Also very near to Nanjing Lu & Shanghai Pearl Tower 👍 👉we will also recommend our family & friends to stay at this hotel too 👉Check in staff 吴晓胜 Mr Wu Xiao Sheng is very helpful, friendly & courteous & accord us 2 rooms on the 5th floor 👍 👉doorman was very helpful, courteous & good manners 👍 👉Hotel is very generous to provide unlimited free warm tea, titbits, mints & bottle drinking water at the hotel lobby daily. 👉Hand lotion, plug adapter, kettle, tea+coffee sachets, 3 bottles of drinking water + 2 cans of Coke & Sprite were provided free of charge inside the room. 👉Pillows, blanket & bed are very comfortable for good sleep. 👉room air-cond functioning well unfortunately on the last nite air-cond was not working & it was so stuffy that we didn’t sleep well though the doorman cum handle man provide us with 2 fans.

A fantastic hotel which is perfectly positioned right next to Yu Gardens and a few minutes walk from the Bund view, plus river taxi, 3 mins from the metro for lines 10 (high speed train station line)and 14, and one stop away from the skyscraper stop and the change to line 2 for the maglev and Pudong international airport. Only draw back is that the front desk are not good at giving advice or handing bookings, unlike many hotels. But if you are okay to ask around the city with a translator app and/or use Trip.com to book activities, it is easy to get around and see everything. A perfect base. We made use of the very affordable late check out service (8pm).

Orange Crystal hotel location is neighbours of Yu Yuan garden and only walking distance to The Bund which is a must visit tour destination in Shanghai. Subway station (Yu Yuan) is just opposite across the street, therefore you can reach as many destinations as you want. Furthermore surrounding the hotel there are abundant shops selling various types of food, convenience shops and even a tattoo parlour is closed. The front desk staff are friendly, polite and professional, when I check in the lady seriously finds me two rooms on the same floor since we're family and the other staff offer hot tea as we arrive. This kind of hospitality is hard to find in a common hotel. Last but not least the hotel is well maintained, clean, equipped with fresh and modern facilities, they also provide breakfast, plenty of mineral water, soft drinks, coffee and tea powder. The hotel is worth of money and I will stay again when I visit Shanghai in the future

A great hotel! Located conveniently 8 minutes from Yu Yuan on foot giving great access to the entire city. Cleanliness was of high quality, as was the service. Many rooms offer amazing views of the city famous skyline. Prices are very fair for Shanghai Would love to stay again!

This is the perfect location to see some of the most iconic places in Shanghai and do a quick escape whenever the crowds of tourist get too overwhelming. Yu Garden is literally just around the corner. Personnel is friendly and practical - we like their relaxed vibe. There is a terrace to enjoy the view and have some drinks if you want, a restaurant and some useful machines with snacks and toiletries. Our room was clean with all the basic amenities, plus a convenient fridge to store snacks and a couch to enjoy the view from the window. The design is fresh modern practical smart. The cute robot doing room service offers to take a selfie with you when delivering your orders :). Both the lobby and the terrace could be tidier and look more stylish with a bit of effort.

the hotel's location couldn't be better. Situated in ChengHuang Temple, The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests.However, one major downside was the lack of network coverage inside the rooms. This proved to be quite inconvenient, especially for travelers who rely on staying connected for work or personal reasons. Despite attempts to reconnect, the signal remained weak or nonexistent throughout my stay.Despite this setback, if you can overlook the connectivity issue, they still offers a comfortable stay with its convenient location and excellent service.

We’re very much happy with everything during the stay. The staffs are so nice and helpful that I couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is in a good location and the room is fantastic. We got room upgraded and our time during the stay is lovely.

I used to stay in the hotel on Nanjing East Road for convenience. This time I wanted to go shopping in Yuyuan and found this one. I want to say that this one is more convenient for traveling. It is right next to the subway station. It is really convenient. It is also within walking distance of the Bund, Yuyuan Garden and Chenghuang Temple. 2 minutes away, there is a small wholesale mall downstairs, where you can buy a lot of clothes, various daily necessities, and all kinds of Shanghai specialties. All the souvenirs I brought back to Taiwan were bought downstairs in the hotel. The handsome guy at the front desk is very welcoming. The room has a microwave, washing machine, locker, large wardrobe, and is an apar**ent hotel. The price was not expensive when I booked it. If you want to go out and play, you can really choose this one. Also, you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the room, and the night view is also very good. I forgot to take a picture of the room, but it was very clean as in other reviews. This is the place I will stay next time I come to Shanghai. I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends who come to Shanghai from Taiwan.

This hotel location is very strategic and staff very friendly, special thanks to frontdesk staff Yvonne to assist us to find 2 rooms in same floor as we come with friends and due to we booked 2 nights separately, she also helped us to combined it so that we do not need to change room again. She also teach us the direction how to walk to Yuyuan, thanks for the great service. There is another staff at level 1 who assisted us to order didi to go to 南京路步行街 but we forgot to ask for his name, thanks alot for your help too. You guys are awesome, keep it up!!!

Great hotel and clean room. It is like you are in your own apartment, the room have. Refrigerator and washing machine. Also they have on the second floor a kitchen for cooking and rest area, even a play room for playstation . It is directly above the laoximen metro station. Next to the hotel also have restaurant, a gym and a working space .

The hotel is about 16 minutes' walk from Chenghuang Temple. The room is on the second floor and there is no elevator. It is a bit difficult to carry heavy luggage. The front desk staff is very friendly and can also simply store non-valuable luggage, which is quite convenient.

1) Reservation: Double room, bathroom 2) Number of visitors: 2 (with boyfriend) The location is close to the subway station, but the entrance is on the side(?) of the building, so it was a bit dirty... You have to go up to the 3rd floor of the building to find the accommodation, but the entire building smells a bit strongly of cigarettes... . Luckily, there wasn't a big smell in the room. They gave you a face towel so you could wipe your face separately, which was nice!! The room condition is not bad, but it is narrow like Japanese accommodations… Great value for money if you are traveling alone! On the first day, I made a reservation to save money and didn't expect much, so it was okay. - Recommended for those who are looking for a place to sleep that saves money and is located in a good location, or for those who come with close same-sex friends for cost-effective price = Recommended - Looking for a place to sleep with a lover or family = Not recommended (of course, I was in a relationship for 5 years, so it didn't really matter...^^, only recommended for couples who have been together for a long time!)

It's a 5-6 minute walk from Yuyuan Station on subway line 10, and a 7-8 minute walk from Dashijie Station on subway line 14. There's a small Family Mart and Luckin Coffee near the hotel, so I think the location is good. They gave us two bottles of water every day if we requested. The room is compact, but they provided toothbrushes and slippers. This time, we were a little late for check-out, but the front desk staff told us there was no need to rush and were very kind in various ways. I'd definitely stay here again if I had the chance to go to Shanghai.
