We visited villa Crespi for our anniversary. A wonderful retreat in a spectacular location. Especially in fall. Overall experience was great. We chose it for dining at Cannavacciuolo's renowned restaurant. Some disappointing details in both the room cleanliness and the restaurant plating, considering the very high expectations. Otherwise a top destination by any standard worldwide

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the central square of Orta. What is not liked · One neo: too short stay ... A point instead, a very unpleasant thing, but not because of management, but some guests. A dog in breakfast room that continued to drop during breakfast ... OK the animals allowed, now almost in every structure, but the owners that allow their four legs to disturb others, is quite irritant ...

My wife and I discovered this wonderful place after traveling everywhere in Europe for the last 40 years. As a travel writer I have confidently shared our discovery of this wonderful place with many friends and readers. From the moment you arrive you receive a warm greeted by the most professional and caring staff. Everyone is attentive and truly want to make your stay a good one. When we arrived mid day we went to the pool for a wonderful lunch. Near us was a table with an attractive family, of 3 generations and their family dog, They were the family who owns and manages the property , ”eating their own cooking” as we say, and enjoying the quiet loveliness of their own property. There are 3 choices of accommodations here, each wonderful and meeting special preferences. We stayed in the Palazzo and loved it, but the Castello/Castle and its garden and views are outstanding. The rooms in the beautifully renovated stables with large grass common area are very accommodating, especially for families with children. The whole property is a destination in itself with so many things to see. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, all in totally different environments, and it all was superb. In closing, we all know that the staff makes all the difference wherever we stay. Again, the staff, and owners, could not be more welcoming, joyful and professional. Set in a peaceful area close to a lovely little town called Sesto Calende. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking woodland. As it is out of the way, they also sell plated meals at reasonable prices which can be heated in their kitchen area, if you don’t want to head out. Lovely staff, will definitely return.

First of all, ignore all the reviews older than a year, because it’s pretty much a new hotel. This place should have much higher reviews. It’s a newly refurbished hotel in a great location, only 20-30 minute drive from all the lakes, and 15 minutes to Varese. It includes free parking for all guests. The style of the Hotel is a mix of retro and modern inspired by 50s American diner, with cool neon lights and beautifully tasty furniture with a contemporary feel. We stayed in a Standard Room, which was more than big enough for my wife and I. The bed was massive and comfortable. We were able to ask for two more pillows which they gave us without any hesitation. There is a huge TV, fast Wi-Fi and USB charging ports on either side of the bed. The bathroom is crisp, clean, modern and spacious. Amazing shower with rainfall shower head and handheld option. Sink, bidet and toilet. The usual. Breakfast is also included and is plentiful. Different options to choose from different hams and turkeybreast, cheeses, various sweet options like cookies and pastries. There is a coffee machine that is available 24/7 as well as a fridge with drinks and selection of chocolates and snacks, which works with an Honesty System where you must write down whatever you take. I cannot praise this hotel more that giving it five stars. I’m very picky when it comes to choosing hotels, especially since we stayed for seven nights. We will absolutely be back. Lastly, the best part of the stay were the staff. Every single one of the employees from the receptionists to the housekeeping girls were stupendous and lovely. They made our stay worthwhile. So thanks to all of them. This is an example of how every hotel in the world should be managed :-)
