Hotéis perto de Rio Vermelho market, Salvador

Vou compartilhar a experiência que tive tanto os pontos bons quanto os ruins. Chegamos no hotel no dia 25/11/23 no final da tarde, fomos bem recepcionados pela recepcionista de plantão, ela inclusive nos ofereceu para fechar alguns passeios com ela, mas como já tínhamos fechado com a Decolar agradeci e disse que não tínhamos dias livres. Depois disso, a simpatia dessa recepcionista acabou, atendeu a gente sempre se cara fechada e com uma má vontade de lascar. Pedi para ela 1 travesseiro extra, ela disse que não tinha ali no momento mas ia solicitar, no dia seguinte cobrei novamente e ela disse que estavam lotados e não tinham sequer 1 travesseiro extra. No outro dia perguntei novamente, mas notei o mau humor então deixei pra lá. Como nosso checkout era ao meio dia e nosso vôo apenas as 22 hs, perguntei se tinha a possibilidade de fazer um late checkout, ela nem olhou no sistema e disse que estavam lotados e não tinha a menor possibilidade. Na manhã seguinte que era o dia do checkout, conversando com outra recepcionista (essa sim muito simpática) nós ajudou, disse que sim haviam 4 quartos vagos, e poderiamos fechar pelo aplicativo. Fiz isso e agradeci, uma pena que esqueci o nome dela, mas ela estava no sábado dia 02/12 pela manhã na recepção. O quarto que ficamos tem uma vista excelente ficamos de frente para praia, muito boa a vista e o quarto atende as 3 estrelas do hotel. O pessoal da cozinha, copa e do café da manhã foram extremamente simpáticas com todos, só tenho elogios para todas elas. No geral o hotel é bom na sua média, mas esse atendimento dessa forma realmente deixa a desejar, uma pena que algumas pessoas tratem os turistas dessa forma. Infelizmente esqueci de perguntar o nome da recepcionista que nos ajudou a ficar algumas horas a mais no quarto, pra ela só temos a agradecer pela ajuda e presteza, para a outra que nos atendeu de uma forma bem mau humorada, tudo bem não lembrar o nome, pois a intenção não é prejudicar ninguém, mas sim que outras pessoas possam ter uma melhor experiência.

For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as ”an apartment” when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

The hotel needs urgently a retirement, the room in which I stayed had a moof and the bathroom too. The lifts also need a reform. Breakfast needs improvements, needs to be more diversified. The bed linen and towels need to be exchanged, they were very wearing.

This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one ”tapioca” or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.

You're going to get away from this place. You're treating the client with total disrespect and disrespect. I booked for Booking 20 days before the trip. When I arrived at the check-in, the hotel team reported that it had no rooms available, that the rooms were not in a position to receive guests and therefore were blocked, and that Booking was making the rooms available for an error of the hotel. Booking systems and they had no way to change that. They said it was not possible to contact who booked because Booking does not provide any form of contact, which is a lie because I received a confirmation email with a message from the ”Team Oyo” a few days after booking. It was so lie that the next day the No-Show fee was still collected and they sent a message saying I didn't appear after confirming the reservation. the lack of communication between the network managers and the hotel team, and I am thinking of the state of conservation of the rooms to have such treatment. we were not the only, during the time we tried to solve had other 3 guests who arrived and had the I had to look for another hotel at 21:00, after hours of travel and rainfall, with travel costs.

The Fasano is located next to the Pelourinho, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This means you can walk to the main sights easily. Old building, nicely renovated, now in modern style. Rooms tend to be on the small side, but are nice and have all you need. Nice rooftop pool with small bar, great views. Breakfast is very good, good choice and good quality. Lunch is ok, but nothing special. Most staff members are very friendly, they try their best to accommodate your needs. Yes there are some hiccups in the service, things got forgotten etc, but as they are very friendly you can live with it. Probably one of the better Fasanos, compared to others, here the staff pay more attention to details and are more client focused. I can recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Salvador, probably the best option in town. I would like to thank Janine, Maria and all other staff members who did their best to make my stay a very nice one.

My family and I stayed at the Wish with interconnecting rooms in August 2022. This worked really well for us. Lobby area is large and airy with lovely decor. Pool area looked really nice but was not warm enough for us to use. The gym was modern with plenty of choice in equipment. Had some lovely evenings at the bar drinking cocktails made by Mauro. We were allocated rooms on level 11 so we had the perfect view over the city. Just wish the windows had been cleaned. Our view was a little cloudy! On one occasion we had music outside the park for us to listen to! Plus we watched some lads playing soccer. Room sizes were good. Beds were supercosy with good selection of pillows. The decor was a little tired and could do with freshening up. There was a musty damp scent in the room on arrival which we resolved by opening the window. This must be due to the climate where its warm and wet in Winter. Breakfast was lovely each morning with lots of choice. Just wish they had some plant based alternatives. E.g soya milk, margarine etc. Outside the Wish hotel is a park which a huge monument and fountain, if you wish to take a morning stroll/jog. There are council exercise machines next to the childrens playground. We were fortunate to see Capoeira training going on. Other than that there is nothing else. A short cab ride away will take you to Bahia shopping mall - Really good food court on ground floor here - Oriental, Italian and Brazilian. Plus a good place to do a money exchange. Cash is king here guys! The tourist spots like praca da sa, Pelourinho, Rio Vermelho etc are 1.5 miles away. Hotel taxis accept card payments. Which is really convenient. Be prepared to hold on to dear life when taking a random taxi from the street. Some drive like lunatics. Our taxi from airport to hotel was like this. Maybe its worth booking a hotel transfer with Wish. Overall if I could afford the Fasano I would stay there for the luxury plus location,but if you require something more easy on the pocket and away from the madness of the tourist areas, I would choose Wish de Bahia. The foods are good.

This hotel is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is great and the internet connection by the pool works better than the rooms. It is located near restaurants, bars, groceries stores, and pharmacies. Breakfast could improve. I wish they had more local tropical fruits. However, breakfast is simple but well served. Located just steps from the beach, which is calm and not lots of waves. Good for kids.

We come from Germany and this hotel was recommended to me in advance by friends. And it is really great! We also recommend it very much! The quiet location directly on the beautiful beach is paradise! The owner welcomed us very warmly and always took time for a nice chat with us and had helpful travel tips. The service is great, the staff very friendly and the food excellent! The incredibly varied breakfast is prepared with love and offers every day different delicious highlights. The hotel is the perfect place to relax by the pool or sea and really enjoy yourself! We will definitely like to come back!
