Note: Do be careful of touts which are operating in the surrounding area.They give fake information and Con you into buying their service of transporting you to the top of emeishan,other temple and also become your tour guide. In the event you fall for their trap and is not happy with the service provided, ask them to sent you directly to the police station( Gong Ann) to settle there.

Xiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

I arrived almost midnight, since I can’t read Chinese characters, I walked along the alley to look for the hotel , as I have already walked pass the hotel , I heard a woman asked me .. which hotel I looked for , then I told her Chenyuan hotel.. I was so surprised , she is the owner of the hotel and took me to the lobby area.  The lady boss is really nice person, she explained everything about the Mount Emei pilgrimage. 🙏🙏 The hotel room is really nice  ( exactly like the picture ), the bed is really cozy.  I have a very good sleep, I stayed for 2 nights. All the amenities is complete 😍😍 In the future if I want to go back to Mount Emei, I will definitely will choose this hotel  again.   Thank you so much.  And I wish the lady boss has a prosperous business 🙏🙏

This place is in the mountain about 1000m elevation. It is right beside Wan Nian temple and is very peaceful here. We took the Emeishan tourist bus from the base to Wan Nian bus station. The host greeted us here and drove us up to his hotel. Alternatively you may take the cable car from the wan Nian bus station up and walk 5mins to the hotel or walk an hour without the cable car. The host’s family is very hospitable and we enjoyed our stay here for a week. We had several meals here and they were all delicious. The room we stayed in was upgraded to the highest level with a great view of the mountains. The sound of the forest was simply relaxing except for the morning roosters call 😅 Overall a great experience here and hope to return in future.

If you’re planning to go up to Mount Emei Golden Summit early to beat the crowd, Linggongli, which is located at mid-levels of Mount Emei, is a great place to put up the night. This place may not have many hotels and this hotel may not have many rooms but has air conditioning, floor heating and bed heating that ensures you can sleep comfortably even during nights with freezing temperatures. The rooms are super clean and staffs super friendly. We booked the 3 extended courtyard rooms and had our afternoon tea session on day of arrival. The hotel serves early breakfast upon request and we had one of our best dinners in a private room that night. What’s more incredible is we literally walked 1 minute to the Scenic Area Entrance to start our short journey up to the Golden Summit early. There were no long queues for the bus ride and cable car up. We were early to view the sea of clouds and got to see the sun rising above it. On our way down, the tour group crowds started swarming upwards but likewise we had we didn’t encounter cable car and bus queues.

We had the most incredible experience staying at this hotel apartment! The customer service was truly the best we’ve ever had. Despite accidentally booking the wrong dates, they accommodated us without hesitation. Our original room was unavailable, but instead of downsizing, they generously gave us two rooms at no extra charge. Beyond that, their kindness went above and beyond—when my friend lost his phone in a cab late at night, the owner personally spent an hour making calls to track it down. Thanks to their efforts, the police returned the phone in the middle of the night! The apartments themselves are spacious, spotless, and set in a quiet, peaceful village—perfect for a relaxing stay. We can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10 service and hospitality!

This is one if the biggest hitel rooms we have stayed in China. Very friendly and welcoming family. We used this hotel to visit the Emai mountain. The bus station is 5 minutes away where you have free buses to the main entrance (east gate). From there we walked up to the mountain in 11 hours (one of the longest hikes our life, it was an amazing experince). The hotel is very clean and quiet. There is a supermarkt on the opposite side of the road. We could leave our luggage for free while hiking on the Emaishan. A DiDi Taxi cost around 12 euros from here to Leshan to visit the Grand Buddha. They also offer very delicious food. You must try the Kung Pao chicken. It is the best here in whole China!!

Second time staying here. Amazing location, right beside the tourist buss to go to Emeishan. I was a bit disappointed to find out my room didn’t have a heater but the bed heater was great and kept me nice and toasty. The rooms are very specious and the staff are always kind. The hallway carries sound but it quiets down at a reasonable time.

Simple homestay in the heart of the Yinlin pavilion area. An ideal location if you want to explore this part of Emei mountains and like to stay in nature. Quietness, restaurant, beautiful location inside of scenic area. Because it is in the heart of the scenic area your trip from busstation needs to be arranged. Friendly and helpful staff

It is a bit run down but it suits your needs. I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge. The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options.
