I love this place for its location near a huge forest great for running and cycling - even on a freezing winter morning! It was a good price, well organised, friendly staff and very clean. It is away from most things near an industrial estate but I chose it for the proximity to the forest and all the trails there :) It was also a simple walk to a small town with pizza and some basics. I didn't have the breakfast as it seemed quite expensive and was too busy running ;)

I would say this was an ok hotel. The hotel itself was alright in terms of rooms, staff, cleanliness etc. Wasn't aware there was a motel next door so that was a surprise when we first arrived. It was smack bang in the middle of Lake Como and Milan which was decent Two things I would say is REALLY important and it was not advertised or mentioned by the booking company we booked with or in any reviews I had read: 1) as it's in the middle of a motorway, public transport is pretty much non existent. Closet station was a 22 mintue walk from the hotel which was ridiculous. We spent faaaaaaaaar to much money on cabs in order to move anywhere outside the hotel. Which leads into the next point... 2) getting an Uber or calling a cab was as hard as finding a needle in a haystack. A constant battle on where we were going to get out next cab out of the hotel to get anywhere every morning because it was that hard to get taxi's. When asked at the reception they mentioned because the hotel is in Lomazzo there isn't a taxi rank or company based here so cabs will need to be called out from either Milan or Lake Como in order to collect anyone at the hotel. Which is very silly. The hotel did have thier own driver however having 1 or 2 drives for the whole hotel was very silly because he wasn't always available (who can be surprised) A separate side note is on the breakfast 'buffet' it wasn't amazing. Very basic considering its a 4* hotel, I've had better choices in Travelodge. I hear that Italians aren't big on breakfast but some options would be appreciated! Would I stay here again? Defo not! But if you're going to hire a car then it's not a bad shout to stay here as you have your own transport to get to places plus parking I believe is free at the hotel.

It was truly fabulous stay!!! We've been deeply impressed: The best view on the Como lake and one of the best views ever!!! Service personnel – friendly and caring, with that personal touch that you won’t get in most of the big hotels. You couldn’t get the better value for the very decent at the Como lake price! We have only spent 3 nights in this beautiful garden. The old buildings have been renovated lovely and the old charm is feeling in the facility. From the reception to the newly opened restaurant (absolutely delicious regional food! evening) the staff was very friendly and premature. English was not a problem too. The nearness to the motorway we have seen as a advantage in the excursions, the noise is heard. For our dog the good was also a highlight! In the small park, accessible through the window, you can use the line to walk. There are also plenty of green flakes around the hotel. The buffet is rather overviewed, there are regional sauce and cheese, bread and sweet food, and fresh fruit (unfortunately no vegetables). Who prefers a shower than a bath, should ask for a room with a shower. We have got a suite with a bathtub which was uncomfortable for us. In the whole we had a beautiful feeling to be welcome, and that's the most important!

We have been in many hotels in different countries, but this one is really special, hotel is beautiful, very nice location, just 9 minutes you are in city center by train. All is good, but personal, Francesco at resection, makes experience to stay here really amazing. Any question you might have, he has an answer, and best is that Francesco does it with pleasure, he helps really with heart, we have never seen such a perfect help in any other hotel. Wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks recently on our usual Italian holiday. We have stayed all over this fantastic country and have to say this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. Located perfectly in Bellagio, it just has everything you can wish for. Cleanliness, especially at the moment, is second to none. Service is second to none.... From helping out with ferry timetables, restaurant recommendations to just having a friendly chat, absolutely fantastic. We stayed in room 101, probably the best in the hotel.... Wonderful balcony, great for watching the thunderstorms 😁 Breakfast was lovely.... Nice variety but most of all, ingredients were fresh and top quality. And mum's cake..... Wow, just scrummy!!! We had a early pick up and they provided a few breakfast bits. Little touches were regular on our holiday but go a long way. I would just like to thank Michele, Elizabeth, Marcello, Mum's cake and of course Ramon for an absolutely amazing holiday. Family run and it really shows, can't recommend highly enough.

I stayed here for 5 days and was very comfortable. I had a solo room with a great mountain view, it was an absolute joy to wake up to. Breakfast is included and they serve the creamiest cappucino I have ever tasted, seriously, its insanely good. They also serve a delicious, rich and moist slice of cake, boiled eggs, fresh fruit and some more of the basics for breakfast. There's a fee if you want to have your eggs fried or scrambled. The mattress was of a great firmness and I got an extra pillow on request. If you need an adapter for your laptop, they have this for you as well. If you want to bring some groceries in there's a fridge you can use downstairs. I'd say the only thing that really bothered me was not being able to make tea in my room. I missed having a kettle, instead I'd have to go downstairs to ask for a cup of tea, that got charged to my total bill at the end of my stay. Besides that, all the staff was incredibly friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The village this villa is located in is also very friendly and quite pretty. There's enough places to walk or hike to for some stunning views, nature and rock collecting. I got a very warm welcome in San Fedele and definitely would recommend anyone to visit. The locals are kind and fun-loving. For solo travelers who don't speak Italian very well it can be a bit intimidating to go out since all nightlife is accumulated in one street and they don't speak a lot of English, but seriously, just go and try your best. Wish people a nice day or evening in Italian, and Google Translate your way through it. There's some people who speak English but generally, just try so you're not being rude. On the day of my birthday, the local flower shop owner came by in the morning and picked and handed me a bunch of beautiful flowers (without knowing it's my birthday). It was a great moment, really made me happy. She was incredibly nice. Her truffle dog is pictured, don't try to pet him lol. On the last day I happened to see her again and got handed some amazingly fragrant flowers, again 🥰
