"Hello everyone! We stayed at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay from October 3rd to 10th, 2025. The hotel’s location is convenient — not right next to the main attractions, but getting there from Naha Airport is easy. There’s a direct airport bus that takes about an hour and a half and stops right at the hotel entrance. When we checked in, we were first given a room on a lower floor, even though we had asked for a higher one when booking. The next day, the staff kindly moved us — really great service and attention to detail. We chose the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). The food was excellent — tasty, diverse, and offered in several themed areas: European, Japanese, Chinese, and Okinawan. Besides the main restaurant, there are plenty of other places to eat on-site — a BBQ area, Japanese izakaya, dessert buffet, and a cozy traditional café. The beach is small but very clean, with lifeguards always on duty. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a small fee, and towels are available for free with hotel coupons. The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, which made it peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Some parts of the interior look a bit dated, but that’s easily balanced by the stunning ocean views, fair pricing, and overall comfort. All in all, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery. Highly recommend! 🌸"

"I used to stay near Cape Manza whenever I visited Okinawa, but this time I wanted to try a different beach, so I booked the Moon Beach Hotel. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained and quite nice. The room was surprisingly spacious. I didn't book a sea-view room, but if you have the option, definitely go for it – it's absolutely worth it! For breakfast, there are two choices: a Japanese set meal or a more standard Western-style buffet. The room key is quite unique; it's shaped like a seahorse. On the ground floor, there's a shop selling beachwear, which is a good option if you haven't brought any. Eating out near the hotel is very convenient, with plenty of options. There are also many diving schools and car rental places nearby. Some diving schools even offer Chinese-speaking services, so it's worth checking out if you're interested. I'll definitely be back next year! 🤩🥳"

"I read the online reviews before booking, and I certainly wasn't disappointed after checking in. The room was incredibly spacious; we booked the Executive Ocean Suite on the top floor, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning. The facilities were also quite comprehensive, and all the staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. The breakfast buffet at the main restaurant offered a wide variety of choices, and the ingredients were fresh, so even our 1.5-year-old baby could eat safely. I highly recommend trying their signature pudding! It's an award-winning dessert from Onna Village. My only regret is the lack of a private beach, but thankfully, they can arrange a free shuttle service to Sun Marine Beach. Before you go, they'll even prepare towels and water for you, which is a very thoughtful touch!"

"Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out. Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us."

The hotel doesn't have many restaurant choices, and there are few restaurants nearby, so you'll need to drive a relatively long distance to find food."

"I come to Okinawa almost every winter for vacation and have stayed at many ocean-view hotels here. Halekulani Okinawa stands out for both its significant strengths and weaknesses. **Pros:** (1) As a newly built hotel, the facilities are much newer than other hotels. The rooms even have smart tablets to conveniently book restaurants and check out various amenities. (2) Although the restaurant prices are noticeably higher than other hotels, the quality of both the buffet and à la carte restaurants, and even room service, is excellent and worth the price. (3) The service is very good. If you're taking public transportation when checking out, they'll even provide a car to take you to the station. (4) If you skip breakfast, you can change it to lunch, which is convenient for those who like to sleep in. **Cons:** This seems to be a common issue with Western hotel brands. Halekulani Okinawa, along with two other Hilton hotels here, shares the following problems. I believe this might stem from differences in Western brands' operational philosophies. However, for a hotel like Halekulani, which costs more than double other ocean-view hotels, these shortcomings are quite unacceptable. (1) The hotel lacks a well-stocked convenience store and souvenir shop. Other Japanese-owned ocean-view resort hotels usually have one or two such stores with a wide variety of items. Here, there's only one shop selling some Halekulani branded merchandise and a very limited selection of ”eco-friendly, natural” snacks, with hardly any beverages. If you want something to eat, you have to walk a few hundred meters outside the hotel to a chain convenience store. (2) The mini-bar drinks in the room are chargeable, and the prices are 4-5 times higher than at outside convenience stores. Considering this hotel is 2-3 times more expensive than others, and many other hotels often offer free mini-bars, this difference is quite significant. The main issue is the lack of an internal convenience store, forcing guests to frequently go out to a convenience store a few hundred meters away for a wider selection of drinks and snacks. Not to mention, it's truly unpleasant to go out when it's rainy or windy. For someone like me who enjoys staying at a comfortable and convenient hotel for several days or even a week, it's hard to stay long if a resort can't meet all my needs in one place. (3) The price for the self-service laundry and dryer (700/800 JPY) is also about three times higher than at other local ocean-view hotels (200/300 JPY). While the hotel's price is more than double that of others, the convenience and comfort aren't significantly higher (aside from newer facilities). Coupled with a mini-bar and self-service laundry that are several times more expensive, and the need to go outside to buy necessities due to the lack of an on-site convenience store, it feels like they're trying too hard to squeeze every penny. It's more suitable for a short, 'check-the-box' experience rather than a prolonged, relaxing stay. The quality of the seawater is also just average compared to hotels in Onna Village and Cape Zanpa."

"The hotel and its ocean view from the room are very beautiful. Room is very clean and spacious. Staff are very helpful. The location is good too. There are plenty of good restaurants around, and not long driving to Manzamo and Nago. I stayed for 2 nights, and if you do not require any room making and cleaning, you can get a ¥1000 voucher which can be used in the hotel e.g. hotel shop. I think this generous initiative is very effective and win-win to save resources while boost spending. However, please note that hotel will charge parking fee. I will definitely stay again in my next visit!"

"Booked this hotel through Trip.com. It's incredibly convenient as the limousine bus stops right at the hotel entrance. The hotel is situated between the Hotel Monterey and the Sheraton, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly spacious – all suites with two bedrooms, roughly 70 square meters, plus a large terrace of about 10 square meters. Every room offers a direct sea view. Although the hotel is separated from the beach by a road, it's just a short walk across to the sand. The beach is uncrowded, and under the sunlight, you can clearly see the distinct layers of the 'jellyfish sea,' which is absolutely stunning. For breakfast, there are two choices: Western and Japanese, though the variety isn't extensive. There's a FamilyMart convenience store next door, making it easy to grab essentials. It's the perfect place to just relax and unwind, gaze at the sea, and collect hermit crabs – a truly a fantastic vacation spot."

"Absolutely loved it! Especially Ana. This hotel boasts its own beautiful private beach, accessible via a secret path. The breakfast at the executive lounge was also delicious. The location is perfect, right next to Cape Manza in Onna Village, central Okinawa. It's close to the Churaumi Aquarium in the north and also very near Naha. I consider it a perfectly seamless experience. Plus, there were Chinese staff in the executive lounge who helped us with any Japanese language difficulties! All in all, my ANA trip was an excellent experience!"
