One of the best onsen I must say. It’s very very near Shirahige Falls about 5 minutes walk in thick snow. But there aren’t any convenient shops or restaurants within reach. I guess you’ll need to drive. Limited public bus to reach the resort and it costs 660 yen. If you missed then you’ll need to get a taxi which cost about 8000 yen. We took the day trip around Biei which cost about 5500 per person to 8 locations around Biei and the last location you guess it right, it’s Shirahige fall. The tour bus driver very kind to drop us at the onsen resort They served the best saisaki and breakfast. Be sure to get your stomach empty before you reach the premise for the dinner.

Really great experience! Breakfast have lots of choice of local food. Welcoming snacks included. Close to the Biei station and Bus station to blue pond with just within 5 mins walk. Connect to a souvenir shop with delicious curry bread! Have free photo printing service all by yourself but please refrain from abusing. I hope this service could keep along!

This hotel is on the mountain, private, quiet, and has a rich history. The room facilities are good. I arrived after Christmas at the end of December. The snow was thick and soft. I personally think it is better than the snow in Xuexiang. The breakfast and dinner are Japanese style, and the taste is good, suitable for Chinese tastes. The hot spring water is natural, with hot pools and warm water pools, which are very comfortable. I will stay here again next time.

Not your normal hostel - a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and were very helpful. Spacious kitchen and shared area. Very clean in every area. Lovely Onsen after being in the mountain. Best to bring your own food although they do have a small shop to buy supplies. Near to the tourist information centre to hire snow shoes, boots, cross country skis etc.

Este apartamento oferece UMA base realmente prática e confortável para explorar a área. Apreciamos realmente os toques pensadores, como as ferramentas básicas e a cortagem para preparação fácil de refeições, e a inclusão bem-vinda de calças instantâneas, escovas de dentes e pasta de dentes.A microonda também é muito útil para snacks rápidos e refeições. O conforto é bem gerido com um ar condicionado que manteve a unidade a uma temperatura agradável durante a nossa estadia.A máquina de lavar roupa era um enorme acrescento, e encontramos a área de secagem designada acima dela no WC muito eficiente. A mesa de refeição separada também é um BOM Toque, proporcionando um espaço confortável para refeições. Com duas camas duplas, esta unidade é bem adaptada para pequenos grupos ou famílias.Também gostávamos de poder ligar nossa conta Netflix à TV, que era ótimo para relaxar nas noites - Não. As coisas a notar sobre a localização O apartamento está localizado EM um bairro tranquilo, oferecendo UMA atmosfera tranquila, e embora não haja muitas refeições diretamente perto, há duas lojas de conveniência EM um alcance fácil. Tenha EM mente que OS supermercados locais tendem a fechar Cerca de 7h00, por isso planeia para as retalhos. Encontramos a área bastante agradável para se encontrar EM torno, com poucas carros Na estrada, o que torna particularmente divertido explorar a cidade com bicicleta, e há várias lojas de aluguer de bicicletas disponíveis se você quiser pedal em torno.

This is a little gem in Biei. It gave me cute little cozy wooden hut in the snow kind of vibe. Iooking out from the dining area and our room, the view was fantastic and breathtaking. Few things to highlight 1. Affordable cost. 2. Quite and peaceful space where you can sink in and enjoy at your own pace 3. Beautiful snowy farm view 4. Clean and spacious room 5. Polite and thoughtful staffs who can communicate in Mandarin is a plus point 6. Complimentary breakfast made by the chef was yummy. Thanks to the chef who also specially prepared a vegan set meal for my mother 7. Coffee beans, coffee grinder and tools for drip coffee making is prepared in the room for guests 8. Spacious parking space However, for old people who are weak and unfit to carry heavy luggages up and down the stairs might suffer a little as the hotel doesn't have a lift access to the bedrooms on the second floor.. The hotel bed is not as comfortable as other hotels in Japan. Overall, I love my stay in this hotel and would be glad to revisit this place.

This would allow for a smoother and faster check-in, without the need for guests to go back and forth to their cars in the freezing temperatures just to take photos for the registration process. Check-out Confusion Even though the hotel had implemented the CCTV audio system to provide clear instructions, the language barrier appears to have caused some confusion for me during the check-out. This can be a common challenge, especially in more remote locations where the staff may not be as fluent in English. Breakfast Since our group requires halal food, it's understandable that we did not include the breakfast option in our package. The hotel could consider offering more diverse breakfast options to cater to different dietary needs in the future. Luggage Handling and Car Access One of the key issues we faced was the need to transport our luggage from the parking area to the unit using carts, rather than being able to drive our car closer to the entrance. This was especially challenging given the freezing -10°C temperatures at night .To improve this, it would be greatly appreciated if the hotel could allow guests to drive our cars closer to the entrance, even if just temporarily, to drop off the luggage. This would avoid the need for guests, especially those traveling with elderly or young children, to struggle with pushing heavy carts through the frigid weather. Scenery Despite the challenges, the stunning winter scenery at Auberge Ninguruforet seems to have made up for it. The -8°C temperature that morning must have created a true winter wonderland, with the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and crisp, clear skies. This picturesque setting is surely a highlight of your stay.Overall, with some improvements to the location accessibility, check-in/out procedures, and guest services, Auberge Ninguruforet could provide an even more enjoyable experience, especially for larger groups traveling with families. The breathtaking winter scenery, however, remains a major draw for this property. We will surely come again to Auberge Ninguruforet, this time leaving our larger luggage in the car and only carrying the essentials we need for our stay in our backpacks. This will allow us to avoid the hassle of transporting heavy bags through the frigid weather, and instead focus on enjoying the stunning winter scenery.By packing light and only bringing what we need for the duration of our visit, we can easily move between our car and the hotel entrance without the struggle of pushing carts through the snow. This will make the check-in and check-out process much smoother, especially for our group with elderly and young family members.Despite the minor inconveniences we experienced previously, the breathtaking winter wonderland at Auberge Ninguruforet remains a major draw for us. We look forward to returning, better prepared to handle the cold temperatures, and immersing ourselves in the serene, picturesque setting that this property offers. With a few adjustments to our packing and luggage management, we are confident our next stay will be an even more enjoyable and memorable experience.

Usei o ônibus, mas infelizmente foi difícil encontrar o ponto de encontro do ônibus que ia para lá. Seria útil se o motorista pudesse lhe dar instruções claras após a chegada. Não houve problema com a viagem de volta. Os outros serviços eram bons e me senti confortável em usá-los. A comida era muito deliciosa (fiquei especialmente feliz com os frutos do mar), mas alguns itens do menu acabaram rapidamente. Fui lá para o Festival Icefall, mas o local era um pouco longe para eu passear com uma criança pequena.

The place is very conveniently located near the train station. The room is spacious and clean! It was a very comfortable stay. The host is also very friendly.
