The Panamby used to be a Great Western where you could stay one night and park for free up to 14 days with a free shuttle bus to the airport 15 minutes away. Then it became the Panamby and they withdrew the free parking and charged 15 reais a night. Last time it was 30 reais a night. Note the room rate does not include parking so always add another 30 reais to your costs. Year by year the prices have gone up but not the quality or the amenities. Last time we stayed, little things had disappeared like free iced water in reception, a pen and paper and glasses in the rooms. The soap has halved, the towels have longevity, being as old as the hotel, a great advert for the towels but not the hotel. The free breakfast is a comprehensive buffet of hot and cold but do not expect quality, just quantity. The food is average at best, so you eat rather than dine. Staff can vary from being friendly to abrupt. Unfortunate;ly this year the prices have suffered yet another large increase so we will look elsewhere to stay.

I loved everything! nice and educated staff, well-variated breakfast, the architecture of the attractive location, the perfect room with views for the Farol Santander, the wonderful towels!! And the shower? ALL!! I hope to come back soon :)

For those who are looking for a hotel in the centre of SP, this may be an option, but don't leave to stay without prior reservation, the value of the balcony is extremely high. I recommend high, mainly because of the lift competition, delayed due to the high demand for staff in shopping on March 25 and Brás. Breakfast is much more or less. Careful walking around the region, it's dangerous, I always recommend Uber, taxi or any vehicle.

We are in a combined room, two rooms with a couple bed and two single beds. Positive points: comfortable, spacious accommodation. It has shampoo and free conditioning and good shower. Breakfast with many options. Chocolate cup bonus to place in the cakes. Parking including with manufacturer and good location, near the Republic station. All educated and performing staff. We need to print a voucher and the reception staff were gentle and helped us promptly. In addition to the common areas, you only travel by your floor (to use the lift you need to have the card). Negative points: Surface cleaning in the room. My daughter used a hair thread on the floor of the room, and the hair was unclean; and I found hair thread on the floor as soon as I arrived; and the bed clothes are rough, old and yellow; and the hairs are bad. In the morning breakfast, they do not clean the tables as they are unoccupied; you sit down to drink coffee on the dirty table; I don't know if all rooms are like that, but in my windows were locked. Very good hotel, with a super careful team, mainly those working for the morning shift,all I needed to resolve without difficulties,have transfer to the airport and a great breakfast, is close to everything, mainly from the center to buy something and visit the church ⛪ our Lady of Conception.

Hotel building is located right beside the police station and the Paulinista metro station. Most of the staffs do not understand and speak english, so be ready with your translation app. They have a concierge and a trolley in the reception so you wont be having difficulties with your luggages. The Economy room with breakfast is small - With own toilet and shower (separated) and a double deck bed set-up. No slippers and bottled waters included but with basic toiletries like bar soaps, shampoo and bath gels (not refillable, but upon requests). The separate toilet has no bidet and sink. You have to use tissues for your special needs. 😅 We requested another linen in the reception and they gave us a complete set (pillow, towel, blanket and linen). Excellent! The breakfast buffet starts at 0630H to 1000H as instructed during checked-in but it ain't true. The buffet usually starts past 0700H. Keep in mind that they are using ”tokens” for it. So keep it with you when coming to the restaurant. They keep luggages (any sizes) for just 6BRL per piece per day. Cheap compared to luggage storage services in the airport

The ibis standard room, but a little broader than the conventional. It can be improved by offering a greater selection of channels for example. Good comfort. Laundry offers an excellent service. I recently stayed at work in this hotel and one of the days while taking breakfast (in the room which is even the cover photo of this ad), I went to the bathroom and I finished forgotten my cell phone there. When I came back, the same was nowhere, and I wanted to act at the time, but I was not working on the day, and I did not receive any support from the Trans-American unit or network. Cheguei a noite, haviam 3 recepcionistas conversando no balcão. Uma de cabelo rosa, outra de dreads e mais uma outra morena. Não vi o nome de nenhuma. Fiquei parada na frente delas enquanto elas ainda conversavam, perguntei então: ”é aqui que faço o checkin?”, uma olhou pra outra pra ver quem é que atenderia. Uma delas começou meu atendimento, a reserva não estava no sistema, até ai tudo bem sei como funciona. Então ela fez a inserção manual e, enquanto fazia isso, o bate papo delas ainda se seguia falando sobre seus relacionamentos amorosos sem se preocupar com a postura profissional frente ao cliente. Finalizado o checkin, assinei a FNRH e me deram a chave dizendo apenas o número do quarto. Não tive mais nenhuma instrução. Decidi então ir até o lobby bar, onde fui atendida por uma moça muito simpática. Percebi que estavam servindo jantar pra um grupo especifico, havia alguns garçons circulando. Enquanto a menina do bar esquentava o congelado que comprei, uma moça da cozinha apareceu informando que o prato vegetariano estava pronto, assim começou uma conversa entre a moça do bar, os garçons e a moça da cozinha, todos totalmente despreocupados com os clientes ao redor ouvindo seus comentários insatisfeitos acerca de seus próprios trabalhos. Peguei minhas coisas, fui para o quarto e fiquei surpresa ao ver que não havia frigobar. Tudo bem, erro meu ao esperar esse item de um quarto feito para ser realmente básico, contudo comprei várias bebidas no lobby bar e não fui informada em nenhum momento de que não havia onde armazená-las no quarto. Também reservei um quarto só com a cama de casal, mas o que me deram foi o quarto que tem o beliche em cima. Decidi ficar nesse mesmo para evitar mais transtornos. Mais tarde no mesmo dia, precisei falar com a recepção e não havia nenhuma instrução de como fazê-lo pois no quarto também não tem telefone. Fiquei buscando na internet um contato, sem sucesso. Até que me dei por vencida e fui ao elevador decidida a descer e então vi que o telefone fica no corredor. Liguei para a recepção e tocou incansavelmente até cair. Atenderam na quinta tentativa. Informei que minha acompanhante chegaria em alguns minutos e perguntei se era necessário deixar o nome dela previamente autorizado já que não haviam me pedido a informação no checkin. Então o atendente disse que minha reserva era para apenas uma pessoa. Expliquei que eu havia reservado para 2 pessoas, mas a recepcionista havia inserido a reserva manualmente no sistema e possivelmente era um erro. A resposta foi: ”Então tá! Vamos liberar quando chegar!”. Não houve nem mesmo a tentativa de ir confirmar a minha alegação. Por fim, o quarto em si é básico, limpo e entrega o que promete para uma hospedagem rápida. Mas a equipe precisa de treinamento, sou hoteleira, observo tudo, não tive nenhuma instrução básica sobre nada. No check-out, a mesma equipe estava no balcão (sai também a noite), perguntei como fazê-lo e todos continuavam conversando despreocupadamente. E
