We stayed in Capo Taormina hotel for a couple of weeks. It is conveniently located with a nice view from each and every room. Outstanding service, particularly Grazia, who waited for us at the bar, both on the beach and the evening terrace one. She was always in good mood, very helpful, attentive, friendly and just nice. The whole stay was a pure pleasure and Grazia made it unforgettable. We shall surely come back.

The hotel is very nice, clean and new. In the meantime, it must be said that breakfast, already paid at the time we made the reservation, did not offer either classical cornets (cream, chocolate or empty) or any kind of sweet. We chose then milk and cereals, but they were served with acid milk, and we decided to order a number of cappuccinos and coffee because the coffee in the buffet was imbeviable, clearly diluted with water. The surprise was at the check out, where we were presented the coffee and cappuccino account (paid, among other things, very expensive) because they were not included in the already paid breakfast buffet but ordered separately at the hotel bar. The Best Western Hotel is a very nice complex. The rooms are nice and modern with minibar and kettle, also the pool area is great with sea view. The hotel also has a partnership with a beach bar on the beach. So you can decide for yourself what you feel like doing. The shuttle to the beach is free and can be booked at the reception. So everything is very simple and guest-friendly. There is a good selection for breakfast and an egg station, which we particularly liked. I wouldn't choose this hotel myself without a rental car, it wouldn't make much sense. With a car, you can explore the area and be flexible in the evening. We ate at the hotel twice in the evening, but found the portion sizes too small for the price and went out afterwards. Point for improvement? It would be nice if there were fresh juices for breakfast instead of juices from a vending machine. It doesn't suit the ambience or the island of Sicily! Das Best Western Hotel ist ein sehr schöner Komplex. Die Zimmer sind schön und modern gestaltet mit Minibar und Wasserkocher, auch die Poolanlage ist toll mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Hotel hat zudem eine Partnerschaft mit einer Beachbar am Strand. So kann man selber entscheiden, zu was man gerade mehr Lust hat. Der Shuttle zum Strand ist gratis und kann an der Rezeption reserviert werden. Also alles sehr einfach und gästefreundlich. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine gute Auswahl sowie eine Eierspeisenstation, die uns besonders gefallen hat. Ohne Mietauto würde ich selbst nicht dieses Hotel wählen, das würde wenig Sinn machen. Mit dem Auto kannst du die Gegend erkunden und bist am Abend flexibel. Wir haben 2x am Abend im Hotel gegessen, fanden die Portionsgrössen für den Preis jedoch zu klein und waren danach auswärts. Verbesserungspunkt? Wäre schön, wenn es zum Frühstück frische Säfte gäbe, anstelle von Säften aus einem Automaten. Das passt nicht zum Ambiente und auch nicht zur Insel Sizilien!

I arrived at the hotel late and was directed to my room. 5 minutes later the bedroom phone rang. I answered and it was Antonio from reception saying that although the restaurant had closed, they had prepared a plate of food for me! Off I went to be presented with a gorgeous plate of various foods including pizza, chicken brest, fish, sald, eggs. Delicious and excellent service. Throught my week long stay, the staff were very courteous and supplied great service. The food was delicious and varied. At breakfast, there was a great deal of choice from cereals and yoghurts to eggs, cheese, ham and breads. Fruit juice and water was available along with coffees and tea. The hotel itself is Sicilian in style, clean and confortable (especially the bed). It sits adjacent to the cable car which takes you up into Taormina. I was a bit dubious about going on it at first because I was very nervous but I actually enjoyed the journey (I went on it three times to see the quaint town of Taormina). This preetty town has loads of history and I highly recommend the gardens and the ancient theatre. As a female solo traveller, there were no issues - Sicilians are the friendliest of people - and I was totally comfortable sitting in a bar sampling one of the local wines and dining by myself. Villa hotel Bianca is the ideal place from which to explore. Isola Bella is a few hundred metres up the road. I did it early in the morning but be aware that there are 140 steps down, which means 140 steps back up! Luckilly, there is a bar opposite where you can grab something to quench the inevitable thirst! A bit further down the bay, you can hire a boat - Davide was the skipper when I went. It was amazing and he anchors the boat so you can jump in for a swim. A beautiful part of the world.#I also ventured to Siracusa and Ortigia where you can see both Apollo's Temple and Athena's Temple (now a cathedral). I had lunch in Ortigia, which was fantastic. All in all, this hotel was perfect. Antonio on reception was fabulous, along with the whole staff and it is a great location, whether you want to lounge around on the beaches or whether you want to go further afield to explore the surrounding areas. Also, you can easuily get to Messina from here to get the ferry across to Calabria. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Thank you Hotel Billa Bianca.

The location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient.

We have stayed in many hotels around the world, but from the moment you enter the Metropole Hotel in Taormina, you realize you are going to undergo a unique experience. It is almost like visiting a large family in their magnificent estate overlooking the ocean on one side, and in the center of “movie set” Taormina on the other. This family warmly caters to your every need, and within their estate you have every possible facility you could desire. The rooms (several types, sea view and city view, but get sea view if you can) are spacious and comfortable. Marcello (the manager) assisted so ably and warmly by Santino, cannot do enough to guide you and help you enjoy their beautiful city. David, Maria and the other bar/restaurant staff are there when you want them, but leave you to enjoy the incredible view from the bar and restaurant in comfort. There is an infinity pool that is wonderfully refreshing, and has both open and shaded loungers to enjoy a restful break. The food in either the bar or restaurant is first class - best Niçoise salad I’ve ever had! When you visit Sicily, if your only splurge on one hotel, make it the Metropole in Taormina - it’s worth it!

We stayed at the hotel in August 2023, in a superior room with a sea view - unsurpassed! What I liked: 1. The location is good for our taste, because it is a little further from the noisy streets. It has its own rocky coast and access to the sea. Restaurants and souvenir shops are a 15-minute walk away. 2. The hotel is self-sufficient - there is everything for a relaxing holiday: a large swimming pool, umbrellas and deckchairs, a restaurant and bar, terraces for gatherings, access to the sea. 3. I recommend taking the Superior room with a sea view, because this room category has been updated and the balcony with a view is really impressive. Cleaned every day. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator. Good sound insulation. 4. Good breakfasts - scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and a very tasty variety of pastries. We also had lunch there and ordered cocktails - very fun, friendly staff. The restaurant also has a wonderful view of the pool and the sea. 5. The territory is very nicely decorated, there are places to sit in silence. The interior of the hotel is traditionally decorated in the Sicilian style with interesting furniture and paintings. There is an elevator. 6. There is a swimming pool with sea water and different water levels, as well as showers. There is enough space for everyone. For those who can swim, there is also a great alternative to go down to the sea - there are steps from the rocks. You can walk 10 minutes to the sandy beach. There is a free zone (a bit dirty), there is a paid zone (30 euros for two people) and it is worth the money (convenience, cleanliness, nice beach, umbrellas and seats). What can be improved is to add more vegetables to breakfast. In general, I am very satisfied with this hotel and I am grateful to everyone who makes the vacation there so wonderful!

We’ve been to Taormina on two previous occasions, stopping at the nearby Ariston Hotel both times. No complaints about the Ariston. However, due to matters financial, we switched to the TPH, which was a bit of a gamble. This could have gone all wrong……but it didn’t. We loved it! If you’ve read some of the other reviews, you’ll get the picture quite well, the TPH could use a good decorater, however, it’s cosmetic, and caused us no problems at all. The hotel is smaller and quieter than the Ariston , and has an olde worlde charm, with its marble staircase, inlaid doors, chandeliers and furniture from a bye gone era. The pool area, although busy at times, was quiet and well run by the staff, a great place to enjoy the Sicilian sun, and cool off! The breakfasts were taken by the pool, nice touch, and there was plenty of variety on offer and we really enjoyed that. The view from there, and our second floor balcony, was unbeatable. The wifi in our room worked fine, all the time. However, the massive selling point that really made our time there so marvellous, was none of the above; it was the staff! From the quietly confident and helpful desk staff, to the welcoming and engaging catering/breakfast/pool bar staff, the maintenance man, to the room cleaners, they were awesome! If you need a place in Taormina that is central, clean, with great views, great food and fantastic staff, I have no hesitation in recommending theTaormina Park Hotel. Just don’t book it during the first two weeks of July, ‘cause we’re going back next year! Bravo TPH, you were amazing 🤩
