no rosto, prestativa e prestativa. Os quartos são excelentes. Destaque especial para o café da manhã. Você tem várias opções, incluindo comidas e bebidas ocidentais, orientais e tradicionais da Indonésia. Acho que as melhores opções de café da manhã que já vi até agora. A equipe do restaurante também é muito simpática. A equipe do bar também é muito boa. Ela, de alguma forma, conseguiu fornecer comida e bebidas no último momento ontem à noite. Além disso, a equipe de segurança também é simpática e prestativa. Mesmo sendo um pouco longe da Rua Malioboro, a estadia aqui vale muito a pena.

Over the course of 2 day stay, we had to switch room 3 times before getting a proper room (the 4th room) without any issues. The issues were ranging from broken toilet flush, strong humid/musty strong room smell, old musty sheets and towels in the room, etc. The staff at the front desk were helpful, but we left feeling unimpressed by the experience.

I am going to my sister graduation, this hotel is near uin jogja and I really loved all the new facilities ************* will be back soon.

Only 2 good things about this hotel: service and breakfast spread - these are 5 stars! 👍 The rest are not up to expectations. 1. Location is far from town and airport. 2. Amenities are very old. A lot of things are spoiled and yet not replaced or repaired. 3. Because everything is old and dated, they look dirty too. Bedsheets are full of stains! 4. Water pressure of shower is very low. Take a long time to bathe. I booked here just because the event I was going to was hosted in this hotel. Glad that I didn’t extend my stay after the event. I am sorry but I won’t recommend this hotel.

Hotel dengan bangunan lama yang terletak di Kaliurang, apabila tujuan Anda adalah Lava Merapi Tour maka ini hotel yang sangat direkomendasikan. Kamarnya bersih dan luas walaupun perlu ada peningkatan kualitas untuk beberapa item di kamar mandi. Secara keselurahan ini adalah hotel yang sangat bagus dengan kisaran harganya. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
