This is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities. The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables. We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and we’re easy to navigate with the routers app. All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group. I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.

The room is way much smaller than I expect unless you don't have many baggage. However, the room is clean and water flow comes from the faucet and hand shower are quite strong and warm. The room is super quite and the there are a variety of food and diversify drink and coffee for breakfast you can select. The hotel location is near downtown of Oslo for 3 mins walk. It's so convenient to buy everything you want in Oslo.

great boutique hotel! only unfortunate thing is that the breakfast only opens at 8am on weekends so we missed it due to an early flight, but they made up for it with a breakfast to-go when we checked out!

Um conhecido hotel de rede norueguesa. A maior vantagem é que fica próximo à estação central. A sala é grande e confortável, mas as instalações gerais do hotel não são as mais viciantes Vantagens: Um rico pequeno-almoço. Há frutas gratuitas e máquinas de café no lobby. Este é um benefício para o frio do Norte da Europa. Desvantagens: Não há muitos elevadores e o equipamento tem uma sensação de idade, mas os quartos são basicamente novos

Wonderful location! Right smacked above the Byporten mall and Oslo central station! No frills hotel stay!  Price per night is value for money! Would recommend getting breakfast included as breakfast is at Egon restaurant - awesome ambience and interiors! Staff are friendly and helpful, would defo be one of my choice for future visit to Norway!

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay at Scandic Holmekollen. The hotel boasts a relaxing ambiance and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The combination of the serene atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff made my stay truly enjoyable. For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Apartamento em ótima localização - fácil e pitoresco passeio a pé ou rápido de metrô até a estação central e o centro da cidade. Ótima minicozinha para preparar suas próprias refeições e economizar dinheiro, com supermercado por perto. Banheiro com máquina de lavar; nossas roupas lavadas secaram durante a noite penduradas no banheiro por causa do aquecimento de piso. Processo de check-in fácil e rápido, mesmo sem recepção. Há funcionários no local - consegui toalhas extras assim que pedi. Com certeza me hospedaria aqui novamente se voltasse a Oslo.
