Excellent hotel and good value for money. Rooms are large, swimming pool is very nice with kids pool and adult one, the kids playground in the villa area is terrific, the location is perfect (5 minutes walk to a shopping center with restaurants, 5 minutes walk to beach, 5 minutes walk to a food street with night market). The style is also pretty (white and pink flowers on the hotel walls). Small negative note: the restaurant in hotel (buffet) is a bit expensive even though the wall aquarium is nice and food seems very good quality. An “a la carte” option would be nice for small families that doesn’t especially want to go with expensive buffet. Also no bar in hotel opened after 8pm.

Wonderful vacation at the Horizon hotel! This is the best hotel from those where we have stayed in Sanya ! Very convenient location, the amazing sea and the beach. Very good breakfasts! Clean! Very attentive and polite staff! We are very grateful to Mr. William, who helped us all the time from the first day of our vacation until our departure! Experienced, polite, caring, with good English! The best feedback! The territory of the hotel is very large! Great pools, restaurants, various activities for children and many beautiful places to take pictures! Next time we won't even look for another one. We will definitely come back here! Thank you!

Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

The location of the hotel is great. It is just across the road from the beach and in walking distance from some of the restaurants and shops. The territory is very nice, there is a nice pool and also exit to the lake. It is a good place to relax there in the evening laying on the hammock. The staff is accommodating and friendly. However, the rooms are in need of renovation. The furniture is old and there is some mold in the bathroom. It was okay for me since I spent most of my days out.

This was my second stay at the Yalong Villas and Spa. The first time I stayed in a room in a villa with a pool and this time I opted for the lake view room, overlooking the pool and tropical lagoon. Both times I have stayed here I have the feeling I have been transported to Bali. The grounds are lush with palm trees and gorgeous landscaping and the lobby decor with its gorgeous wood furniture and koi ponds and fountains, reminiscent of many of the hotels I have stayed in in South East Asia. The hotel room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable with lovely linen. I slept with the balcony door open and fell asleep to the sound of the palm trees rustling in the wind. The room was extremely quiet. The rooms facing the lagoon are North facing, so there is not a alot of sunlight on this side of the building. Breakfast is a pretty good Chinese/Western buffet with lots of options and there is a quiet outdoor seating area if you want to avoid the morning rush of families. The hotel offers a shuttle to the beach across the street which is shared with the Horizon hotel, but I opted to walk each day as it is only 5 minutes or less from the hotel. I would definitely return to the hotel and hope one day to check out a proper private villa when I return with a group of friends!

Nice room and area. Good Thai restaurant. Great service attitude. But many facilities are closed - main pool, gym, no buffet breakfast (in 5 star hotel no buffet breakfast - can you imagine). Bar is closed way too early. Room service is slooooow. Other that that - great place.

The Tianhong has a great location across from the beach and a fantastic (Chinese) restaurant on site. Room was clean but just lacked a little attention to details like refilling tea bags and cleaning out ant nests (they were sprayed but then just left there). I didn't use the pool but it was cleaned daily, looked fine and other people seemed happy with it.

Had the best stay this resort. The room was amazing, bed a bit hard but not a train smash. My room had a great view. I was glad to find food I could eat during breakfast and thanks for being accommodating to foreigners palette. (Breakfast caters for foreigners). The gentleman who helped at the reception was amazing and spoke English. The resort itself is beautiful, great for a morning walk. And it’s close to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest, perfect location.

The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. Someone will clean the room. There is a swimming pool downstairs. There will be a sightseeing car to pick you up to the beach at designated times. I booked the hotel for my 3 days holiday. I would say this was a memorable experience for me at MGM. It has a great location at Yalong Bay, with just a few minutes walk to the beach. The outdoor of the hotel looks like a waterworld park, with a lot of swimming & sunbathing places, and even a small water playground for kids. I enjoyed the surf experience in the hotel. Room was very clean, and tidy, and up to standard. We were staying in the lagoon room, with a swimming pool in the front. The pool water was very clean. The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of both Western and Chinese foods. Staff were super nice and really helpful especially Jelly Shen, who ensured a smooth transition of our room. She provided the flexibility and arranged different outdoor activities for us since we are not good in mandarin, and also provided sightseeing advices within the area. In these 3 days, she was more like a friend of us, provided exceptional support for our need. This was one of our best travel experience we had ever. I would highly recommended to stay here for those who like water activities or with kids.

I lived in the third phase of Princess County three years ago and it was very good. I stayed for four nights this time. But this time the room was not known because the years were too long, or the sanitation was not in place, the bedroom smelled, the greasy smell. The daughter-in-law slept on the sofa for four nights and couldn't stand the smell of the bedroom. Then there is the TV. Some rooms may be LCD handles, but we catch up with the projection screen. At night, the light is not turned on. The color is seriously distorted. There is no way to see the curtains during the day. The effect is terrible. The LCD is not expensive and the rules are good. It is over. . . Next time, I may not stay here again.

The room is in a community and overall it is very quiet. The room is really better than the picture, very warm and comfortable. The kitchen has pots and pans for cooking. The toilet shower water flow is also very large, and the washing is very convenient and comfortable. Because I am traveling for three generations, the two bathrooms are really super convenient, and I will not be disturbed when I sleep in the toilet. The room has a terrace and a drying rack. Going out of the community to Yalong Bay Beach for more than 10 minutes, driving for 3 minutes (free parking in the community, parking at Yalong Bay Beach is also very convenient) The proprietress is very kind, and can communicate and solve problems in time. It is a very pleasant stay experience.

I originally wanted to stay in a hotel, but after looking around at the expensive and outdated facilities, I decided not to consider it. Later, I found this homestay. It is very good, with all the facilities. The room is spacious and bright, and I am very satisfied👍! In terms of travel, it is 300 meters away from Baihuagu Commercial Street and 600 meters away from Yalong Bay Beach. It is recommended to rent a battery car, which will be very convenient. We rented a car🚗. If you want to play nearby, battery cars are more convenient! Takeaway for supper can be delivered directly to the door without going down to get it, which is great! 😄

An interesting hotel experience. In some ways fantastic: great location in Yalong Bay; walking distance to a mall with lots of food options; a couple of big pools; right on the beach; and rooms which have microwaves, fridges and washing machines (much needed for convenient laundry after a few days away). But sadly, other things were lacking: whilst the central swimming pools were open, those around the rooms that give pool access to any ground floor residents were all empty (well, they had about a foot of water in them and weren’t clean - see photo). When I asked why, I was simply told they were decorative. Why build pools and leave them empty? It was so hot that having pool access rooms was an initial draw to staying there. Some of the fittings and fixtures around the hotel felt a bit tired and it could do with a bit of TLC.
