Hotéis perto de St. Patrick＇s Church, Sliema

Thanks to Etienne, Pritzan (sorry if i didn't spell it correctly) and everyone that i encountered. My stay has been wonderful and i was treated with professionalism and kindness by every member of the staff. The hotel is wonderful and very well located. Good in every sense.

After much deliberation for location and hotel for our stay in Malta we chose 'The Regency Plaza, Sliema*' and after a fantastic week here we know that we chose well. Very happy with the hotel from the reception - happy to help with anything and everything, baggage storage (until our room was ready), our room, the bed, the view, the pool (outdoor one is blooming cold but who cares!), the breakfast choice to most importantly, location! It's important to know that *Sliema is massive and where the ferries go from. This hotel is quite a distance from there (although easily walkable) and is actually situated in Exiles Bay (Bus stop is actually Antik - right outside the hotel) a much quieter and prettier area. We were put on the 5th floor and were so glad as the views were superb and also the outside noise isn't as intense, but the sliding door to the balcony is very effective at cutting out the noise anyway. I loved to sit and watch the world go by early morning and evening - people jogging, walking, taking dogs for a walk or the may electric scooters whizzing by. We had no trouble sleeping nor did we hear any other noise (like music or road traffic etc). There are a couple of nice bars/restaurants opposite the hotel and directly out of the hotel entrances (yes, there are two receptions and entrances) is a pizza place (which you walk through to get in) and a Costa Coffee shop. Our room was a reasonable size and had all the amenities we needed - safe, hairdryer, plenty storage, a nice shower (but you do have to pay extra for coffee making facilities) but the toilet took forever to re-fill after a flush - a tad annoying but nothing I'd really moan about. The shower had some marks on the grouting but overall the room was very clean and the maids came everyday. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains ensured a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a very, very typical European hotel offering. Cooked sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes etc. Plenty choice of break, fruit, meats and cheese. Lovely fresh cooked warm croissants with a choice of jams, chocolate sauce and more. Coffee and juice via machines and waitresses very efficently cleaning up after you as soon as you are done, so no clutter of plates on tables etc. As mention, the top floor swimming pool was excellent but really cold. We found this both bracing and refreshing on the warmer days, plenty of sunloungers, a pool bar and mutliple level seating (as there are two sides to the hotel, you can cross over). We got a 7 day bus travel card for €21 each and we used them to death as it is so simple to get anywhere on the island by bus. They are clean, frequent and convenient. The bus stops are right outside the hotel for either direction. They can get full during 'rush hours' but that's always part of the charm of travel by bus we find! Perfect location. Clean room. Great service. Good view. But.... I visited in March when it was very cold. No heating and the sliding door had many gaps where the wind whistled in so my two nights were very cold and no additional blankets.

It was awesome! Best vacations ever !! We’ve met so many nice people, it was a really cool experience! The welcome was perfect! The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean ! Thank you all for this ! We have already planned to come back !:) Eden and Mara :) from France

Trying to escape the festa of St Julian's we took a room facing the marina (thinking we'd avoid the pool screams and any other party noise). Unfortunately, marina king rooms are located right above jacuzzi rooms apparently frequented by families with small kids who enjoy a good splashing time morning or night. The loud persistent jacuzzi bubbling and the lack of sound isolation from the rooms below were definitely an unwelcome/major downside. Other bits that changed since the previous stays: The AC has a very delayed action - takes for it a while to turn on. The WIFI connection was bad (slow and irregular). The fridge door did not close/open properly. It seems that the hotel has changed the mattresses - they used to be more comfortable to sleep on (now on the harder side).

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Inhawi is chock-full of digital nomads and students; what this means is that there are a LOT of people staying here long-term, which in turn means that it has a kind of small community / uni atmosphere. The hostel itself is in a brilliant location; the building is beautiful, with big open spaces. It's also super clean and has a really nice kitchen with three (very full!) refrigerators where guests can store food. I would *very* highly recommend getting a room upstairs, as the kitchen / common area gets quite boisterous at night, with people staying up and drinking until the wee hours of the morning. Due to the acoustics, rooms which are right off of the common area are inundated with the laughter and talking of late-night partiers. With a friendly staff, great complimentary breakfast, and clean rooms (and smart layout), I'd stay here again... I would just choose a room which would allow for better sleep.

There are spiders on the walls of the room, and mosquitoes in the room have been flying, which is really unbearable. The living environment feels damp and a bit dirty. The bathroom is not too clean. There is no hair dryer in the public area, but many youth hostels provide hair dryers. The lights in the bathroom often go out, and the lights suddenly go out after taking a shower. The roommate was very noisy, still calling at one or two in the middle of the night, and didn't sleep well for three days. Except for the great attitude of the service staff, everything else is very general. Will not come again in the future.

Really lovely hotel. Clean. Great location. Close enough to all the great attractions and shops but far enough from all the noise so you still get a great night's sleep. Fantastic service from everyone at Hyatt from the receptionists (Ben and I didn't get the name of the lady who worked with him but I think it may have been Laura?) to the doorman Hoque. Would highly recommend. PS lovely sunset from the 11th floor where the pool is

The hotel is very new, and the first impression of the hardware is very good👍The room is quiet but the service is average. (first four pictures) I stayed for four nights and only received 2 bottles of water on the first night. They explained that they would only be provided on the first night. Coffee and tea in the mini bar were no longer provided starting from the second night. They explained that they had forgotten it and finally provided them on the fourth day. But the sugar scattered on the table also spilled out (the last two pictures). These two points make the hotel service very cheap! Also: I really don’t like the old lady in charge of tourist reception at the front desk. I wanted to ask where to take the sightseeing bus, but she didn’t want to answer and instead asked me if I had bought a ticket. Does that mean you bought a ticket before answering? Breakfast is also good!
