It's super close to Shanhaiguan, right across the street, and the hygiene is pretty good. But the night we stayed was probably the night of the second day of the ***** New Year. It was really super hot. We turned off the air conditioner and turned on the fresh air system, but it was still not safe and effective. We couldn't sleep well all night. I saw that the door to the room opposite was also open in the morning, so it was probably too hot. Isn't it easy to adjust the heating?

Excellent hotel, I would highly recommend anybody visiting Shanhaiguan to stay here. The building is beautiful and includes a mini museum exhibition of calligraphy and lovely gardens. The room was clean, comfortable and provided 6 bottles of complementary water. The staff were friendly and helpful, even letting me check out at 2pm since I had a 3pm train to Dalian. Location wise the hotel is situated right next to the first gate under Heaven tourist area. You can get a good view of the gate even from the hotel courtyard, also walkable to restaurants and the drum tower just a couple hundred meters away. Lastly it’s just a short taxi ride from the rail station (1.6km/5min/8rmb) and laolongtou Great Wall section (7km/15min/15rmb).

It was such an unique experience to stay in a hotel inside the ancient city wall, it felt like travelled back to China in the olden days. As it was off-peak season when we visited 山海关，we were upgraded to a family room, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. As it was rather cold and we were tired from all the walking, we decided to make life easy by eating at the restaurant within the hotel. We didn't expect much though. But..., we were much much more than surprise the dishes were Ace standard, be it in presentation or taste! A big big thumb up! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times. P.S the teapot was not filled with tea but a yummilicious 松茸汤。

View from the window is disgusting, a lot of garbage on the streets out there, box houses, feels like a ghetto. Working table and some surfaces were full of dust. At the same time the staff is very polite. There were some problems at checin with passports verification, and room key become disabled at some point. So staff helped with these. Breakfast was ok, not strong varied, but tasty and hearthy. At night main entrance is closed, you'll need to use sideway entrance (follow near 24/7 label)

The floor heating is super warm in winter, no air conditioning is required, the health is clean and tidy, the service is good, the GreenTree Inn chain is still good, it is really warm 👍👍 The parking lot is really great, super super big, you say you want to park, If you want to stop, you can stop too big. Novices don't have to worry about 😄😄

The owner is nice and upgraded one of our rooms for free. There are not many people in Shanhaiguan National Day. It is very unexpected. The deluxe room is very spacious and the courtyard style feels like a northern dwelling. However, it is raining. Little feeling The hotel is very close to the South City Gate, and the main building of Shanhaiguan Pass is only 10 minutes away. It is highly recommended

挺不錯的賓館，性價比高。還可以存放行李，下次如果去，還會入住的。PS：山海關不好玩，如果為了爬長城還湊合，山海關內生活區不要有任何期待，相對來說老龍頭好一些。

I have never booked a hotel on this platform, I have been looking for this homestay for a long time, in the scenic area of Shanhaiguan Ancient City, not more than 300 meters away from major attractions, it is a small yard, very clean, the proprietress is also very good, all the doors are password locks, four rooms, Three bathrooms, all very clean and tidy, complete supplies, three families are very satisfied, I really recommend this homestay, I will book this next time.
