Very nice and budget friendly hotel. The outside facade does not match the service we received inside. Luckily they are busy renovating so we can't wait to see the much needed facelift. We changed from being Business guests to conference goers due to some difficulties elsewhere, but we were accommodated and welcomed with open arms. THANKS to Leeroy, Antoinette and all the other staff members. WE APPRECIATE YOU.

Definitely an amazing hotel. The hotel was worth every cent. I loved that I was able to get an international plug when I needed one and that the staff was always willing to help. The breakfast OMG!!! Never seen or tasted anything more delicious. The variety of food and service from staff was a absolutely exceptional !!!!

Nice building with historic vibe. The comoun area are nice, but the room are just OK. Cleaness to improve, as the bathroom bin was not emptied from the previous guest No direct open window allowing a good ventilation I asked to change the room but the hotel was prentendingly fully booked

I stayed here for 3 nights recently and it was a lovely place. Easy to locate, beautiful grounds (two pools!) and clean, comfortable rooms with very good air conditioning (important!). The entire staff was very friendly, even the security guard knew me by name. The daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is walking distance from a grocery store as well as a busy street with lots of restaurants. It's a ~15 minute Uber ride to the beach and some other main attractions. And for the price, I feel like you can't get much better of a value. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is ok and everything but the parking is very small and limited I had to park my bakkie on the parking lot across the street but there is a guard 24hrs

Loved the rooms, stunning view and location. Its a pity i couldn't sleep in as i was on a business trip . Stunning room set up and colours. Staff was so nice and respectful. Beautiful reception area, the pool area was stunning .

We had an Amazing experience at the Holiday Inn Express, Umhlanga. This has to be one of the best service I've experienced (local and international included). Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this Establishment. Check in was awesome. Brendan and team were extremely Welcoming, Friendly and Efficient. We were settled into the room in no time as well as informed of all the amenities. We traveled as a group and the team helped us to get rooms close to each other which was so convenient. Breakfast was scrumptious and the service exceeded our expectations. Trisha and the team take their work and service to customers so seriously - like it's their own company. My son wanted Chocolate muffins and they baked it specially for him - how amazing is that! We were leaving early to the airport and Trisha offered to have breakfast ready from 5am - was so impressed and grateful. This has to be one of the best hotels across the world. Kudos to the team and leadership. Highly recommend anyone to not hesitate to book here. Thanks so much guys
