I stayed a night in this beautiful hotel. It was very comfortable for the nearby station, almost next to it, so as I arrived on the train, it was very comfortable for me to go to the hotel. The cleaning of the rooms, large and spacious, in a beautiful villa, immersed in green, I personally believe I never made a better breakfast than that made there.. variety of sweet and salt.. c was the embarrassment of the choice, even gluten-free foods for those who needed it.. If I had to return to Riccione, I would know where to stay without thinking about it :)

We stayed a night in this B&b hotel in September 2021. We enjoyed the spacious room (pool view) and the friendly front desk personnel. We did find the room a little too dark and the air-conditioning (for the lack of a better word) lack of power for our personal liking - not a big deal. Love the effort put into the interior. Breakfast was more than good. We paid approximately 80euros for a night - from our observation it is a little higher than other hotels and services provided in that area. But you are paying for a more modern, updated and spacious room. Thank you Montecarlo team for making our stay comfortable.

After accepting an offer for 2 rooms 4 nights, and while travellling to riccione we were told that we had to switch rooms twice, per room. Not a great way to start your holiday living out of your suitcase. At the same time rooms were stil offered on ***********..? Anyway we didn’t have a choice. We adviced to manage expectations next time, Marianne claimed this was normal procedure because they want to sell all rooms and other guests never complain. Do know we were not compensated. We got 1 night room upgrade which was of good quality. The prestige rooms were old, bathroom obviously repaired by a non professional many times. Mold and other creepy black stainsThe plaster of next door balcony ceiling came of with a Big Bang which was terrifying. The repair next door was noisy, we had to leave the room (when finally moved in after leaving the other room in the morning). The last room we stayed in 602 with double glass, one glass was missing. And never repaired. Staying 4 nights 3 days we were charged 4 days sunbeds, which is robbery. Anyway, the breakfast and servants was great. Location super. The prestige rooms are not prestige and worth 4 or even 3 stars and therefor highly overpriced. The swimming pool was not open the whole day. People were talking about the poolman (not the English speaking economy student which is an asset to this hotel) but another man that obviously drank too much and therefor not trustworthy to guard the swimmers. And last, when returning the parking card they didn’t give us the return deposit of 25 euros. We had to go back to get it. Would not recommend to stay here in a prestige room. And check twice if they really have availability during your stay or waste your holiday time on packing and unpacking. Cheers to the cleaners, the rooms were cleaned very well.

It was a wonderful stay from check in to the last day. I was struck by the attitude of the staff towards the guests. We were given clean towels daily and cleaned. The breakfast was very tasty and varied, lots of fruit. We got a Saturday aperitif, which the hotel arranged for free for guests. It was great and very nice. This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.

This is supposed to be a four star hotel but while the staff are mostly very pleasant and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable, the place is soulless! The decor is drab and uninviting with little to relieve it. There was a convention on while we were there but there still appeared to be no public areas to sit other than reception or outside, and when we were there it was raining. Dinner was buffet style so we didn’t go there but to a much nicer restaurant opposite The bar is tiny and stuck in a corner with no proper seating. Breakfast is mostly pastries Italian style although there was the option of overcooked bacon and rubbery scrambled egg! Cheese ham and some fruit was also available. Parking was difficult as the garage was full and there is limited free parking on the street outside. The positives are that the position of the hotel is great for a beach holiday as the beach opposite is free and the cleanliness of the place is good. It was fine for a one night stay- if somewhat expensive for what we got- but there are other much nicer looking places nearby if you are staying any longer.
