Located right outside Powell Street station of Bart if you’re traveling from airport in Bart then it’s very convenient The room is big enough to open and pack two big luggage Amenities were lacking though the tissue box is empty when I first get into the room and no slippers to be found in the room We asked concierge and they quickly placed new ones for us Toilet is quite old but generally it’s clean

Excellent value for a great location. Room was clean and very spacious. Front desk were accommodating and helpful with a quick check-in and check-out. Breakfast had a good selection of different options and had no complaints. Overall would happily rebook and stay here again!

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. I booked a fairmont exterior king room with a view. The room itself was nice but what I really liked was the walk in wardrobe and luxurious marble bathroom with his and hers sinks. Breakfast at the hotel and dinner in the Tonga room was also really good. Customer Service was top dollar. The only criticisms I would have are that:- 1) There was only one functioning lift from the main foyer to hotel rooms, 2) upon checking in a hold fee of $100 per night is placed on your debit/ credit card (only returnable 5-7 days after departure) and 3) some of the meals were overpriced, I was charged approx $55 for a medium sized pizza and bottle of water on one night. Overall, enjoyed my stay and would return.

The hotel is in a very good location, with all attractions within walking distance. The hotel has the quietest air conditioning noise among the hotels I have stayed in in the United States.

Close to Fisherman's Wharf and restaurants. The $30 daily ”hotel fee” seemed a bit much for a ”free” bottle of water and internet access. They could have at least included free coffee in the lobby. We did take advantage of the nice bikes, so we got our money's worth. Room smelled fresh every day and didn't have that musty smell you sometimes have after a few days. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Usually don't stay at Hyatt, but would definitely return to this one.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zephyr! The location was fantastic, just a block off the main thoroughfare along Fisherman's Wharf so there was easy access to everything...food, shopping, key tourist sites, and transportation. Its walking distance to Pier 39, Pier 33 (where the Alcatraz Ferry departs), and Ghirardelli Square. Its also convenient to several cable car routes and if you're taking any Big Bus Tours, its only a block away from their Fisherman's Wharf departure point. In addition to a great location, we were also very pleased with the hotel itself. Staff was friendly and accommodating, our room was spacious and comfortable and most importantly, it was clean! Another added bonus, the private, outdoor entertainment space. What a fun spot to hang out in the evening with games to play, comfy chairs, firepits & s'mores! I would highly recommend this hotel to others, especially anyone traveling with tweens/teens.

Lovely hotel, in a great location, good access for the city, comfortable with great communal spaces. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, 2 people of note to mention The guy behind the bar is brilliant, knowledgable, friendly and funny, a real pleasure. There is a (really) young lady on reception/check-in, she is lovely and I don't want to knock her, but she needs more training, her default is to say no to everything, not because she is being difficult, I just don't think she has the knowledge or authority to find solutions. It makes it frustrating for me as the customer and I'm sure, for her, trying to deal with people and not resolving issues. It makes you avoid her and wait for someone else to deal with. The Concierge and Valet Parking staff were brilliant, took away all the thinking on parking and restaurants etc. We would definitely stay here again if in San Fransisco

We only stayed one night but it was ideal for catching the hop on hop off bus and walking along the piers at Fisherman's Wharf. There was no breakfast served, as there were renovations going on but we found a great cafe nearby which served a great breakfast. We also found a lovely seafood restaurant for our dinner. I thought that it was very expensive for the facilities on offer but we booked it on the advice of our travel agent who had also stayed there and advised that the price was average for an American hotel near to Fisherman's Wharf.

It is a clear and tidy hotel with no doubt. However, some of its staff were extremely rude. I went down to ask them if the hotel offered turndown services. The man starred at me then asked, in a highly disrespectful tone, “what do you mean by a turndown service?” Completely shocked that I would encounter such a question at a Nikko hotel, I could not say a word for like ten seconds while that man continued starring at me. How can I reason his behavior if not an intentional embarrassment?

A hotel with a long history, the public area perfectly preserves the grandeur of the past, but the rooms... are more like the bedrooms of palace servants? The room was clean and tidy, but not ”palace”.
