We stayed at Atour twice between 10th to 17th of October booking the Executive Room. The reception gave us a free upgrade the second time with a bigger room with balcony. Appreciate the gesture.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is walking distance from The Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Very near to Yu Garden too. Which are the must-visit places for tourists. We were able to walk to these places in a short time.
The rooms were clean and the toiletries provided were of high quality. My wife especially loved the jasmine-taste toothpaste. Breakfast was excellent and at a very reasonable price. I really enjoyed the different dishes Chinese or Western. My favourite was the steamed dumplings. Free Night porridge made available between 9.30pm to 11pm was really something special. Although simple but it is a really thoughtful gesture to travellers who may need extra nutrition or filling up of the stomach before retiring for the night.
The hotel lobby and lounge felt homely. There is a small library with interesting titles for guests with more time to spare. I found some interesting read.
The staff were polite and very friendly. I made a call from Malaysia a few days before my stay and a nice chap Mr Han Chao took the trouble to confirm that my booking was OK calling me back after searching for some time.
On the whole it was a very pleasant stay, and I will certainly choose Atour at Fuzhou Road again on our next trip to Shanghai.

Very clean and modern room (4th floor). Had a nice view. Location is great too, very close to Nanjing shopping street. Easy access to metro stations Nanjing Lu East and People’s square. A lots of restaurants in the area if you want to eat Chinese food (noodles, rice etc.). The staff is friendly and helpful. Specially the girl at the reception when my flight was cancelled. She helped me to call the airline to ask for an English speaking person, to get info on the cancellation. And also grateful that I could extend my room for 1 more night (but the rate was higher). It would be nice if the staff speak more English for foreigner tourists (non Chinese speaking tourists). Luckily Xiao Chao speaks some English and he is kind. Free water all the time. There is a free laundry room (self service) 24hrs. Received a bottle of water and a small gift when I checked out.
Would definitely recommend the hotel.

It's rated as 4 star according to trip.com, but we felt it's not up to the 4 star standard! We live the location (very convenient to the bund and nanjing walking streets), we love the rooms, very clean, smell nice and comfortable! We love the housekeeping - clean and attentive. BUT, the staff professionalism and service standards are really average.
- i made bookings 3 weeks in agave m advance and sent 2 requests prior to check in but NEVER get replies from the hotel. For a 4 star hotel it's unprofessional.
- i need help to getting a wheelchair for my 81 years old mum, only to be brushed off by the staff at reception and the so- called helpful wechat customer service support with unhelpful and uncompassionate replies. They did not offer to help in any manner no matter how urgent my request was.
- there were only 2 lifts and hence very long waiting time
- the walkways to the lifts and on M floor to the breakfast restaurant look and feel like an abandoned walk way, don't feel like in a 4 star hotel at all! Really sub standard.
The overall customer service experience i have is really not satisfactory. I think this is common in the Shanghai low hospitality and crudeness, which is a shame as shanghai is such a nice city, the ppl should be nicer too!
Elong should really improve on the staff professionalism, customer service and helpfulness - high standards should be strive in hospitality. And we paid very high price for the rooms!!!!

The location is great right 8n the center of Nan Jing walking street. Unfortunately there's should have a side rail for guest to bring up their half floor luggage up. Others things were all great. There's full equip self free laundry room. No worries of shortage clothing

Fantastic hotel with modern vibes. Location is a 5 minutes away from a train station and has multiple eateries nearby. The adjoining Macdonalds offers a quick fix, right at the doorstep.
Hotel furnishing and cleanliness and are great. As with many hotels in China, this one also has a robo delivery service that sends delivered food straight to your room. Delivery time after arrival at hotel should vary as there is only 1 robot on site.
The mall beside the hotel is also worth a visit. Location is a 15-20 min walk to the Shanghai Bund.

1. Friendly staff and smooth check in, but apologized that we would rate the service 4.5 due to the hotel butler that we met is not really friendly. The hotel butler doesn't accept our wechat request even though he asked us to send him a friend request as can text him if we need helps. Except him, the rest staffs are really helpful and always ready to help. Very appreciated and thank you 杉 for fulfilled our last minute airport transfer (it's FREE) request and our request on return back the parcel.
2. Restaurants, train station and airport nearby, very convenient!
3. Refrigerator is not really working maybe, hope they can check and improve it.
4. Rooms got some humid smell, but still acceptable after spray it with perfume. Cleanliness approved and room very spacious. Xiao Du not really updated, but new tech toilet bowl very good 👍
5. No washing machine provided but you can ask for laundry service.
6. Free supper buffet (21:30 ~ 23:40) and free breakfast buffet (6:00 ~ 10:00). Variety of foods are good and very delicious.
7. Parcels can be collected on behalf. There is a parcel storage room but it's quite messy and you need some times to find your parcel, staffs are always there to help!
8. Cleaner very friendly and very aggressive. Stand iron and foot bath bucket (come with a free packet of herbal) can be requested.
9. Free Disneyland transfer 2 ways, can be booked in advance.
Overall, we feel really worth to spend our 3 days 2 nights at this hotel. Will be back again in future! 😃

24號晚九點多入住，訂的普通大床房，因為一個人住，跟前台説離電梯遠一點的房間，都滿了，前台給升級了豪華大床房，房間大，還有一個露台，因為天氣熱，出行急沒帶換洗的衣服，洗掉的衣服沒地方掛，陽台這麼大，如果有個晾衣繩就好了，還有第一次見這種開關按鈕，個人有點不大適應

The room is large and spacious, fully equipped with sofas and tables, and meets the standards of a star-rated hotel. However, the bathroom facilities are a bit poor. The toilet is large and the lid is small, which is obviously not suitable. The water from the faucet (basin faucet and shower head) is too small, which makes bathing uncomfortable. The exhaust switch in the bathroom cannot be judged whether it is on or off. There was no sound, and it didn't turn on or off like a light bulb. There was a smell of smoke on the bedding. Because we were only staying for one day, we were done with it and didn't bother with it. The breakfast was rich and the coffee was very good! The overall environment is pretty good.

👉Pillows, blanket & bed are very comfortable for good sleep.
👉room air-cond functioning well unfortunately on the last nite air-cond was not working & it was so stuffy that we didn’t sleep well though the doorman cum handle man provide us with 2 fans.

SSubash LHotel is located pretty near to Pudong Airport, making way to the airport fast and convenient.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is really good. Save space for the tasty pastries and cakes.
Front desk service is great, nice and helpful. They assisted me order take-out pizza online and delivered to hotel after a long day at the Disneyland Park. The hotel arranged a birthday cake for us prior to our arrival and at very reasonable price (cake was baked inhouse).
If you take the effort and time to communicate with staff, you will achieve the assistance you require from the hotel team. Downloading a “Translation App” and “We-Chat” is highly recommended if you cannot communicate in Mandarin.
Please book your Disneyland drop-off and pickup shuttle 24 hour prior and register yourself with the “We-Chat” group (There is a QR code at the front desk). The hotel’s private guide on the bus ensured my family got through the park gate and registered at the park guest services.
Tip! if you need to communicate with the hotel staff prior to arriving, I found “We-Chat” to be the most convenient way (Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha Mobile WeChat number is ***********).

PpanhoongThis hotel is at a really convenient location. At the heart of the French Concession and yet very quiet. This is my second time staying here, and I think the room from last time was better laid out. The blind was broken, the shower door handle was broken, the floor tiles were creaking. I don’t think the staff speak English, so have a translator app ready.

The only things I found could've been improved or could be better with my stay we're that there was only one chair on my balcony, only one bathrobe and pair of slippers we're prepared s well. There was also a desert prepared in the room, but it was sour.

DDKWThe hotel’s location is very convenient for anyone who wants to fly out from Hongqiao airport; it only takes a few minutes to walk over there.
The service provided is very good. Essentials such as Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. I booked a room with breakfast included, which was a great choice. The breakfast buffet has tons of options to choose from.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Srui Tong arranged found a room with a window for my stay. The room is very clean and quiet ; Two complimentary bottle water are provided.
I had a nice stay, will be back soon.

Cookie at the front desk saw that we were tired from the journey and upgraded the room type and gave us a breakfast! In addition, an air purifier was prepared for the elderly at home. TTrippin’Great experience from check in to check out.. Breakfast buffet available. Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. Will stay again if I make another appointment.
