Sky Tower, where most third-party sellers offer cheaper rates is the hellacious trek from registration to the elevator. I stayed on a Friday night, after staying at 2 other (Atlantis, GSR) hotels in the area earlier. The long walkway a 10+ min shlep if you are fit (dare we say tunnel hall) had varying temperatures, cold to heat blasts; and stairs with handicapped lifts non-functioning, and the building's main hall was non-descript fitting for a barebones tourist class establishment.
The registration desk service (including the Manager) was barely competent, beyond ensuring you got your keys; I inquired why my Caesars player's card and Platinum Visa Card could not be found on their system. A snark retort about going to the Rewards Center at the Silver Legacy, although I had informed them that I got a message on my app to go to the Service Center before my arrival. I went to the El Dorado Rewards Center and resolved the issue/message or so I was told. In any case, Circus Circus Reno cannot stand as an equal with the other two The ROW Hotels. What a disappointment, both in the physical place (rooms had not been updated since the 80's motel motif) and the staff needs training on customer service. The room (premier deluxe King) was almost a replica of my 80's Motel 6 room in Goleta California (close to UC Santa Barbara).
