Sarum Apart-Hotel

We booked a one bed apartment for 4 nights at the last minute. Whilst the price wasn't too bad and the location was good, the spacious apartment itself was nothing special. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was just a little tired, dated and had an odd layout. The whole apartment was on different levels, with steps between areas within the same room (see pics). There is plenty of room to place a door between the bedroom and the bathroom (with poor shower pressure), yet it is all left open with no privacy. The communal areas are all very poorly decorated - although I guess that the owners are waiting until external building works are completed before tackling the update of these areas. From the look of many of the other guests, they appeared to be long-term migrant workers who were happy to dominate the gardens to smoke and socialise, making us feel as though we might be invading their space if we were to sit in the garden. Every day we had to contact reception to ask if they would tell the occupant above us to turn his music down. All in all it was an acceptable space for our short break, but unless things change, we wouldn't want to return.

Stayed here for the weekend with my adult son. Twin room was clean and tidy and had a small kitchenette. Bathroom had a bath with shower and was slightly tight. Staff very friendly. Only complaint flat screen tv mounted on the wall adjacent to the bathroom door. I bumped my head on it twice I am only 1.78 m tall.

We had a brill stay here. Newly renovated room, adequately equipped kitchenette, very clean, friendly staff and great location. Would definitely stay here again no probs. Modern tv, fridge freezer a bonus. New bathroom, plenty hot water. Top marks indeed. Thx.

A nice hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. The room was clean with nice linen and towels. Great to have a kitchenette and especially a fridge. We'll situated at the top of town. We were woken by other long term guests chatting outside our ground floor room but the staff were happy to address this and it worked. We played bar billiards, which was good and had a pizza from the bar. All in all, good value for money and I have to say again, brilliant staff who couldn't do enough for us.

Horrible place with disgusting service and no respect for staff stay away if you can! Unclean rooms no one speaks English or is even able to understand you and the day I got there there was a dead body being carried away and they were laughing about it

Never use this hotel, they are clearly a rogue business, cancelled my bookings without prior notification, and they failed to refund me. DONT USE! This was done despite several messages sent to them to offer flexibility, it was clear they were determined to rob me of my money without providing a service! Quite shocking and pathetic.
