We were looking for functional accommodation between Kyoto and Tokyo in a non-touristic area without high expectations and we were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. Nice hotel, pleasant staff. There is an onsen in the hotel included in the price. good breakfast Plenty of parking near the hotel, quiet city.

Shizuoka Airport is five kilometers away because the flight cancels the temporary reservation. The medium room, said to be two people, is actually a single room, of course, the bed is 1.5 meters. There are a lot of supermarkets and drugstores in the 10 minutes walk, as well as McDonald's and ramen shops.

The hotel itself is a bit old, it can be seen from the room facilities, but not too much in the small place of Shimada.
