"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the service the team provided was impeccable - it was really easy to reach out to them via WeChat and they will always try their best to fulfil our requests, from arranging transport to and from the train station, to preparing portable breakfast before our hikes to Yulong Snow Mountain. The food at the restaurant was all made with fresh local produce and meat too, and we enjoyed all the meals that we had there. Let’s not forget the private hot spring tub, it’s so relaxing to have this available throughout the stay! Overall a really incredible stay, hoping to come back again!"

"🏠 Stayed at the hotel of a lifetime in Lijiang! The butler service was truly exceptional: a chat group was set up before my arrival, complete with a detailed check-in guide, and a dedicated pick-up was arranged upon landing. Upon reaching the hotel, I was greeted with welcome fruits and desserts 🧁. There were daily snacks, unlimited coffee (the beans were incredibly fragrant, a dream for a coffee addict like me – I happily had three cups a day!), and a varied, generous breakfast delivered to the room before 9:30 AM if desired. After 7:30 PM, there was a bonfire party in the backyard with karaoke for singing along, and after 9 PM, a warm bedtime drink was offered. The butler was always online and ready to assist with any request [chuckle]. 🌴 The hotel's ambiance is minimalist and forest-inspired. The first floor feels just like a coffee shop, and the wooden house and terrace on the third floor are perfect for photos. The most delightful surprise, however, is the backyard, which directly faces the snow-capped mountains 🏔️. In the morning, you can lie back and watch the 'golden mountain' sunrise. Simply sitting here, sipping coffee, even bad weather couldn't dampen my spirits. The bedding, especially the pillows, was the most comfortable I've ever experienced in any hotel 😭 (good bedding truly enhances the stay). The location is away from the hustle and bustle but not isolated; it's just a 5-minute walk to Baisha Ancient Town, my favorite uncommercialized and authentic ancient town in Lijiang. No need for a 'special forces' itinerary, just pure relaxation and tranquility!"

For just over 300 [currency, e.g., Yuan], we got a 60-square-meter, two-bedroom suite – it was amazing! 3️⃣ Disposable towels and bath towels were provided. 4️⃣ Daily room cleaning was a pleasant surprise; even without asking, the room was always spotless and tidy upon our return, with the bed neatly remade. 5️⃣ Excellent service; every staff member was incredibly friendly and made our stay very comfortable. 6️⃣ Shared electric scooters were available right outside, making it a quick 2-minute ride to Baisha Ancient Town. Exploring the village on a scooter was also very enjoyable. 7️⃣ The hotel is very close to Hutuwuo Ranch and the ancient towns. We even rode an electric scooter to Shuhe Ancient Town today. 8️⃣ The owner was incredibly responsive and always went the extra mile to assist us. [Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored review. "Excellent service by hotel staff. Very friendly, efficient and professional. Love the herbal foot soak provided, eye mask and moisturiser provided upon request. The humidifier provided in the room is helpful to make the stay a comfortable one. Hotel is walking distance to a Walmart. For some room, it maybe helpful for the bathroom and toilet to be housed in an enclosed room as it can be cold stepping out of the shower area during winter. Hotel to consider using a more contemporary Chinese music to reflect the Chinese Tea culture setting and provide in room moisturiser that most hotels do, Apart from these we highly recommend this hotel to travellers looking for a quiet hotel with a tea culture theme."

"This hotel was a great choice! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the smart devices made our stay incredibly comfortable. Stepping out onto the balcony, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain stood majestically before us. We had hoped to witness the stunning 'golden mountain at sunrise,' but unfortunately, it was a cloudy, misty day, and the mountain was hidden by the clouds. We'll just have to save that beautiful experience for another time. The guesthouse owner was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. He helped us with our luggage and even invited us to join him for a tea ceremony. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and varied, with whole grains, fresh fruit, and local rice noodles – simple yet thoughtfully prepared."

"I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU."

"My daughter and I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel. The biggest selling point of the hotel is the location. It is a 2 to 3 minute walk from Baisha Ancient Town, where we were spoilt for choices in terms of food. We were able to see an unblocked view of the Yulong Snow Mountain from hotel's rooftop. We managed to catch the sunrise from the rooftop and the view was spectecular! Breakfast was rather tasty and the reception staff also gave suggestions on where we should visit. The room was extremely spacious - no worries about tripping over luggages! However, our laundry experience was not the best as the dryer took several hours to dry our clothes even though it stated that the process would take 1h 40 mins. The clothes were not completely dry even after we collected our clothes. We had to manually use the hair dryer to dry our clothes. Thankfully, the hair dryer was extremely powerful and we mananged to dry all our clothes."

"This homestay was our best stay during our trip to Yunnan. First of all the staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful . They provided us with tips to book our visits to different attractions. Communication was easy even though we did not speak the same language via a Wechat group. It was very practical to ask anything we needed and the staff was very fast to answer. Second, our room was simply amazing. It was very spacious and clean, with an amazing view over Yulong Snow Mountain. It was decorated with taste and toiletries of very good quality were provided. The bed was big and comfortable. Third, we enjoy the location next to a farm, on Baisha's main street, but away from the noise and hussle because the hotel is further down the street. Breakfasts and night snacks provided were delicious! Thank you guys we really enjoyed our stay"
